The Crucible was a powerful force, that is the reason why the Greater Will completely marginalized the omens, because they had crucible aspects, being Mohg and Morgott the best examples, Mohg with his wings and Morgott with his tail, just like those from the crucible knights

I hated having to fight them, but I mad respect their skills--they're tactically very smart, have incredible poise, and have these tanky shields that diminish most incants and spells you throw at them. And their armor set is primo badass. They're very dominating against most humanoid enemies, but the problem is when they face giant monstrous enemies with huge AOE attacks, their speed is a negative against them. If they were able to spam their winged incantations more often to dodge the AOE attacks , they probably could take down most giant enemies.

@daeryxaqueryx Mad respect for a Crucible Knight appearing right near the start of the game when virtually no-one will be able to beat it? It's considered skilled when a boss reads your controller input, doesn't have a stamina bar and moves straight from one attack to another in a way the player can't? In that case this is the best boss ever.

@@adammclaughlin845that's how boss AI works lmao,almost every enemy reads your controller input and also i didn't find crucible knight unbeatable at the start,maybe you're just bad at the game?

Shield runs are hella fun

Did a run with Brass shield + guardian swordspear for aesthetics and with that build Radagon was super fun, trading guard counters back and forth n all that

It is not impressive lol. She barely lived, without her Regen bs she woulda died first thing. All the crucible knights have is their weapon, their poise. And their rarely used incantations

You get to fight two in a tomb. Super frustrating even with the best summons.

Jesus, I remember spending hours over several gaming sessions getting through the Aurizia tomb, dodging those hell-forsaken chariots and then having to fight these two chad units at the end. It was so effing exhausting and infuriating that after I finally defeated them, I had my character slowly walk outside the tomb entrance, sit down at the edge of a cliff, and just stare mindlessly at the scenery for about ten minutes. It was THAT mentally taxing.

Yeah, but imagine wanting to kill everything on sight and die to a golden eyed one. I think they drop about 3 or 5k in farum azula, so imagine about 18 to 25k from one dude

Totally agree, they’re not two separate bosses, splitting them up would be like splitting up God Devouring Serpent and Rykard

Personally I’d have preferred second phase radagon which could of been queen marika but from a lore prospective the Elden beast is cool

​@@ghostlyswat12What if we still had the elden beast fight, the only difference is that the beast is emerging out of the cracked body of radagon and both are acting on their own. Kind of like the Twin Princes in dark souls 3, radagon does the melee and the elden beast does the ranged while still keeping radagons ranged abilities, parry and grab.

Yep, these ones do appear to be the Farum Azula ones and you'd be correct in thinking that they're stronger than the regular ones because (outside of bosses) they have about 1.85x the HP of the next regular Crucible Knight you can find (the Leyndell ones) at 5,512 HP compared to 3,000 HP. Can't speak on their damage, but it's also a fair bit higher iirc.

@@ThatGuyOrby the damage seems way higher than the hero grave ones, mainly cause they are scaled for end game also
