Howie Mandel is a Canadian comedian, actor, and television host, best known for his role as a judge on the reality show America's Got Talent and for hosting the game show Deal or No Deal. Born on November 29, 1955, in Toronto, Mandel started his career as a stand-up comedian before moving into acting, where he gained fame with his role on the medical drama St. Elsewhere. He is also known for his distinctive voice work as the character Gizmo in Gremlins and as the creator and voice of Bobby in the animated series Bobby's World.
