5 Guns You SHOULD Be Using in DayZ 

Any gun I can find is my go-to weapon, finding the right bullets is another mission altogether 😂

My favorite weapons in this awesome game (depending on my mood of the day), but mostly I shall say: AK-74 or M16A1 both with iron sights for CQC or even mid-range. Mid-large range, I'll go between SKS or Mosin Nagant basically because it's the same scope for both rifles and I'm in love with both Russian guns, and also the internal magazine comes pretty handy so that way I only have to worry about carrying only ammo and no extra mags. And the winner for the side pistol option, ladies and gentlemen: The M1911 Colt .45, and secondly the .357 Revolver, I've saved my bacon many times because of the big caliber of both guns, maybe low cartridge capacity, but those .45 and .357 rounds doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to taking down a tango. KAM with 75 is an unstoppable killing machine. Your enemies will shit their pants when they hear that big mag spraying at you 😁

the KA-74 is always my go to, with the 45rnd mags with its ammo type common at NW airfield it's one my favourites, love its reliability and versatility

Personally I love the 22s. Maybe not the best for PVP, but for clearing zombies without drawing attention, they are fantastic!!

LAR with the big ACOG, both close-long range, VSD, AUR AX or M4. AS VAL is great as well, because of the kinda strong ammo+non existent recoil, king of CQB along with the LA MAS, but overall, LAR or VSD because of the punch they pack + their versatility. They are jack of all trades, but master of nothing. The LAR great for both sniping and CQB and the SVD is almost the same.

I normally don't use the KAM but you talked me into playing around with it again 👍. Only complaint I have about the bizon is its spawn placement currently. They spawn in tier 3 and 4 mili bases so that means by the time you found one you'll most likely already have a better gun and will not want to trade it out. It's a shame cause I like the gun too. If they'd spawn in tier 2 and 3 mili bases I think we would see it get used alot more

Been staring at this ka-m drum mag in my loot box for days. Finally went into the gas zone for the first time and found me a ka-m

M4 with just the front sight and vsd with the preset 200m scope has to be the best combo I’ve used in the game

my go to combo is ak 74 + sks with pu scope.

I do like the glock, nice zombie piece

The PSO scope rocks once you know how the built in rangefinder works

Aug ax, lfamas King of cqb, blaze as my sniper, vsd for dmr.... I used to favour the m4a1 and the lar but they don't seem to be as good as they once where..... also I do like the sval for stealth

BK-133 is the defacto best gun in all of DayZ.

What do you guys think of the SK 5966? I'm thinking about giving it a try but a wanna hear the experts first.

I love running the m4 as my close and personal weapon and lar or blaze as my sniper

1- KA-75 because its beautiful and i like shooting with 40 rounds in a mag 2- mosin i just love the reloading and the scope 3- VSD i can get a silencer and shot 10 rounds in a mag 4- Blaze its cool and i like the reloading 5- M4A1 with 60 mag

Nobody ever seems to like the PSO scopes but most people don't realise they come with a rangefinder, it's one of my favourites and most useful

Thanks. Never really settled upon a gun. Likeses me classic reliable Glock and had half dozen genuine PvP kills ( shot in the back) with SKS. Think I am going to work the blaze for sometime now after seeing this. Never picked up a bizon but will try it. Thinking about it I have used the M16 a lot. Never killed fk all with it but I look like John j Rambo and that's all I need sometimes

I have a big question it is possible ducktape 2 mags for kam or for any other AR and if yes them please how 😊

I love the VSD and you have to get the PSO-1-1 for it, it has built in rangefinder and graph wich is very useful for long range moving targets.

When I find a SVD thats all I will carry. Unless I have an AKM or AK-101. SVD, revolver, and MK-11 for killing zombies is endgame for me.

hi @KillBeanz , what's the best round /gun to stop bearz. The little pesky cuddle bearz always ruin my hunting trip.

I play xbox official and its been months since i have seen a kam drum mag , even geared players i drop that have the kam dont even have it ....its depressing for me.

I haven't found an akm for AGES. Can someone tell me why ? I had like 6 fully decked out fals in the time

Sad they nurfed the Blaze in 1.18. The VSD has been one my favorite. Packs a huge amount of energy. I do like the M16 too.

M4a1 is the best

My typical loadout is 300 blackout honey Badger M110 in 308 And FX45 for my pistol all suppressed And if I'm on a heavy zombie load server I will carry the spas 12

My only criticism is you're unnecessarily canting your weapon in some scenarios.
