Thank you for your transparency. I have my tester locs and I will be getting my locs installed at the end of July!! I'm so excited and scared at the same time. I was contemplating wearing a wig. Because of being afraid of how my hair would look in the beginning. But this is quite an investment and I have to embrace my new look and my new beginning before anyone else!! ♥

Great convo. I can't believe that we are still calling hair unprofessional. The first day I wasn't feeling the scalpiness but within 24 hours I was good. I'm actually enjoying this phase two weeks in because I know my tiny baby locks will swell amd change and I will never have this phase again. It kind of helps that my self-confidence is through the roof and I think I'd be cure bald lol. I really hope the magic number is not real because it is absolutely unrealistic. One size does not fit all.
Beautiful locs❤ Question to anyone that's willing to answer. Thanks... I suffer from epilepsy, and I get random EEG test done. Would it be a bad idea to start a sisterlock journey? 🤔
Thank you! I did some research on EEG and the equipment used. Correct me if I’m wrong, an EEG procedure consists of a wire helmet of some sort. Based on my research it seems there are different machines used, so I recommend protecting your locs by using a hairnet. Just a recommendation, someone else could this post and recommend something different, however, if you are considering Sisterlocks reach out to a consultant in your area and schedule your consultation and bring your questions.
