Michelle, I've been retired for 15 years but your enthusiasm and ideas make me want to jump back in! I was considered innovative in my day but never had the opportunity to use the internet, or Chromebooks, or Promethean boards to enhance or reduce my teacher workload. I did have the best craft closet and dress up box. I was a big believer in acting out ideas, concepts, stories, etc. as well as many hands-on activities as humanly possible. I LOVED teaching; some days I miss it but my time is past. The future belongs to teachers like you! Carry on, Michelle! Thank you for being the kind of teacher that knows that to involve students you have to make learning an experience.
This is the best! I wish I had this several years ago already!! Wow! Way to be on top of things!!! Hey! TAKE IN FRIENDS THAT IS IMPORTANT! I YOU AND BILLY ENJOYED THAT AND BILLY PROBABLY NEEDED friend time as well, especially after getting a new job!!!
+Pocketful of Primary Michelle , One thing about Your ABC Countdown ........ Quiet Day ...... In the end , I am proud of you for the way that you stuck it out and made it through . Let me put it that way . Thank you for all of your vlogs . - Dwight
Thank you for the awesome ideas! I shared the Homeroom Games idea with my 4th grade team!!!! Btw, your arms are GOALS!!! 🙌🏻 What does your arm workout routine include??
Hey! Would love to talk to you some more. Have been following you since the inception and I'm a teacher in the Caribbean and would like to become more organized and effective. Please reach out when you can
I included that in the countdown idea... I mentioned how you can do a student countdown where each student gets a special day and part of that can include classmates sharing compliments, affirmations, or whatever you choose!
This is awesome! The ideas are so simple and so cool at the same time! I love minute to win it games! I’ve actually loved watching old clips from the TV show (they need to bring it back by the way)! I wish we had candy class awards when I was going through school! The student spotlight is cool too (saying great things about classmates builds the classroom community)!
The countdown ideas sound so fun! Thank you so much for this video, it definitely helped inspire me to buckle down and make it through the end of the school year.
