hi, I really liked the video!! i had a question - if you're looking to go into forensic psychology you would need to do a masters in forensic psychology right? rather than a masters in clinical/professional psych? might be a dumb question haha but wasn't entirely sure

Omg no this is such a good question, I didn't even know the answer to this one! After doing a little research you can actually do a clinical pathway and then transition into forensic psychology. Here is a good resource I found that takes you through the steps ~ www.careerfaqs.com.au/careers/how-to-become-a-forensic-psychologist-in-australia. Ooo thank you for the feedback!! Can I ask what you mean by time laps? :) is this for the start of my videos? Or perhaps time stamps? Either way I think both would be great additions :)

@@yash9801 i mean like for each topic there will have this timing like for example the topic "counselling psychology" is at time 2.22 then the next topic will start at time 3.10 and so on. (by time i mean the video timing) i hope you got what i mean

Hey Delilah! Thank you for your question. I know heaps of international students who have done psychology internships and who work with me at Monash. The university is very understanding and supportive of international students in my experience. I can't speak for external jobs/organizations though.

hii i want to take psychology at uni but I'm really not that good at science - i copped a c in yr 11 science and bio in yr 12. do you think that it's a bad idea to go into psych if ur not science-oriented?? i feel like I'm not but psych still seems interesting to me 😔

Hey! I definitely know people in my course who did not do any science in high school and still did well! I think if you have good writing and critical thinking skills then you can excel :) Don't be disheartened if you don't do well in some subject in high school. I've had my fair shares of C's in high school and university :') Happens to the best of us!

Hey! Thank you soo much :) You don't need to be great at maths. I got a really bad (math methods score and I'm here HAHA! The only maths you will need is statistics, but if you pay attention in class the concepts are relatively easy to grasp :) Don't stress, you got this!

You're a young pretty girl and you got lucky because you got a lot of views on one of your videos use it sell it stop talking about yourself talk about psychology issues you will make a fortune people aren't paying for psychology they're paying for the person. Look at Katie Mortons RU-vid page when she was a young psychologist she was reading from a book getting 500000 views a video sell yourself that's all psychology is anyway no one's paying for psychology they're paying for you 👍

Thanks for your comment, Mark. I see where you're coming from, but my goal is to stay within the area of my competence. At this stage, that pertains to psychology student tips/ my experience. As I become for familiar with certain areas of psychology that I am passionate about, I will start making more content about that :)
