All those years of seeing his family getting shipped away,knowing that he was sending them off to their deaths; How much pain and self-hate did you keep inside that already caged heart of yours? I feel so sorry for Ray. A child should never have to carry such a burden like he had to and yet, I can't help but to admire him as well. He did what not even an adult could possibly do and saw it through the bitter end. I love Ray so much and for so many reasons ♥️ This scene made me fall for him harder than Icarus I think.

What a painful life Ray has had, he read and studied his whole life even though he didn't enjoy it much with little freedom to get high scores and to hold more value as 'merchandise' when shipped out so. He then planned a suicide for years of his life and as soon as he turned 12 he was ready to take his life as 'revenge' because he knew he held great value. What a depressing life he had, the only enjoyable moments of his life was when he spent it with his adopted siblings.

On the manga whenever Ray wants to do reckless things or dangerous stuff the kids would always glare at him because they think that Ray wants to kill himself again lol

i’m fully convinced ray isn’t entirely sane. remembering everything that’s ever happened to him as well as knowing the truth from day one couldn’t have helped.

Just imagine it, Ray is 12 years old, he has a long way to go, and yet ending his life at this age is so tragic. They suffer to much, I hope they would be able to see a paradise and end this tragedy.

She is too late.* *Their mother opens the door and immediately covers her eyes from the brightness of the fire. When she opens her eyes she sees the room in flames, and a crying Emma bent over where Ray once was.* Emma: "Ray..!"
