I flat ironed my 4c hair out of being bored and I wasn’t thinking and now my hair looks like you hair before I’m finna cry.

I've had natural hair for 7 years and my hair is now looking the best it's looked in years. In my experience, when you see your ends starting to split the best thing to do is be proactive and just cut them off! I think I'm finally on track to growing my hair past collar-bone length, but I'm willing to cut whenever to keep my hair thick and healthy

I finally found a natural hairstylist for my daughter and she told me what I already knew that my daughter has hair damage on some parts of her hair. My daughter has soft hair and her hair can’t handle the heat. I only let her blow it out twice and look. Smh. But she said she will get my daughters hair back on track I am glad I found your video.

I have been getting my hair to straighten since the second grade. In high school, I went through this natural phase. I would do twist out and Bantu knots. I think my hair is the most damaged it has ever been. Currently a senior in college and decide I want my curls back. I won't have any pressure to straighten my hair because know I'm just sitting inside at home. If you work out I would love to see a video on how to maintain your natural hair while working out!

Back then I always got my hair straightened at salons but I realized my hair is fried, frizzy, stiff and extremely dry now in the front part of my head not the back from years of heat a damage ....I use to have such good curly hair...

My dead ends are at the front of my head, so I don’t think I’m going to cut up, but when I do and Afro I can pin the end back into a lil slick moment and no one can tell. I’ll prob do a combination of cutting and long term results.

How do you trim your damaged hair? Cause I've never done that before and I'm afraid of making my hair more uneven. Also, some bits of my hair are heat-damaged only at the tips while other parts are damaged from close to the roots. How do I trim my hair then? I'm kinda upset cause this was my first time straightening my hair and I used a healthy amount of a Cantu heat protectant and this still happened.

I recently straightened my hair and when I washed it some of it didn't go back to curly. Most of my hair is fine its just a small section in the back and front but most of it looks fine and healthy. what should I do? ( i have 4c hair.)

Went to a Dominican salon to get my hair washed and trimmed. The lady pretty much damaged my entire hair; you can see a difference between the natural and heat damage in various areas. I'm upset that i may have to cut off my entire hair up to the new growth because every time i wash and air dry my hair, it's a very depressing sight. X.x

Okay so I've been straightening my hair for at least 3 yrs now I don't know what my curl pattern is anymore I have to put so many curling products in my hair when ever I where it out I've tried trimming but i don't know if it's actually working but these tips seem like they'll really help

Past 4-7 years my mother has damaged my hair, I’m under 15, over 10. (Won’t tell my age to the public) and need help fixing it since she wants me to learn to do my own hair and I can’t cut it. I used to wash my hair the end of every month, My hair was alrways dry, I used cantu on it and it dried in less than 2 hours, It also got horrible while I was sleep.

So after I did that, it started growing different and my best friends both have the same hair as me and they keep telling me it’s damaged. Thats insane i just came here for my daughters burned hair. And i jumped when u said ur name joi cuz my 10 yr old name is joy as well,lol. Honestly i didnt know i kept badly burning my daughters hair wit a cheap blowdryer and her hair was soooo dry n it didnt retain any moisture n in 24 hours she would have baaad dreads n i kept perming and killin it. Then durin quarantine i didnt have to do her hair 4 school and by the time she went to shool it grew 4x in lenght. But i wanted to dry her hair and after 1 blow dry i messed her ends up baaaad again. I clearly have no clue what im doing she has the puffiest 4c hair. Anyway after the blowdry i noticed the next day immediately that it felt like it did 2 years ago. Thats wen i realized it was me messing up her hair. Not that she was born with "bad hair" so mow i feel horrible but i gotta cut a lot off but i still need to fix the rest so thanks 4 the vid. Ok so i need help So last year june 29th , i decided to get remy weave installed for graduation The style required the front right half section of my hair to be parted and to be straight in order to replicate the hair that was being installed So mind you i knew nothing about heat damage at the time so i realised the front of my hair was straight after washing (when the remy was taken out) so im like oh maybe it'll turn back And it didnt So being the person that i am , who is deeply in love with my hair and doesnt want anything bad happening to it , i did my research and took it upon my self to cut some of the damaged ends off So now im looking to book an appointment to get my hair trimmed because obviously im not gonna so a big chop on one section of my head But im just worried that it wont grow back at all😫😫

What if my ends are straight and brittle and scalp is thick , can I get all my hair back thick or I have to cut it.. My hair use to be thick and long until this lady jacked it up💔💔😡
