@@brandonbentley8532 I would not even listen to these at home if I lived alone.....I could not imagine listening to these out in the woods.......Forget that....😉
The first story struck a nerve with me as I had a bit of a similar situation a few years back. I was on a road trip with my son & two of his friends. We were driving along a country road with woods on both sides, when coming upon an intersection, I saw a car at the intersection to the right but it wasn’t moving. It could have made it across in plenty of time but it just sat there with the headlights on. Then suddenly saw a wall right in front of us. After my initial, OMG, where did that wall come from thought, my reaction was to turn right. As. I was about to make the turn, the wall suddenly disappeared & I was able to right the car & keep going straight. My son was sleeping in the back seat & his friend next to him was watching a video. His other friend in the front seat, braced himself for the turn, but didn’t say anything as I straightened the car & continued going straight. I didn’t say anything as I was still trying to process what just happened. As I drove on, I kept thinking I was finally losing my mind as I could not believe that I hallucinated a wall in the middle of a country road. It wasn’t even that late, so I couldn’t say I was tired or anything. I was seriously thinking I needed to get checked when I got back home because I started doubting my own sanity. Then out of nowhere, my friend in the front seat said, “ you’re going to think this is crazy, but I thought I saw a wall back there”. I literally got the child hearing this. When I asked him to describe what he saw, the wall, the car & even the intersection was different than what I had seen. His wall was brick, mine was white. His car was silver, mine was black. His car’s headlights were off, mine were on. I saw a typical four way intersection, he saw trees all along the left side. It was weird & totally inexplicable. The friend watching the movie in the back just caught a feint glimpse of a wall but couldn’t describe much & my son slept the through the entire thing. Both my friend & I felt that SOMETHING wanted us to turn right at that intersection for some reason and neither of us saw a driver in that car. One last thing which may or may not be related. Along the road leaving that intersection, for at least a mile or two, were these weird, intermittent, barn fires scattered about the fields. There was no smell of burning running and one around the fires or anywhere at all for that matter & except for the phantom car, we didn’t see any other cars going in either direction for at least twenty minutes. Again, we have no explanation for what happened that night.
When I was a kid I truly believed that if my feet were off the side of the bed that something would grab them or bite my toes off.... I also believed that the devil liked to poke you with needles through the mattress... Talk about not being able to sleep 😢😴 I am not a Christian so I don't trip over the devil thing anymore but at 42 I still keep my hands and feet on the bed 😂😂😂😂😂
Ugh, I'm ur age and I'm still afraid to leave my feet uncovered when I'm in bed waiting to fall asleep. I used to keep my feet on my bed and would sleep with my head under my blanket as if it was impenetrable. 😆
Those damn monsters are like "shit he's fully protected by his blanket..... Maybe next time" 😂 😂 😂 😂 I can totally understand the red dirt and devil theory as well lol its what happens when adults try to scare kids with stories of devils to keep them in line 😱🙄😂😂😂😂😂
I am at point when i dont care anymore 'come and get me demons, my life already is hell" 😃😃😃 btw this is so common belive all around the world and all ages i am really curiously where it came from!?! 😄
If I fell into the water and my "friends" didn't even bother to check to see if I was alright cuz they thought I'd be okay (and I didn't drown) they would no longer be my friends...well, technically, they would no longer be my friends if I died because, well - death, you know. It kinda gets in the way of friendship. Thank you Darkness Prevails! 👍💯😊❣️
My friends and I went look for the Shirley cemetery, but we couldn’t find it. So we went to Hotel Hell (May it Rest In Peace) instead...and we got caught by the cops 🤣 good times. Green Bay’s got some things, like a creepy little chapel in the woods
Accidents can cause the most wondrous hallucinations or in my case dream. I slipped, fell down the stairs and twisted my leg. I managed to get back home, but after a short pause, I tried to stand up, but the pain knocked me out and I had the best dream in my life and even in the dream, I knew that it can't be real, but it felt like it and I felt at peace that I didn't want to wake up!
Dude, Grandma ain't gonna scare you and break your things (unless you had a mean one). She's going to let you rest bc she too wants to RIP. I'm very sorry for your loss and understand that pain all too well. But trust me when I say that ain't Grandma and you need to get rid of it.
Sorry I haven't watched your videos on a while darkness I'm a senior in high school and I've been dealing with a lot of stuff in a short amount of time. Please forgive me.
@@tllrvdr7272 tbh I wanted to go to A&m college station cuz of my major but after visiting it... I- its wayy to big and it can be mad dangerous and I have to take a train to go to classes ..., its expensive as hell... , and theres like no diversity 💀 I come from a place of high diversity but college station is 95% white so I feel out of place. Im planning to go to a&m cc as ita cheaper amd on a whole island! I might transfer to cpllege station after tho for grad school. Wby?
In the first story it seemed to be a kind of time loop? I honestly got the impression that when they were being chased by the car that kept up with them, that it was actually them from before, when they were following a car at increasingly higher speeds.
All the nocturnal cryptids are saying:Then we;sleep through day, then we play;all through the late night.Sleep through day, then we play;all through the late night.
Just finished listening to a gas station horror stories collab with you and Made Mike. Liked his narration so well that I subbed. Thank you Darkness Prevails! 👍💯
"Looked up Shirley Wisconsin." Well I can say that I seen the mill, a bar, and the church with the cemetery on the side, but there was definitely no other cemetery.
Thanks a lot for being such a great narrator! When I fall asleep while listening to you, I have to Re-listen! Your great at what you do! Damn you! And... Thanks....again is what I'm trying to say! OWN IT!
That Wisconsin Shirley story was so weird. They were looking for cars, and as soon as one popped up they got scared and drove away. Then got scared that it was following them... didn’t they just follow 3 cars 😂
Q for DP: I was listening to some of your re-released early stuff, and noticed your accent, yet I don't hear it at all in your current narrations. Along with other ways you evolved your narrations, did you do speech practice, which I assume could suppress your accent, or did it just evolve over time?
The guy that walked outta the cornfield is just Old Man Boo-regard, gettin tired of them damn kids hanging out beside his field, obviously up ta no good.
If creatures have trolls among them too. We all know that creature at the end is going to do the fork and knife scene from Ace Ventura just because they see the suffering is so unique and delicious... That noise still makes me cringe just thinking about it. We know some things were human or can appear human according to legend, so they must have douchebaggery too.
