Soo.. I tried the ribs today and they were so good!!! The slow cooker I used was significantly smaller than the one used in this video. The only thing I did differently was take the ribs out of the slowcooker after 4 hours and then put them in the oven to broil for 25 mins. The end products was tender, fall off the bone and they had a nice color on them too.
Making the ribs already today! They look really good! When I was making the bbq sauce, it smelled so good!!! & nice & thick.. can't wait to taste them.
I just made the beef and broccoli, it was amazing!!! The only issue I had was the sauce didn't quite thicken up, had to add a 2nd batch of the corn starch/ water slurry. Other than that, perfection!
They are pretty handy. To be honest though, I think I would rather use a pressure cooker for most of those. It gets the same job done in a fraction of the time, and most decent pressure cookers have slow-cooking as a feature too, so it is win-win.
And look the "cook" that was complaining from before is no were to be found! I guess they don't want to admit that you can learn decent recipes from tasty.
By some of the questions being asked about crock-pot cooking . Tells me they don't know how to cook anything, but they do know how to make reservations ... Lol !!!
Why does the ribs look different from the ones taken out of the crockpot? The finished product looks a bit charred and it’s totally different shape/size...?
this comment section highlights what's wrong with social media. I scrolled looking for someone who actually made the recipes...all I found were stupid jokes, racist comments, and complaints from vegans. seriously folks?
It makes no sense at all to use a slow cooker for that potato and cheese soup. You have to cook part of it in a sauce pan anyway, so you'll have to pans to wash. And potatoes don't take long to cook.
Slow cook its my favorite way to cook so mostly if I making dinner I just make the dinner and slow cook it for at least 8 hours and I got dinner yay :)
CLAUDIA MORENO It's 8 on low or 4 on high. The general rule for slow cooker recipes that traditionally take a long time is cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. Don't worry about leaving it in an hour or two longer than the expected cooking time either.
In many cases it adds flavour. But... The way they used definitely defeats the purpose of a slow cooker. They just keep adding stuff during the cooking process.
jiggly puff I'm not sure the exact temperatures. On slow cookers ( Crock-Pot ) there is a heat setting for low and high. Those are the only two options
Everyone in the comments acting like the ribs were the highlight of the video. It was freaking bbq sauce seasoning and ribs yall. Ffs. Every other recipe was so much better.
It’s in the title XD. It’s called a slow cooker. Basically an electric pot that can cook at a low heat for a really long time, and turn itself off when at the set time.
