Well. Now I gotta get me a darbuka! I've been practicing the Maqsoum family -- Baladi, Saidi, Maqsoum. Now I'm totally hot for Ayube, Malfouf, Masmoudi, Karsilama! So fun!!!

I love your video, and really appreciate your taking time to make it. Sadly, I am not rhythmic nor coordinated in any way and, while I enjoyed listening, I got lost in all the riffing you guys were doing in addition to the basic dum-teks. (Yes, I did hear Christine chanting the beats, but for some reason my ear was tuned to the drums, not her voice.) This is the first such instructional video I have watched, so perhaps you have some others that are simpler. I'll check. Thanks again!
