I haven't yet watched the video but excited to comment before hand and say I'll be back in September! I missed a lot of time with my kids so I wanted to make it up to them before they go into school full time after the summer holidays! I came back a few month ago but I just felt selfish as RU-vid does take up a lot of time, editing is the important part for me as fun in games come natural so the editing side takes so long I'll be zoned in for days at end trying to finish up a video! Anyways, love you all, especially Zues, miss the community more than ever and excited to come back full time! -ChaBoyy
iNoToRiOuS's parody videos were some of the funniest shit i've ever watched. The rewatchability on them is beyond great and I can always depend on a few of his jokes to lighten up my day. Sad that he's gone.
same goes for raccooneggs but obviously those arent parodies of anything. i just find myself going back to them to laugh at the horrible (and probably cancellable) jokes for hours on end
I think racc is another honorable mention. He was such an incredibly funny guy and didn't try to force comedy. As soon as he felt it needed to get forced to work, he left. He said he's been moving around apartments and shit because of his allergies last I heard. What a chad.
I watched the rise of Inotorious, Fitz and Swagger, I remember being so pumped when they started making videos together as well I watched them all the way up to the point where they moved in with eachother and i think at that point their csgo videos started feeling forced, like they would rather be doing something else and like the csgo videos were just being made so they wouldn't get criticism from the audience I haven't watched them in a while and now I see that Fitz really didn't enjoy making the csgo videos anymore, so it looks like my gut feeling was correct But I'm glad they found something else they enjoy, and I'm happy they found success in what they do
Damn this video was a blast to the past. Watched all these guys. Miss cha tho found him through csgo but remember loving his Battlefield videos the most
I liked him until he started doing so many gambling sponsorships after talking so much trash about them. Then he started making clickbaity videos that were pretty mediocre and unfunny
I found Fitz when I was falling into depression. He made me laugh and I loved him. Honestly I got into csgo because of him. When he stopped uploading, my depression was finally under control so even though I was sad, but I was thankful for the moments he uploaded.
i remember watching pretty much all of these channels back in 2016 or something... honestly i don't miss them too much (except Fitz), looking at it now their content wasn't too good imo - it felt a bit forced more or less, it felt like they did CS videos for the sake of the views the only one i watched back then who is doing CS:GO videos to this day is Anomaly and i'm happy it seems like he isn't going anywhere
This guys voice is so weird, he randomly pauses before gateway words like (And, If, then, but) Makes his content so hard to listen to even though the content is good.
21:49 I think the video they're talking about is called "BEST CS:GO SURFER IN THE WORLD" Holy fuck I cry to this day watching that video, it deserves to be in the history books..
I used to watch SkinFreak and Inotorious. SkinFreak content at first was alright and the beef he had with McSkillet was really funny and entertaining. After that, he suddenly started making terrible videos (sketches with his friends + corny vlogs) and changed his name I believe at one point to then go back to be SkinFreak again but it wasn't the same and then he stopped uploading content and I unsubbed. On the other hand, Inotorious content was pretty good and I always looked forward for his uploads. It's a shame that he stopped creating content. Now, he has other priorities.
I remember seeing iNotorious back on bf4 a few months ago. He was really good with a knife. I didn't interact with him too much other than a couple comments on how he played but he was pretty cool
fitz's gang was honestly one of the best times in csgo. they didn't give a fuck about blurring profanity, etc & it was fucking hilarious. imo ainsley videos reign supreme
I disagree. I would argue GoldGlove got alot of his limelight/INITIAL growth, from DayZ. Now, keep in mine, when I say, 'popular CSGO wave.' I am referring to, that time period where basically every Ytuber was doing CSGO videos, or betting videos. (I hope you know what I mean) However, I want to disagree with you on the point of GoldGlove. Before the 'massive popularity wave' of csgo, DayZ mod and DayZ standalone, had their own respective, mass influx of content creator popularity periods. and I argue, his growth spiked with DayZ, as there were several periods of time. I don't have the exact data to back this up, but from what I've seen, regarding old fans, reminiscing over GoldGloves DayZ videos, and the RARE DayZ video upload from GoldGlove, recieving ALOT of nostalgic comments from old viewers, safe to assume, GoldGloves growth and 'boom' was because of DayZ.
All youtubers will end, everyone has a peak (that I actually believe anyone can get to). Relevance is only temporary, but you can die as a legend or as a temporary hyped person/channel (example takashi 69 XD)
My god. I remember GoldGlove from my old youtube days. He used to play prop hunt with SeaNanners. I wondered where he went, but I think he moved to twitch?
24:00 To be fair, if I was already a multimillionaire, I wouldn't want to put any more effort into making videos either. He probably has more than enough money to live happily off of for the rest of his life, and that's not even including the money he makes from residual views and from The Misfits, so I don't blame him whatsoever for stopping his uploads.
GoldGlove is super cool. Used to watch his Gears videos all the time. Fun fact, he actually was just recently featured in a State Farm commercial dunking on an NBA player.
GoldGlove and CreatureHub (Kootra and UberHaxorNova) were the SHIT when it came to youtube CSGO videos. Younger audience that started watching youtube back in 2018,2019,... don't understand the meta of videos that was popular back then... and oh my were those videos so good I still go back and watch them sometimes.
Great video as always dude, I remember some of these guys =) 1 of my fav CS "content creators" back in the day was Cro_ lol that guy was a legend and really loved the COBBLESTONE! :D
22:59 either he worded it badly or you did. He said that people didn’t watch his content for csgo, but for their humor and comedy (them being misfits). You came to the same conclusion.
We all had a generally negative view of him, but can't help but wonder. What happened to LeafyIsHere? That kid was so controversial, and was basically DramaAlert before DramaAlert, but he just, kinda disapeared. I can't even remember what controversy killed him, but I remember like once a month there was always a new controversy that centered around him.
lmao at goldglove being an OG CSGO RU-vidr. I watched him for years and totally forgot that he ever played cs. I remember his girlfriend gave him an FN Dragon Lore for his birthday one year lmoa, i wonder if he's still got it.
I miss fitz. When I very first started playing csgo I was in a deathmatch game with him. Didn't make it into a video (probs because my mic made me sound like I was in an areoplane) but still cool.
You're absolutely correct about Fitz, I even watched & enjoyed their god damn Fortnite funny moments videos. Fortnite. That game is as shit as it gets.
Hey hezeus i just unboxed a ursus damaskus Steel FT but i dont know how to do anything tradeing. Im just wonder if you would like to buy it or help me sell it
these big content creators make thousands of dollars without paying taxes and u saying they need money to feed family ? literally shroud rich af and a pro player and anomalyis rich too yet they accepted , its matter of if u care about ur community is when u dont accept all of the youtubers that accept gambling sites sponsers are shame to have their community
