Awesome solution. I was gonna find some sort of a bigger lag screw at the hardware. This is a way better solution than that and waaaay better than $180 for a new inner cover. Thanks for posting.

So just to be clear you remove the insert the brass insert and just use the screw to bite the plastic correct?

@@ryanbender8154 Mine doesn’t have a brass insert. It threads right into the plastic of the inner clutch housing.

Thank you for idea found 1/4 in tapcon screws and had same head size and could go up to 5/16 easy
