Something I absolutely love about new Ad RU-vid is when they set up ads with grinding machines/general loud noises every 30 minutes in something that is meant for going to sleep to. The ads are at least 3x the volume as well.
I've played DND a couple times but these videos are great because your voice is either a sweet balm for sleep or something to keep in the background while going about my day.
1:36 Witch Bolt is better than you think at low levels. It does more damage than any cantrip can. And after it hits, all follow-up damage is guaranteed. You would not do nearly as much damage relying on cantrips. So I'm my mind, it is excellent when you are dealing with a long fight and are working with just one or two spell slots. In that regard, Witch Bolt is better than both Magic Missle and Chromatic Orb. Stoneskin also has uses that you don't seem to consider. For instance when used in a strategy where all damage gets cut in half several times and the rest absorbed: Warding Bond, Armour of Agathys, Blade Ward, Fire Shield, Arcane Ward, etc. In this kind of strategy, it is an excellent spell. It is typically the kind of spell that gets better when used in an ensemble.
I dont believe action surge allows you to cast fireball twice, I could be wrong in this and don't feel like actually looking it up but I believe there is a rule that you can only cast a single lvled spell in a turn.

One of the things that I've always hated about spellcasting in DnD and other similar games is the material cost for spells...what other class needs to be filthy rich to be effective in battle? Thankfully most of the DM's I've played with have pretty much house ruled those away.

I love the content of this video but I don't think I can listen to it to sleep. Either the sound quality or mic makes truly unpleasant sound? Soundwave vibration? whenever word has the "S" sound. I thought I might be able to get use to it but I'm wide awake, unable to relax. Also, I personally felt the tempo(speed of voice) on the video was really fast. My body was reacting with fast heartbeat, muscle movement, and spiked anxiety and I believe it's not what you were going for... I tried slowing down the video to .75 but it only made the matter with s sound worse. The ideal speed for me would be 43:01 . I hope one day I can fall asleep with your videos because I really like your content!
