John McArthur lives in the same house for over 30 years. He raised his children in that house. He is very generous but he just doesn’t say anything about it because he wants his rewards from God. His car is over 20 years old. A car dealership allows 5 preachers, with McArthur being one of them, to use a car. Yes. He has invested for retirement. I believe he has always understood that every dollar is Gods and he is very careful about spending. If everyone had done that we’d be in much better shape in our country. He doesn’t ask people for money promising they will receive 10 fold or healing. The last is what prosperity preachers do to people who don’t have any money. They push them to charge it; to pay them instead of rent or bills. I’ve NEVER have heard JMac say anything even close to this. He is NOT A PROSPERITY PREACHER!!! He is a Biblical teacher and it is very hard to find many these days. He doesn’t “tickle ears” or avoid any scriptures. If you don’t like what he claims then you are disagreeing with God!!! He goes STRICTLY by SCRIPTURE!! I thank God for Him!!

Its so funny how some are busy bashing instead of listening to the message preached indeed its speaks how the man is preaching the truth found in scripture that makes people hate him.
Great truth regarding what's actually IN the bible which is the first step needed to find the way of salvation by Jesus who is the Way the Truth and the Life. God works through sinners hearing his life changing WORD.
Our Lord said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?' Then, I will declare to them solemnly, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU. Depart from Me, you evil doers (Matt 7:21-23). To whom Our Lord speaks the above? Our Lord KNOWS sheep in His Only Fold and saves them (John 10:14-16, 27-28). His Holy Sheepfold is His Church founded on the Apostles (Rev 21:14) with St. Peter as His Vicar (Pope) on earth (Matt 16:18-19) and sent them to baptize and teach all nations to observe ALL that He commanded (Matt 28:20) for salvation of their souls. Our Lord said, "Whoever listens to you, listens to Me. Whoever rejects you, rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16; John 13:20; Matt 10:40)," and "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved and he that believes not shall be condemned (Mark 16: 15-16). Our Lord's words in Matt 7:21-23 are to those protestant pastors, who teach partial truth (taken from the Bible to deceive unsuspecting souls) mixed with heresies and lies (to lead souls to where their master is). Protestant churches reject the Catholic Church, Our Lord's Body and Bride whom He saves (Eph 5:23) and thereby reject Christ, the Head of His Church (Eph 5:23). They did not even exist until Luther founded his in year 1524, followed by Henry VIII in year 1534, and so on. Brothers and sisters who unknowingly follow these false ones, who work against Our Lord, do you think that people lived before Luther were all deceived and lost their salvation? Can His Church, the Only Divine Institution with whom God remains always until the end of the world (Matt 28:20), fail to fulfill the mission given Her? She will never fail as 'the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her (Matt 16:18).' Open your eyes and understand the Truth! And come quickly to Our Lord's Only Sheepfold before it is too late (for the Antichrist's reign of terror is at our doors now) so that you may hear His Voice, know and follow Him and be saved by Him (John 10:27-28). Amen!
I loved his message. I agree with his respect for the bible. But John, please repent of your poor treatment of Eileen Grey. She did not deserve that misuse of church discipline. She was protecting her children. And she was within a biblically permissible cause for divorce.
