The more I watch your videos the more I wish I had a dealer like you close by that had multiple brands of tractors that I could try and doesn't really care which brand I buy etc. I'm in the market for a 25-35hp tractor and having never owned one, I don't know what I need or want, and the K or JD dealer is just going to try to put me in the most expensive tractor my budget allows for.
Seeing this video prompted me to drag out the manual for my 26 year old Kubota loader and, as I suspected, Kubota shows a diagram of the "corner features" of the loader control. Left and forward is down and roll back, right and forward is down and dump and, right and back is up and dump. Kubota for the win! 😎

Thanks for all the great videos! Here's one that I didnt see in the manual... I've got the Gen2 2025r. There's a little thumbs crew under the armrests to adjust the height.
OMG these videos are great! Thanks you so much for pointing out the float. I have a 3rd function on my 4320 and it was clicking in when I pushed it all the way and thought something was messed up! I was using it for my hydraulic chute control on my snowblower.
the two loader function at the same time is pretty tough on my 1025R, got a chance to try out my friend's 2038R, HUGE difference. Much easier to lift and roll at the same time. also, have to admit, it took me 9 years to figure out that those were extra shear pins on my 47 inch blower.
Another good informational video. Got to bucket size when ordering the tooth bar, and remembered they came yesterday to take my 1025R to the shop to put on the bucket and mower after dropping off my F-910. I figure it's a typical bucket, but it would be my luck it's different. Any way, when it returns I have stuff to order. :)
Wish you guys had a place closer to Pittsburgh. Our dealer around here is kind of blah with the subcompacts and service. I think they just care about selling units.
Pretty sure we’re gonna have to get you a RU-vid Grammy or something lol. I own the other orange tractor ( Kioti CS2210) which I love. Just proves how good the channel is when I don’t own either brand you sell or talk about. As always keep up the good work entertaining us through these trying times.
Those are some good tips! I am glad to see that you mentioned the storage eyelets on the loader for the quick attach pins. I need to stop watching these newer videos because that wood chipper lights my face up. However my two year old enjoys watching your videos so we will be tuning in. 🙂
There is always ALWAYS at least one hidden grease fitting that doesn’t get greased. JD joystick is much faster than twin stick functions of CAT of years past. Dual function is a huge plus for productivity. Smaller outside tires on Dually tires helps with turning on hard ground and comes into contact on softer ground. Something we use to do with 4x4 ATVs for hunting.
I checked my 3 pt hitch for the float function you mentioned last video and again here. 2019 1025R...mine does not have that feature. It's bolted on with chains to helo side sway. I wish I had the function though. Thanks for your help and I'll try to keep commenting. Like your vids alot.
1 good PC of advice that sub compact that.u sell alot of. Is that your bottom should have a protective guard against limbs that get shoved into the plastic fans because they are low to the ground . Respect miket
Do you do any reports on the jd3038 bought one in 2019 and are the hydraulic s stronger on the 3 series r models and when does the turbo work on the 3038 and come up with where to store chains and shop hammer thanks and keep on doin what y’all do
Thankya for the video. I have 3 questions for ya. 1.) What kind of cab is on that 1025R tractor behind ya & where did ya find it? 2.) How do those fancier style, ribbed lugged, tires, work better for ya in the snow, mud, & regular dry ground surfaces? The tires you now have on your duel wheels? 3.) Where did ya find those mirrors??? I have an 8" inch, round concave, spot mirror from a semi truck mounted on my left side, but i would like to put on some regular flat mirrors on each side. I may have to go thru your video again, sorry bout that.
Hey Rodney, Curtis cab on that 1025r. Any JD dealer sells them. 2. Made a little blurb about that when I was in the woods today. Today was their biggest test and they passed with flying colors in the mud, dirt, hills, rock, etc in the woods. Mirrors are in my Amazon store. Here's links though... One Large 7" x 12" Mirror: amzn.to/2Uit8ox Two Large 7" x 12" Mirrors: amzn.to/2wZCQUF One Smaller Mirror: amzn.to/2UfLPsF
It would be cool if you can do a comparison between the Kubota L5240 and the JD4066R. I always wondered how the GrandL series compares to the 4R series.
@@GoodWorksTractors LOL. I can see that. but truth be told the new L60 series didn't really add anything new over the old L40 series other than the annoying emission stuff. I think as long as you are comparing the functions and capabilities of the machines instead of the fancy creature comfort stuff you would be fine. I'm just curious to know how does each tractor feel in day to day operations and what you like and don't like about both machines.
Thanks Courtney for all the videos you make. They are informative as well as entertaining. Just hope my boss doesn't know that I'm watching tractor videos while working at home! LOL
I want that Nothing Runs Like a Deere neon sign. Where did you get it? I can't wait to get my brand new 3039R next month. I will be looking for all these hiding spots for tools, chains and stuff and hidden features for sure. Great videos!
tag g www.wallensteinequipment.com/ca/en/default.aspx. hlaattachments.com. Then also are farm king , tube line, hagedorne, penta, Nuhn, creekbank welding outa elmira( small 4 wheeler trailers) are a few more, some of these are big farm equipment mfg tho, hope this helps
I cant find that mirror you mentioned....I have a 2016 JD 3033R and would like to purchase one. Also I have a 72" quick attach drive over mower...do you sell the retrofit drive over shoes to allow you to pick up the mower deck with the loader ? Thank You
Hi , I have a 1023 , and would love to fit a tooth bar , problem is I live in Auckland New Zealand and Amazon will not deliver here . Have you any suggestions on how I can purchase one ?
I just got a 3039 R I’ve been trying to do that quick dump function with the bucket and it’s not working is something broken or am I doing something wrong?
Ask your dealer's service department about it, the large joystick control for it is cable-controlled to the actual valves and when the cables are incorrectly adjusted you'll have limited speed in certain directions and can lose the extra functions (float & fast dump)
How can I tell if the locking position on my rear aux functions (Kubota M9540) is a float or continuous flow? I purchased the tractor used and added both hydraulic top and side links because I already had the axillary functions.... Now that I have them, I can't imagine working without them.
Hey one of really annoying things is that thei tool away the down pressure on newer tractors reason i don't like it is because as an example my granpa changes hea tractor tires from wide on winter to narrow on spring because thats 2wd old tractor and it get kind a dippy with narrow tires and all that ise and snow and what he uses for tore change is he puts a bigger block of wood Under 3point (he uses a 3point drawbar) and uses the hydrolics to lift both tires up and then puts more blocks Under Axel and that makes it a whole a lot easier Or he uses actually a 3point loggrapple that lifts the hole trunk up and with that its useful when grabbing limbs or that sort of stuff
Biggest thing that I like about my Kubota tractor it has the HST tilt pedal instead of the twin touch pedal I find the twin touch pedal just to be confusing seeing as I got whiplash from a branch smacking me across the back of the head from when I press the wrong pedal on a John Deere
I did have a rant and a bitch but that was because of being a video but not because of you because of viewers not taking the time to be mechanical in their own head but that's fine I will save that you're doing a great job buddy thanks
Do you suppose that there is anyone watching RU-vid that doesn’t know that you want them to like and subscribe? Broken record. Okay..okay..okay..okay..okay..okay..okay
