Watch before you replace your Polaris Ranger 570 starter... and you could save $320 and a lot of time. You will need a Ratchet Wrench; here is the set I bought; amzn.to/47ttX1g
Replacing the starter in a 2014 Polaris Ranger 570 Crew. Part was only available from Polaris and ran about $400... After replacing it, I found that the actual issue was the battery not the starter... The symptoms seemed exactly like a starter issue and anytime I got the clicking I was able to tap on the starter to get it to start... Big lesson, batteries run about $80 and can be changed out in minutes... Hopefully this video will save you both time and money... Thanks for posting. Helped me out a bunch. Needed a 2nd (smaller) pair of hands several times. Not an easy task for those of us with sausage fingers.

Why is it necessary to drain the coolant before changing the starter motor on the ranger 570?

Never heard of that step... I didn't have to remove any fluids. Where did you see this step?

It's probably not necessary, but the coolant hose is in the way. Removing it makes getting to the bolts a lot easier.

Dude makes a video showing how get starter out. Proceeds to not show any tools or technique used to get bottom bolt out Actual forehead. Why even make the video at that point?

Sorry for your struggles... This video was made because there wasn't a single video available on this topic when it was made and "dude" hadn't even started a youtube channel when "dude" created it... I talked about the tools I had to use, the ratchet wrench, and that i could only get a click at a time... Clearly the camera won't fit into that spot if I could only get a click at a time... Others have had success from this so hopefully you too will find a way... Best of luck!
