Don't worry it will be revealed in next 2-3 episode And there are already subtle hints leading to this in last episode Ray was singing same song as Isabella when she was going to gate with conny. Ray heard this song when he was a fetus. Isabella used to sing that song a lot (she learnt this song from his best friend when she was a child) And fun fact Isabella knows that ray knows he is her son.

Ray is such a good character, just like Connie. If it wasnt for Connie then the entire series would have never existed or be this popular. Sure she wasnt around for long but her fate launched the story forward.

Well it's thanks to Ray since Ray intentionally left Connie's little bunny on the table so that Emma can find it and go to the gate. So technically without Ray no one would have known about Connie's death.

Ray Best Boi! Unfortunately, after Grace field escape arc, author decided to totally neglect him and waste his potential as a character. In the next arcs, it's all about Emma, Emma, Emma. Ray is merely like a support character like Don & Gilda. So frustrating!!

I honestly feel the same way and it really bothers me. I'm not surprised that they initially wanted to kill Ray off and part of me even thinks that they should have done so, leaving the character at a high note instead of pushing him in the background. I like Emma as much as the next person, but the three of them together - Ray, Norman and Emma - their interactions and shared main character trio made the show for me. I don't need to see so much of Emma if Ray is actually in the picture and is capable of doing stuff. I miss their interaction and shared decisions. I don't think Emma is really a cookie-cut hero-type either and feel like her hopeful and stubborn mindset works best in a team.

@@rebeccascholtes1438 Yeah, I agree. I like Emma but what bothers me the most is that EVERY characters put her on a pedestal, worship her as if she was a godess or something. Like anything good happened, it's thanks to Emma. If we can eat it's thanks to Emma. If we can talk it's thanks to Emma. If we can breath etc... And I'm not exaggerating that much! Lol The trio completed each other (intellectual, force, culture...) and I think that's what attracted readers/viewers in the beginning. So I'm greatly disappointed by how things turned out to be

She's a very smart, fast, talented and determined young lady, but her "being liked by everyone" and "changing despair into hope" kind of thing worked initially, because she was in a team of people that were clearly on equal footing with her, even exceeding her in some points. They all brought different perspectives because of their different character and together, they managed to fill with the other was lacking. They managed to escape because the three of them combined found a way out. Now, there is Emma. Just, talented headstrong Emma who everyone takes a liking to. Perhaps it's no tf the change of direction in the genre I miss, though psychological thrillers are absolutely amazing, but the harsh contrast between the characters that are left. Emma is pretty much invincible, even surviving mortal wounds. It's.... boring. I didn't want Emma to become a strong female shounen protagonist. I just want to her to be Emma.

ray is my fav character of this series . so he had in my opinion best design. idk norman for me just was typical overpowered main character ( even tho he isn't) , emma is typical shounen mc , but a girl,while ray may seem typical edgy guy , but he is really deep character. i like all 3 of them , but ray was definetly my favorite.

djef ardeur actually Norman is the most intelligent In the first episode if you pause it to when the demons were looking at the clip board at the highest test scores Norman has all scored 300 Ray missed out on one test. But scored somewhere in the 290’s And Emma had missed out on two or three (I think) one/two in the 290’s and another in 280’s

crazy thing about him remembering things as an infant, it may be a real thing because Im 32 and i told my mom how i remember laying on a waterbed trying to grab vinyl records out of it???🤔she then told me how it was crazy i had remembered that far back, she said it was my older brothers bed and that he had his records under the bed which you could see through and at that time i was maybe 1!😳 another case of this is with my boyfriends brother, hes 6 he told them how he use to like going to taco bell and eating when brother worked there???🤔 their mom told me how my boyfriend use to work there back when the little one was 1 and 2, and they would eat there after dropping my boyfriend off for work or they would wait inside to pick him up after work and eat!😳
