Totally agree. My dream as a 10 year old was modest: To write a book, cut a record, and work in some form of social care. I’m almost 60 and I have had two books published, sung on a few released recordings, and I currently work for a supported housing charity for people with addiction issues… I made it my responsibility to make my dreams real, however modest they were.
Chefs give their everything to get Michelin stars. Marco, on the other, returned all his Michelin stars. Reason - He said they don't know about food more than me.
And that’s how one becomes an award winning culinary talent. By having a sense of duty to follow your dream. Never unwinding and leaving no stock pot unturned. Very simple and your choice.
@@CooManTunes he literally learnt that mean side from marco. Marco was a fucking asshole by all accounts. Good chef, but terrible to work for. And I would say out of the kitchen their both pretty sound lads
Was this an advert for India? I'm sold. And I agree. Another amazing thing about Indian cuisine. When people find veganism daunting, I always say, just eat Indian. Problem solved. The removal of animal products (eg bean curry) in no way leaves the meal feeling diminished or "fake". Indeed, Indian flavour is driven by their use of plants (spices).
We understand your feelings, more is less listening to this gentleman talk. But our series is called '5 minutes with..', we were lucky to spend 5 minutes with him.
@@lifestyleasiaindia1685 oh I’m sure. Even if you had an hour with him it wouldn’t be enough for me. I just love hearing him speak and could listen all day! Thanks for the video, I very much enjoyed it!
Marco is the only man that could get me to start cooking . And to love it. I hated cooking . It’s a passion now. Marco Pierre White is the goat. If you disagree, you just know better .
I love the comments about a good meal. I’m a good home cook always striving to put good meals on the table and while I’ll never come close to MPW in skill, I share his attitude. Generosity is a key ingredient. I tell my children that food is an expression of love. Don’t approach it as a chore. Make your food with gratitude and love for those with whom you’re dining. Memorable meals will result.
You dont need to put the questions up as text (although this is better than hearing a voice ask the question). Through Marco's answers, we can tell what the question is. These are the type of interviews I like best. One where the subject is simply talking and we hear their answers and get the information. We dont need to know what the questions are - that is inferred when the interview and editing is done properly. But it's your choice.
There’s no real recipe to making a 5 minute video. Sometimes it’s 3 minutes. Sometimes it’s 5. Sometimes it’s 7. It depends on the quality of your video.
