I just tried beating rykard using lightning aoe incantation. It does a lot of damage. But the problem is that the lava almost always cancel my animation, even with high poise. Latenna here struggles every time she nocked the arrow she was always disrupted before loosing
@@badrisnake Its always satisfying to watch Gideon get destroyed, but it is EXTRA satisfying to watch a squad of Albinaurics mercilessly spank his ass. Honestly, seems like the whole Golden Order had it coming.
@@mohammad1.45 the nerf massacred these boys they were beasts +80 level and they will still take 2/3 of your health now in 25 level they take only 1/5 of your health they got much more accurate state before the damn nerf now they feel like a bubbles and done trivial damage
Its a nice little nod that they let her onto certain wolves in the world but definitely a missed opportunity not letting her +10 summon a wolf like the nights cavalry so with horses
1 minute in and I could tell these guys had a chance against Malenia. They move fast, have range and high dps, most importantly they keep away from her.
Even more importantly, their good bois can breathe frost which happens to knock Malenia out of Watefowl Dance, rendering her lifesteal all but useless.
Fire giant can’t even beat 1. I tried the glitch yesterday and it still works 😂 Run up to him and go to the right. Wait until he is close and jump down the platform. Then he is stuck. Summon her out of range of his attacks and he dies within a few minutes. You need to do the same for the 2nd phase.
OMfriggin'G, those guys were fierce and smart. This is one of the best if not the best boss battles I've ever seen. I've never seen bosses taken down so fast before. Poor Elden Beast didn't even have a chance to swim away and rise to safety in the air. It was just arrows after arrows after arrows. Deadly....Mounted archers with super bows and arrows. Plus the wolves themselves attacking too. And all attacks swift and deadly. Smart....They don't stay in one cluster to get clobbered in one fell swoop as most others do. From the get go they break formation to surround the enemies from all angles thereby preserving life while at the same time attacking non-stop. Best warriors so far IMO. They get 10/10.

I'm calling them undefeated since it wasn't Rykard that beat them but his silly lava puddle the AI just can't seem to stay out of. Lol. Take that lava away and they starched the whole Roster.
That Lava is part of Rykard, that would be like taking away DD from Maliketh or life heal from Malenia. And the lava isn't even that good, it deals almost no damage. What really saved Rykard was the lack of poise damage from the arrows. Rykard's main weakness is his low poise, but the magic arrows don't do much poise damage so he was able to attack.
Agree with @Pink Villa Fantasy on all of their points. To add on, the lava disappears when Rykard dies further showing that it’s a part of him and/or his magic. I mean the guy developed lava sorceries.
@@Axfx11 Yeah when Rykard/God snake, moves around the lava puddle follows him suggesting that it is either oozing out of his body or oozing out of the ground right below him, but it only comes out wherever he stands.
The lava interrupts their attacks. Forcing them to not attack as often. If the AI was smart enough to not walk into it with a ranged-based character, Rykard 100% gets smoked.
And didn't mean to upset the lore lovers. I should have said "take away the lava [damage] and they starched the whole roster." Could've saved you some typing time in the comments. Lol.
What in the actual fresh hell.. they are so powerful and well coordinated they actually managed to take down the Fire Giant and Malenia!!! This was very impressive, and a great watch! Never seen any other broken enemy pull these many wins!! Loved this video!❤❤
Exactly as she should… Idk why people are saying “so boring no bosses won” blah blah when Rykard won and hes my favorite boss plus who wants to see Malenia win over and over again??
Even the stationary gun Latenna is really good against several bosses: the Fire Giant, Placidusax, Malliketh, Astel, most of the tree sentinels, the Godskin Apostle, Mohg, the Ancestor Spirits. If you can find either a protected perch to shoot from, or have a large arena where you can leave her while you draw aggro, she tears them to pieces and makes poise breaks easy.
Holy shit, these Albanauric women were a pain in the ass in the snow lands especially since i had to farm to get their bow. But i didnt know they'd be this destructive with only 5 of them they're practically unstoppable if they're able to be mobile. After watching tons of these vs videos I dont think ive ever seen Melania actually loose before
pause at 10:34 Malenia has like a shit ton (yeah, that's like a real and valid measurement unit on this video context) of arrows stuck on all her body.
The Lobos AI is pretty good where they split into squads of 1s, 2s and 3s, dodge and close-quarters combat where the Latennas provide range attacks. Except for the Rykard fight where the Lobo AI failed because it's not aware of Latennas' range (no AI cooperation between them it seems).

@@ShillienKnight90 Yeah, the passive lava damage carried Rykard hard in the fight. Would have lost badly, even with his massive HP pool, if it wasn't for the environmental hazard.
@@ShillienKnight90It was still close. He just barely won. In that fight they weren't as mobil as they were in some of the other ones. They also got close to him for some reason so they were almost constantly in the lava.
The way they always split away was crucial. Don't know why they lost against Rykard. That one was given to them but for some reason they got dumb against him. As soon as I saw Placidusax fall that bad I knew those Duddettes where gonna kill everyone, even Malenia, Godfrey and Elden Beast.

Doesn't Malenia have low Poise also? Actually looked like they knocked her out of Waterfowl Dance during phase 1. Anyhow the issue with the lava isn't really the damage, but it also cancels attack animations (or something similar, at least in the first playthrough of a playthrough), preventing the Latennas in the lava from actually attacking and cranking that poise up enough to win.
@@ToxicTaka If you freeze or bleed Malenia while she waterfowl dances, it will stop her waterfowl dance attack. The player can do this too, when she leaps into the air, throw a frostbite pot or quickly spam rivers of blood to bleed burst her, and she will be knocked out of the sky. Has nothing to do with her poise. Latenna didn't poise break Maliketh or Astel who also have low poise, because those magic arrows don't deal much poise damage. This allowed Rykard (who is always instantly poise broken by any attack) to unleash several strong attacks, the snake's spinning AOE 6:25 cut their hps in half. And then the heavy sword swipe 7:33 took the rest of them out mind you they weren't even standing in lava when he did that attack. If Rykard was poise broken early on (as he often does) he would have died right away, the lava would have done nothing for him.
@@ayllien7266 That's honestly an advantage to Rykard. Most of his losses in Boss vs Boss videos are because his attacks don't damage things close to him.
Out of all the ones I've seen so far, if I had to get stuck in this Elden Ring universe, I'd pick this Legolas On A Wolf team and be very happy with my choice.
My favorite thing is the good bois breath and their arrows! They can change direction after firing, which helps them don't go in vain and hit the bosses in their phase change
Radhan should have been as hard as malenia, but as an early access end boss, like a heavy blocker to continue on optional story (ranni) not a weak random boss
To everyone saying 5 was overkill, I want the next video to be a ROTTEN TREE SPIRIT AND an ulcerated tree spirit vs bosses, now THAT would be overkill!
