@@TheRipaw4not meaning this in an insulting way, but that doesn’t say much considering the RDR2 story, side missions, and random detours are arguably what makes it such a great game. Details and graphics are just the cherries on top.
I’ve got a detail I just discovered: When using the binoculars, Arthur pushes his hat up to be able to see through them. This can be seen if you use photo mode
The rainwater drops dripping from the hat are SO small !! That’s an insane level of detail, it’s almost impossible to spot while playing unless you’re specifically looking for it
A unique detail in Red Dead Redemption 2 is the dynamic horse testicles simulation. Yes, the game developers implemented a feature where the size of a horse's testicles changes based on the in-game temperature.
Not every game though, The Witcher 3 is up to par with RDR2. Great details graphically and storywise. I used to think that The Witcher 3 is the standard for all games, until RDR2 came along. Both of them will always be the ultimate standard.
been playing this game for 1000 hours + and still find new stuff like this every day and most mind blowing was the molotow thing where molotov cocktails are so detailed if you stop time in photomode you can see the actual pieces of glass flying threw the air and as a player in real time there is no way you can see this just shows how much effort they put into the game
A cool detail in red dead redemption 2 is that if you’re drunk and try to get on your horse it will take Arthur longer to get on than usual (Edit) well thank you for making this comment reaching over 100 likes have a good day now.
I love that they added Macrochelys temminckii in the game, but I wonder do they only wonder around the swamp or do they actually do anything else besides that
The bolt action rifle has extremely sensitive controls with the trigger and bolt. You can actually step by step, slowly chamber a round, or hold the bolt open before actually pressing the trigger slightly more, and fully chambering the round. Best details ever.
@@gonzalogutierrez510that’s because the ps3/xbox 360 couldn’t handle a game the size of GTA 5 with super realistic graphics, look at how much better the graphics are on ps4 and ps5 then they were on ps3, it’s like a completely different game even though it’s not
@TheCzechLad_ I would rather have less "realistic" details than actual details that make the world realistic. There's lots of compilation showcasing just how much effort was put on IV comparing to V Better graphics don't mean the game's better.
This game is an absolute masterpiece. When Rockstar is taking 10 + years on a game, it's because they're doing everything they can to add as much detail as possible. And I as the player appreciate stuff like the rainwater dripping off the hat so very much. They don't have to add these details in order for the game to be good, but the fact that they go way out of their way to include them shows just how much love they put into their games.
When smoking when eating when doing every small shiiit.....pissed me off the ending quite a lot.....was relieving emptyig all the mag into micha's head...
Fun fact: gunslingers in the west (when using a double barrel) were often seen pulling the triggers on the double barrel like Arthur did, meanwhile farmers back then used to pull them in reverse order (back to front). This was because the gunslingers could get both shots off quicker, and the farmers didn’t want to accidentally pull both triggers.
One of my favorite but obvious details is how in single action guns you press your trigger once in the controller to fire and again to pull the hammer back just adds that extra realism to it
A unique detail i found out in my 5th playthrough is in the mission where arthur gets caught by o'driscolls in Chapter 3. When he escapes and try to aim at a person, the Recticle representing his aim is imbalanced as he is unconscious. Its really complicated to explain 😅 but it blowed my mind on how dedicated rockstar is towards its games. So hyped up for Gta 6
It's crazy how Arkham Knight and RDR2 has so much details and mysteries even after years. If you compare those two games with any other in terms in details at the very least, you'd think RDR2 and Arkham Knight is next-gen.
Actually, Arthur with TB will cough with everything he consumes, if you eat 3 or more times of some object, the game will give you the warning that the food is less effective when you are sick and Arthur will cough when consuming it everytime after it, sometime later he will gain effects from food again until you reach the limit, it's like a cycle
That raindrop part reminds me of a scene in a really good show. Boardwalk Empire You know the one I could probably quote the entier thing from memory imo "This is the only way we could have ended, isn't it" "This was your choice James" "I died in the trench, years back. Thought you knew that" "So who's gonna do it? Manny? You? Eli?" "I am" "My first time i vomited after, two days straigth, second time i didn't even think about it-" "You're so fucking stupid" "Just try to make yourself calm" "You had everything going" " Breathe Nuck" "Your whole life!" "You'll make it through. All you gotta worry about is when you run outta booze, you run outta company. Then the only person left to judge you is your-" *gunshot* "You don't know me James, you never did" "I am not, seeking, forgiveness" *gunshot*
As much as I love the attention to detail- and I’m not hating when I say this- that first one about the shotgun isn’t how that works. The front trigger is to lighten the pressure on the second trigger, to make it easier to fire in tense situations.
Interesting fact, if Arthur smokes to much with the TB mod, he can actually die if he smokes to much. He will cough like crazy, fall on the ground and have more nasty coughs, then die. So make sure you are careful using the “mod.”
Actually I suspect its the approach rockstar takes that makes them unique. Its like they spend a ton of time working on the game engine. They make it correctly simulate all the real world physics, effects. Basically implement laws of physics in their engine. Weight, mass, forces, gravity...everything. They then they just build a world on top of that and then gameplay and stories comes later on.
i also got one detail pretty good but i noticed it with john don’t know about arthur that if you dont let john sleep for two kr three days his face and eyes have dark circles and i went to barber, when selecting hairstyles, he tried to open his eyes but he was very sleepy so he couldn’t open his eyes properly and then i let him sleep and then his eyes were fully opened.
