So I am finally showered, son in the bed & I am sitting down to eat the enchilada casserole. SO GOOD!!! I added several seasonings & a can of southwestern corn. Thank you for an EASY & DELICIOUS crock pot recipe! Definitely a keeper. ♡
Can you share your slow cooker brand? I just returned my Kitchenaid slow cooker because the chord got really hot and I’m not taking chances again with the brand. Thank you!
You prolly dont care but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
Me and fiance are struggling BUT SLOWLY getting back on our feet moved into a nice RV on family members property and havent gotten the electricity PROPERLY hooked up so we do the bare minimum..... and the crock pot has saved me from feeling like a useless woman ! My man can eat even tho every thing seems horrible..... this is how we go about our days. Trying our best. Thank you for this !!
Crock Pots are seriously so amazing and worth it! I am so glad you have loved your crockpot! Thank you so much for all of your love and support, you are so kind and I hope you guys have a blessed week:)
Every recipe I’ve tried is a 10/10. I made the chicken and rice off this video and sent 1/2 to to my moms and dads to share. They loved it too. Thank you!!
Thank you so very much Heather for that feedback! I am so glad that you enjoyed this recipe so much and you were able to share it with your parents too. Thank you so very much again for watching😀😀
For stroganoff sometime you should try using golden mushroom soup instead of the cream of mushroom. We just use that and sour cream and it’s absolutely delicious, so much more flavor!! Also thanks so much for making something that doesn’t have a ranch packet in it!! I don’t need every single meal to have ranch lol.
Wow! That is really such a great idea I will have to keep that in mind next time! Thank you so much for all the support and I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day :-)
Amcma2004: For years I’ve been using a crockpot stroganoff recipe that calls for golden mushroom soup and sour cream, and it really does make a big difference. Maybe it’s the same recipe as yours! 😀
My tip is to use crock pot liners! They are near the plastic wrap in stores. Makes clean up so easy! I love making Turkey chili and pot roast in mine! I’m gonna try all of these!!!!! Thank you!!!
@@susancham6025 No, crockpot liners should absolutely not be banned, just like plastic straws, cutlery, and paper plates should not be banned. Have you ever considered the fact that all of these items greatly help disabled people who have limitations on how long they can stand up, lean over a sink to wash dishes, or even use their limbs? Plastic straws allow some people to independently drink liquids when they are unable to lift a cup independently. It's the same thing with single serving convenience foods and prepackaged chopped veggies. These things can be a LIFESAVER for disabled people. Please consider that not everyone has the same abilities or health as you do.
@@joem2130 wowza you have presumed a LOT about me lol. YOU are actually the type of person who makes Disabled Individuals appear whiny and privileged. I assure you that many of us are far more concerned about the earth and all her precious life forms than these wasteful, toxic habits of convenience. People who have the severe limits you mention also benefit from metal reuseable straws, and melamine dishware. They most likely need someone else, able bodied to prepare food and maybe even fed them, so your ideas are nonsense. Please stop being so ignorant and selfish. Also, single serving items are expensive and full of preservatives and unknown chemicals, far from healthy. Smdh
@@joem2130 such a valid point. I just had a baby and was in some pretty intense pain for quite some time. As much as it would have helped in some ways, I never used my crock pot because I knew the clean up would be too much afterward. I could barely even lift the dang thing. it's too bad foil or wax paper can't be used instead of plastic, though. A necessary evil, I suppose. There are bio degradable pseudo plastics used for compostable utensils and plates, but I don't know about how they would hold up to the heat.
It’s so frustrating. When I snap my fingers my onion is julienned instead of diced. I am having problems mastering the “dice” snap. What’s your secret?
@@davidkreutzer4778 I use one container of beef broth or stock (lately we only have one or the other at the store), a roast I seasoned overnight with salt and pepper, and let those cook for several hours, then I do the potatoes and the carrots after the meat has had time to cook for awhile, and then after the roast dinner has been eaten, I use the leftover broth with another container of broth, boil it with egg noodles, and shred the leftover beef in it as well to make beef and noodles. Serve with a buttered bread.
I'm so glad this popped up in my feed today! I forgot to root through the freezer last night so your tortelloni recipe gave me ideas for a simple supper so I don't need to go out in the snow. I searched my pantry and came up with this. 1 can stewed tomato chopped up adding about 1/3 can water. 1 small bag of ricotta & spinach tortelloni, 1 can mushrooms, and may yet add a bit of onion, some grated asiago cheese, garlic, and some frozen leaf spinach. I hope it comes out a bit soupy. A last minute on the fly meal with a green salad. I don't see how anyone can live without a pantry and a large and smaller crock pot! So thank you very much for the inspiration for a hopefully edible meal.
I made the Enchilada casserole, yesterday. It was a HUGE hit!!!! total comfort food on a chilly winter day. I did add the black olives and mild green chile. Topped with sour cream, it was a show stopper. Thank you, Julia!!!!
My daughter does Thanksgiving in a crock pot : layering each item First: in the bottom of your crock pot put : your boneless chicken breast seasoned with some poultry seasoning, salt pepper 2.a large can of cream of chicken on top- note if you like creamy than add 1/2 cup milk 3.a bag of frozen green beans 4.a box of stove top stuffing (Dump stuffing right out of box on top) Let cook 3hrs on high *Make this your own You can also add frozen carrots Add fresh chopped celery To your family's liking Always dump your boxesStove top dressing right out of package on top . Time can also vary- depending on how fast Your crock pot cooks My daughter says it's like Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy ..
I cant wait to try some of these. I absolutely love dump and go crock pot recipes! My go to is a beef roast and all you add to that is one can of cranberry sauce and one packet of French onion soup mix. I usuallh cook about 2.5 pounds for 6 hours and pair it with white rice. No water needed when cooking. The cranberry sauce makes a nice liquid!
Ashley, I just made your recipe using cranberry sauce and onion soup mix today and it’s now our favorite way to cook roast. It was so delicious! Thank you for the recipe.
This enchilada recipe is the foundation for my go-to slow cooker dish. I use green enchilada sauce with some hatch chiles thrown in. I was a beginner with this cooker and my success with this dish encouraged me to try more things. Thank you for what is now several delicious (and EASY) meals!
That is awesome! Way to go! And that sounds amazing. I love hatch green chili. It definitely reminds me of my home state of New Mexico. Thank you so much for sharing what you do and I’m happy to hear that you’re enjoying your slow cooker so much🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for the inspiration Julia! Tried the tortillini soup the other night, and it got RAVE reviews from my husband! Best recipe I've made during the pandemic thus far!
I've gad a slow cooker for years now. Finally decided to bring it out. Now that my children are with me 24-7 it's time to let the cooker do the cooking! 😆
I love to have these videos on hand when I am in a pinch and need something flavorful for a potluck or family get together. I think most people will enjoy these type of meals.
I made the Beef Stroganoff recipe this evening. I followed the recipe without any changes, served over egg noodles. It was so easy and absolutely delicious. Thank you
I was thinking the same thing, browning the sausage before and and then waiting to add the spinach and tortellini later is not Dump & Go. I did this same recipe in my InstaPot and it took 20 mins. I just cooked the tortellini separate.
I don't think I've ever watched something like this and actually loved the look every recipe listed! Thanks so much! My husband is going to love these!
Hi, Julia 👋 Every recipe is a winner! I will certainly be making some if not all. I like recipes where recipes can be modified to suit my families taste. I hope you've had a great week. I know you must be excited to see Brinleys reaction to Christmas. I remember my daughter's second Christmas at my mothers. There were so many presents and she was overwhelmed. She stood on them and screamed!!😂 Making memories with family is a blessing. Thank you for the recipes🎄💞
Awww the sound of your daughter at Christmas is so sweet! Thank you so much. I am so excited to see Brinley’s reaction to the Christmas gifts! Have a blessed day 😊
You go girl. Love your quick yet thorough steps. Easy to watch! Will try a few for sure. Perfect for this time of year and all the fun stuff we are all dealing with!
l love my Mom's vintage crock-pot. It's a 70s "Canadian General Electric" in the traditional 'harvest gold' with appropriate colour accents. l'll definitely try a recipe or two in the ol' cooker from this video.
My mom used to make me beef stroganoff because she knew it was my favorite as a kid and teenager. I can't wait to make it. My mom passed away in 2009 so now I can make it. Thank you Julia to it looks so yummy 😋😁👍😊
What a wonderful memory you have, Tina. I’m sure there are many more too! I sure hope you enjoy this stroganoff as much as you did your mother’s. Have a wonderful rest of your week and thanks for your positive comment💜💜
These all look so amazing! I'm definitely going to have to try your version of the tortellini soup. And so creative with that enchilada casserole. So fun collabing with you 💜
I am so glad I went back into the archives for this one Julia. Can't tell you how many times I have thrown away corn tortillas. No I know I can cut them up and use them in this enchilada recipe. I would love for you to make a video showing us how you repurpose different leftovers. Like mashed potatoes, vegetables, spaghetti sauce etc. I think with the price of groceries going up we can all use a little advice on this.
Oh my goodness, all of these are fantastic..my favorite I think is the chicken mushroom rice.i love how easy and fast,no stress these are.i can't wait to try all of these 💖 great job.thank you so much.hv a awesome day.good wishes and God's blessings to you and your family 😇⛄🎄💚❤️🎄💚⛄❤️💚
All of these are definitely getting on my dinner table. Years ago when I first started to cook I used the crockpot a lot. Haven’t used it to much over the years as I was venturing out to new cooking ways. But now that I’m older I’m more into the easy simplest way of cooking, so out came the new crockpot & I’m really enjoying trying out all these recipes I’ve found on u-tube. Can’t wait to try these, so glad to have found you. I complement you on how easy you explain & show the way it’s done & even the final outcome, very impressive. Thank you so much
Thank you so much for subscribing Sherie! I sure do appreciate that. I do love cooking with my crockpot. It’s super good in the summer too so the house doesn’t get heated up😉
I can't wait to try these recipes! They look so easy and delicious. Over the years i have used different methods that save time but nothing compares to the crockpot meals I make. When my adult kids come to visit with their families, the meals they request are crockpot recipes. They will love these. Thank you for sharing them.
Thank you so much! I am so happy that you enjoyed the chicken enchilada recipe :-) I bet it would be amazing with olives and corn! Have a wonderful weekend😊
I made the Creamy Tortellini Sausage Soup tonight, and it was fabulous! So perfect for a cold rainy night! I did have to make a couple of minor substitutions- I don’t eat sausage so I used a pound of ground beef seasoned with sausage spices (I do that all the time in Italian dishes- so easy- you can Google the spices.) Also, Trader Joe’s didn’t have cheese tortellini, so I used their small cheese ravioli. This was the first recipe I tried, I’m going to be eating this often! Now… what to try next?!
I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed that soup so much, Candace! And thank you so very much for that great tip about the seasonings to mimic the flavor of sausage. I really do appreciate that! I sure hope you enjoy some of my other recipes and thank you for sharing your alterations😉💜💜
Those look so good! I have to try the ziti because my family loves lasagna but my daughter hates meat. My favorite crock pot meal is chicken breast, packet of taco seasoning, packet of fiesta ranch, a jar of salsa, and you can add onion, peppers, cream cheese, etc then shred the chicken once it’s cooked and you have delicious taco meat. We make burritos or nachos with it. It’s so yummy.
I'm here watching, Julia. It all looked delicious, as always. Hugs and Christmas kisses to my sweet girl, Brinley. If I don't get another chance, I want to wish you, Will, Brinley, and your entire family a very Merry Christmas.
Since my husband passed away, I have to learn to cook for myself. I made one of these recipes, and I ate 1/4 and individually packaged and froze the remainder. Even old girls can learn new tricks. Thanks for the videos. I subscribed. I think your channel is worth it. :)
That’s a great idea! I know that my mom does that during the week and has lunches for work. I’m so sorry to hear about your husband😞hope you have a wonderful new year
Bravo!! I love cooking with a crock pot! It saves me time! I love the recipes you shared in this video! I will try them out this week!!! Thank you for making this video ❤️
I made a version of the tortellini soup tonight for dinner and it was divine and so so delicious. I used up the rest of my Christmas ham and used chicken stock but kept everything else the same. So good! Thanks for the recipe, I’ve used a lot of the meals you share in your videos and they are always a hit.
All the recipes are comfort food- you are such a smart young lady, wife and mother. I’m old school and I cook the long version of meals- but I do love your short cuts and they save time. I’m enjoying your channel and glad I subscribed 💕. Your actually teaching me new ways to cook- thanks for sharing 💕.
all great ideas there ...creamy pasta soup looked scrummmyyyy ... i love making cornbeef ash in my slow cooker and split pea n ham soup there my one of my favs...the cormbeef we get in england is out of a tin ... you cut it up n make sandwiches or pop it in your stew ...makes for a hearty cheap meal n makes a ton hee hee 💐
All of these look really really good. Thank you. I might be weird but I absolutely do not like shredded meat, I always have to take it out and dice it. No big deal.
My wife will put a chuck roast with onion soup mix on top with potatoes, carrots and onions. I like the idea of adding cream soups and cream cheese or sour cream. That is something we will try thanks.
I can’t wait to try these. Thanks for sharing. Also thank you for showing what you added. People often say a can of cream of ? Soup but never tell what size. That’s quite a difference. Thanks again.
I’m making chicken and rice tonight! I made beef stroganoff yesterday and baked ziti day before that. Thank you for helping give good easy ideas to feed my family!!!!! Tortellini soap tomorrow!!!!
This randomly appeared on my feed and I am so glad that it did! ❤ I love crockpot meals and can always use some more recipes that isn't pot roast or chili. Going to try out that creamy tortellini sausage soup tomorrow night! ❤ subscribed!
@@JuliaPacheco it was absolutely delicious! ❤ I couldn't find tortellini so I used frozen ravioli instead, also added some onions and used hot sausage instead of sweet sausage. My husband and I agreed it'll be a permanent staple in our household 😊 yum!
I wish you could have a sweepstakes where the winner could have you come and make a meal for them. I’d like being the first winner! Everything you cook looks just so yummy!!!!
One chuck roast, 2 sticks of butter, 2 packets of Hidden Valley ranch season packs. 1 jar of whole banana peppers with 1/2 the juice from the jar. Cook on low 8 hours. You will never cook a roast any other way.
Im a retired nurse and worked 13 Christmasses in a row. My go to meal was turkey breast in crockpot while i was working, and potatoes and greenbean casserole was a quick side dish. With my sons help wed have meal within 20 minutes.
I've tried all of these, and they ALL turned out GREAT! Of course, you can adjust the seasoning to your preference, but these recipes give you wonderful "founddations!"
Absolutely you can adjust seasonings. That’s what makes cooking so interesting!! Thank you so very much for watching. And have a wonderful rest of your week!😀😀
@@JuliaPacheco Actually having the chicken with rice dish tonight! Kind of excited- it smells really good! Do you have a cookbook? You have so many amazing recipes! Thanks for sharing with your fans!
I made the enchilada casserole a couple of weeks ago, and it has become a family favorite already! My family absolutely loved it! Thank you for sharing, Julia ❤
