I'm sorry man, but can you people lay off the pressure and actually let him play an NHL game before assuming he will be one of the goats? Everyone knows the NHL is an ENTIRELY different league than any other. You can spit on people in any other league and just get shut completely down in NHL. Give him a few seasons in the NHL man. You won't even really know his potential until then.

Clearly some of you boys never watched Gretzky or Hull lol. He’s way more dynamic than Ovie, at least in juniors so far. Ovie is a stud, but he’s not consistently putting up as many or more assists as he puts up goals.

@@fantasma6340 His game is more dynamic than Matthews. Bedard is a smaller version of McDavid with a better shot, and might not be as fast North to south as McDavid , but he’s a better/smoother skater which is crazy because McDavid is obviously one hell of a skater.

@@AshtrayAnnie I feel like you have a decent argument even though Esposito wasn't drafted, but Orr revolutionized the game more than Esposito, and Orr wasn't drafted either... Neither were Howe and Richard for that matter... The Bruins had an eye on Orr since he was like 14... LaFleur was the "talent" of the 70's while Esposito debuted in 1963 and didn't become dominate until 68-69... Esposito had his then record breaking 76 goal and 152 point season in 1971 while Orr had 139 points that season as a d-man... LaFleur was a rookie that season. LaFleur was "the" player of the 70's while Orr certainly overshadowed Esposito... Gretzky came in 1979 and completely blew what LaFleur did out of the water. LaFleur also had Marcel Dionne as a rival in 70's too, but he never won a cup...

Cause there’s nothing Lafleur did that Esposito already hadn’t done. I always seen Esposito as a 70s guy too. But you’re right, he did come in 63 so it’s hard to make the argument for the case of the whole every 5-10yr thing of a new star shining.

the flex gives him more snap on the shot which gives it more speed.

@@AWCTB A lot of it is for the reach. It helps big time on the defensive side of the game. Stealing pucks in the middle of a pass, poke checks, etc. If he was worried about the flex he could just get a junior flex and then still cut it down and it would be closer to an intermediate, which is still has a ton of flex. He’s 180lbs which is actually pretty much average for the NHL already so I don’t see why he would be worried about losing much flex with a junior F.

I think it is the blade actually. I am pretty sure I seen the stick he uses in a store once and the blade is mutant.
