Its neat how viewing things like a child would helps lighten the heaviness of responsibilities and making decisions becomes easier. I often find myself smiling when in child mode. It causes an internal giddiness because you realize just how much of the world doesn't require your attention as much as we thought. How keeping things simple is freeing. How the mind clears when you do a good thing for someone. It takes practice, yes it does. But when it clicks, add it to your internal file box. Thank you Todd for your wisdom and calm. You bring a burst of fresh air with every video.

There is nothing more painful than the experience of being trapped in time and we can escape this experience of entrapment in only two ways ; by keeping busy with nonessential superficialities or by letting go of the past. The first way does not lead us to wisdom and enlightment but only endless anxiety. The second way, letting go, is the path to liberation and higher knowledge - even God-consciousness.

Everything is as it's supposed to be. I can't grasp that with all the evil going on - especially the shit that "good" people do daily and discount. I want to believe what you're saying but I'm constantly depressed about it. We collectively torture animals and get upset at someone beating their dog. We fight wars for cruel causes but arrest the murderer. I don't get how to be ok with humanity

This is an excellent video. After reading the New testament of the Christian Bible I have left Christianity. Their interpretation of what Jesus was teaching is all wrong . Jesus and Buddha had the same message. It was just 500 years apart and was presented in a different way and language . Jesus was actually a Buddhist.

Thank you. I needed this. I’m trying to accept that my mom had a stroke and I can’t make it ok or make her who she was. I know I can just do my best to accept and do what I can to support her. I hear all of your words.I do and I know them to be true. I’m having trouble releasing the deep pain and grief I feel in my heart. I want peace and joy for my mom. I’m open to suggestions from those who might hear me. Thank you. 🙏❤️
