Tina, welcome back to 2023! So glad to see you back on RU-vid. Missed you more than I thought I would. A good cup of coffee and your weekly RU-vid channel makes for a perfect Sunday morning. Thanks for what you do!
When i stay indoors too long i feel gross going outside makes me come back to life with happiness and positivity. Exercise makes me feel positive, and so does checking off things for the day i wanted to accomplish. Cleaning being organized like you said is a big game changer too! Just making the bed is a mood changer😀These are all great reminders I needed to hear !👍🏽
1. Great to see you are back with a smile and surfing again 2. Thank you for all the content you have created - it has been fun to watch/share your journey, looking forward to more 3. You are good at all of this and so many things - never give up, but keep a healthy balance 4. Don't measure yourself against anyone else - your greatness lies within you 5. Take each video as it comes and use it as a learning experience - if you learned something, it is a win, being viral is icing on the cake 6. Keep on being you - there is a reason people continue to watch and that is you 7. Check out the cover slide for habit #5 - a little thing you might edit if you can do that without re-posting (all good though) 8. Think about a sharing a Japanese and/or Hawaiian word or phrase of the week in each video - maybe "language corner" kind of thing You have enough subscribers to fill Aloha stadium and have 12k plus sitting on the grass as well. Just imagine that if you are ever wondering whether this channel has been a success. Keep on being your fun, goofy, chatty, beautiful self and I think folks will still love to hang out for future content.
it's great to see you smiling and full of energy again. This makes me and I'm sure all of your fans very happy in return. Keep spreading the joy and love. That's something I'm leaning from you at my rip age of 37. Thanks for sharing you tips and what a great crew you roll with. Cheers from cold Ottawa.
Back in the 90's a cycling coach at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs said the first thing to do every morning is to drink a glass of water becasue you are dehydrated from the nights sleep. So cool you and your body naturally figured this out! Great Channel!
Girl, I just realized how much I too have slack when it came to the healthy habits. I work at a retail store so I move around a lot and when at home I take care of my 88 year old grandma... All that can be a challenge to juggle but I have a few healthy habits that help me and they are: 1. Get up and take my thyroid medicine with plenty of water. 2. Eat breakfast an half an hour after medicine. I used to not eat breakfast because it made me nauseous but now I make sure I eat. 3. Take a shower everyday... My scalp gets so oily so fast that if I don't wash it it looks like it has not been washed. 4. Drink lots of water. I try to drink 3-4 16 oz to 20 oz bottles of water a day and I have trouble with this on my off days... I don't know why, I just forget to drink but I need to find a way to remind myself. 5. Make time for myself. With dealing with so much, taking time to just be with myself helps keep me sane. 6. Making sure I take all my medicines. I take meds to help balance my hormones because if they go out of wack, my body does too. 7. Be kind to everyone because you never know what someone is going through and kindness and a smile can go a long way. Tina... Thank you for reminding me about that! I really needed this vlog. Btw, that surf session looked so fun! I am so glad you were able to enjoy yourself! You look like you are feeling so much better. I am happy you do. I like the idea of writing your goals down. Maybe I should try that! If anything on my list might help you, then it is all yours to use! I hope you have a good day and enjoy yourself!
Great info. I have that same issue with distraction from goals. The best thing I’ve learned is to write goals/to dos down the night before. I call it get your “tomorrow” organized. When you get up your ready to go. Start with the toughest goals first and sprinkle in some easy ones to keep the momentum going! ❤🏄♂️🤙
Yay! Tina's back! Glad to see you're feeling better and your old energy & enthusiasm are back too! Funny thing about the last part of 2022 - many people I know fell a little off track too but that's all behind us! Thanks for sharing!
Yay tina!!! So happy to see another video from you!!! I can see you’ve made tons of improvements and reflected on what you should do and what is best for you from the last video!! Love you tina keep doing you!
Thank you so much for the positivity! I definitely am doing better and wouldn’t take this happier feeling for grated because being confused/negative sucks! :(
Thank you for sharing your habits and surfing. So good to see you excited and full of energy again. I am pretty bad at holding habits myself but hopefully in 2023 I will improve :)
Your surfing montages are amazing! They perfectly capture the feeling of "summer", the happiness that arises from surfing and the enjoyment from being in the ocean with friends! Keep up the good work! 🙂
So fantastic 🌸 I'll never get tired of your great intro. Also I have a PhD in optimal Health and everything you're talking about is clinically proven if you go to non-biased information sites. It's also important to realize,n sometimes our survival brain is a jerk. And we just say No to negative thoughts. Instead we focus on what's easy to appreciate right now!! Also we need to remember the importance of stress disssolving B complex vitamins. So happy you're intelligently managing your life Tina 💗
Wahini Tina - you nailed it by being a self therapist ! You NEED the hablets to KEEP structured and together since you’re NOT a 9-5! BUT dude a you totally FORGOT AVO TOAST and KATSU habits 6 and 7 !! Critical ! The glasses and casual hair rocking that look
Tina thanks for the tips. You inspired me to get back into my daily routines and good habits. The difference and positive results were immediate. Thanks for the fun videos. Aloha and mahalo
Great to see you back! That surf session looked like a ton of fun! Regarding writing things down and thinking about goals: you might want to check out a book called "Getting Things Done" by David Allen, or just read some of his articles on the web. One thing he stresses is figuring out the "next action" for any project or goal. I like his approach, because it can help you see what progress you're making toward getting something done even if you haven't completely finished it yet; it helps prevent that feeling of "I didn't do anything today".
Yay!!! I’m so happy to see a Tina video!! Love these habits! Mine are first thing (after water) drink greens, take a walk, cold plunge, meditate and nourish my body all before going to work.
Hi Tina, thanks for sharing your "top five"...and glad to see you back on top...I still think it would be awesome if you could do a type of docu-series on up-n-coming female surfers/wake/kite boarders around the islands/West coast. You totally have the personality fort it!
Happy New Year Tina and all the best for 2023, also your 5 daily hablets are great😍 Every day when I get to work the first thing I do is write down my work goals for the day, well after getting a coffee 👍😎 I just love crossing off the goals as they are completed, so satisfying 👍😄 I think it would be really hard to make it through any day without at least one goal 👆😎👆 hahaha
Steamer, neoprene hands, feet & head (30 minutes), raining sideways and just the greyest day 🤔, Tina vibes = why wouldn't I surf 😄👍 Great your back; thinking of starting professional backwards surfing series, tried forwards for years and it's so yesterday 🌊 Peace
Nailed it! I agree but the key to making time or getting motivated is part of it as well... I think that's where alot of the struggle is for me. But it's true once u start and even put the tiniest step forward daily it will help improve well being
I am so happy that you feel better. I'm glad to hear that you are going to continue your vlogs. I look forward to your Saturdays vlogs. Lots of love from BC, Canada 🇨🇦 💗
Happy New Year! Those are good tips #5 is hard to do sometimes but smile can be a goal for everyday so there should always be one goal everyone can do daily, keep smiling 🥰ALOHA!
I'm grad to see you again in your RU-vid Channel. Thank you for telling your healthy habits. Your habit is really good for your health. But they are very difficult activity for me!! You are a great woman!!
You look in fantastic shape! Love your choice of music 🎶 and your smile makes people feel good from miles away. ❤️ Everything has its place. Balance is crucial. Keep up the great work hun. Be kind ✨️ 💛 💙
1. Have you ever looked at your channel demographics? Might help with content. 2. Productive people start their day with a shower. 3. Highly productive and successful people aren’t on “island time” 4. Set long-term goals that work for you. 5. Decide what is your brand is? Is it the vlog or is it the swimwear?
Can you do a video on how you take care of such long hair when you’re in the water so much??? My hair is the same length and if I went into the water without braiding it I’d have to shave it off lol, my hair tangles sooooo bad!
Good for you Tina. Keeping my promise to watch your vlogs. Love the party wave with Jamie. Hilarious! Watched his vlog Monday as usual. Have to ask....was he mad that he waxed that brand new soft top then snapped it at Pipe minutes later?
@TinaCohen lol. It's funny to me what reality is vs what i see on video. You think he'd be upset based on the time it took to wax the thing! Still entertaining. BTW. My wife loves Blenders. She has like three pairs! Checked the website for the first time after seeing your video and whadda ya know.....there you are. Not sure what she loves about them but they keep showing up around here. Have a good rest of your week.
I have fun watching your videos and love your swimsuit line. Thank you for your Healthy Tips. You are an inspiration to many women of all ages and I admire your work.
