5 MORE Exclusive PS3 Games Abandoned By Sony (Gameplay and Unboxing). 

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your excellent profile on all these exceptional PS3 exclusives! Not just this follow up video, but the first one you covered on these fantastic Sony exclusives! I gave both a enthusiastic like & instantly subbed to see & hear more, terrific work my friend!

I forgot to mention how much I appreciated you championing the total hidden gem & underdog "Twisted Metal" reboot on PS3. I broke down & got a new PS3 Slim just to play "Twisted Metal", just like I did in 1995 with my first Playstation tall-box game, "Twisted Metal" & later bought my first PS2 just to savor "Twisted Metal Black"! I would recommend just playing the completely customizable "Challenge Mode" in the PS3 game, you can choose the level, enemies, number of enemies & weapons, with side kicks. That way you can play individual levels to your liking, just like in the first two games in the series or like within "TM Black"! Anyway, loved the video & a well laid out fun factor for each game mentioned!

This reminded me that Killzone 3 was a major improvement from part 2.

Me and My Girlfriend Love playing through the Co-op mode (resistance 2) its tough two people but we take on that challenge wish the game was still online. Resistance 3 was a blast the campaign I've played through it with many friends. Killzone 3 my favourite. Resistance my favourite series

Really enjoyed both of your PS3 Stuck games video. I played a ton of PS2, although not some of the standouts evidentially, at that time. I loved my PS3 too. I have expanded my collection but have less time to play now so your curation helps. I worked at GameStop late in the PS3 lifecycle and always enjoyed hyping the latest and greatest games as they were being released. I cannot tell you how many times I said, "no that Last of Us demo features gameplay not cinematics!" I am looking forward to watching some of your stuck on Xbox videos too. I am a newbie to Xbox and am exploring Hidden Gems from the OG, the 360 and even modern stuff albeit on XB1 not a series yet... Thanks for your videos, Great Gaming!

I really hope we get Resistance and Killzone make a return with new installments.

Man, really wish Insomniac would bring the Resistance franchise back. Either a reboot or sequel, but, you know, with a fresh coat of paint overall. I do miss those alien designs

Great videos! Pacific Rift is my personal favorite of the Motorstorm titles. Also, the inFamous series is glaringly missing from your lists. Sony needs to remaster all of these!

thanks. Solid work. The 2 PS3 exclusives in my collection, which i personally rate the highest are: *ICO* (crazy this never received a PS4/PS5 remaster) *Afrika* (obviously unique, cameras & jeeps, instead of guns)

I don't think Motorstorm Apocalypse is much like other racing games. In fact it's completely unique. The only game that comes close is Split Second: Velocity and even that game plays completely different (it emphasizes more on drifting and using power-ups). If you prefer the original motorstorm, than I think you'll enjoy Motorstorm Pacific Rift a lot more. Pacific Rift is gameplay wise much like the first one (maybe a little more fast paced), only this time you're not racing in the desert, but on an island. It keeps the memorable music. They also added more maps, dangerous enviroments (especially lava), ramming (offensive manoeuvres) and monster trucks. Btw it's no where noob-friendly.

I just barely got my hands on a PS3 Slim and a small collection of games from a Co-Worker, so your videos have been very helpful in deciding which games I need to get my hands on and play. Keep up the great content.

Resistance was so good

KILLZONE 2 had the best campaign but Killzone 3 had the best multiplayer.

What Sony and the other companies who made these games should do is make Master Chief Collection style bundles of their older games with various quality of life improvements like bug fixes, modernized controls, restored online multiplayer, and other stuff like that for PS5/PC (I’ve been wanting to play Sony’s “Halo Killers” for a while now. Although, we all know the true Halo Killer was itself under 343. Fortunately, MCC is on Steam and mods will be able to keep those games alive). That way those games could be made accessible to more people, be preserved, and a great way to see if there’s enough demand for new entries. Thankfully, even if that doesn’t happen we can still emulate those games. From what I’ve heard a lot of the rough edges in Resistance 2/3 come from issues during development. For 2 Insomniac were mostly focused on a Ratchet and Clank game, and apparently 3 has a similar story. Definitely, explains why the final boss in 2 is pretty jank. I’ve also heard that the game was supposed to be longer/grander in scope, and they also originally wanted it to have the weapon wheel. For multiplayer/co-op that works, but the main campaign should’ve had the weapon wheel. 2/3 also should’ve had vehicle sections (a big chunk of what made Halo so popular is the way Bungie did a great job of having a mix of on foot and vehicle sections that were naturally woven together. Those did a great job of giving the illusion that battles were bigger than they were, and it varied up the gameplay). Also, there’s two books set in the Resistance world. One between FOM and 2, and the other is set between 2 and 3. Haven’t read either, still need to get around to playing through the series (I’ve watched some play throughs and interacted with the community so I know a decent amount about them, but still need the first hand experience). It’s really interesting how drastically different each of the games is. I’ve heard that part of the reason why it didn’t catch on the way other titles did is because the gameplay wasn’t consistent between titles, and since there wasn’t really a recognizable main protagonist for people to get attached to.

Been thinking about buying a PS3, I guess I have more of reason to get one now.

loved and completed the 1st motorstorm, liked but ragequitted the 2nd one (pacific storm's AI gets painfully difficult and cheaty in later chapters, guys on the internet half-jokingly say that it's more challenging than dark souls)

Resistance 3 is very nearly a perfect game... It just needs a stable framerate...
