Good to see you again Robski. I've been following you for years. Awesome video. Thank you for your knowledge. I appreciate you. You're a great Patriot and blessing
Rob! I'm sorry you keep having problems with these crazy companies that hate real freedom of speech. But I'm glad you're sticking it out and coming back when you can to give us videos like this. Thank you, sir.
What's worse than that is its freedom of speech about a Constitutionally protected freedom. It's fucking nuts and crazy. So people are getting banned for using their 1st Amendment right about their 2nd Amendment right? The world we live in is nuts. I'm sure Rob left his country of origin to get away from Tyrannical acts just like this. I know my great great great grandparents did.
additional screw issue solution: get wood saw dust and wood glue, and make a thick paste. then stuff as much as possible into the holes for the screws. let this set for a day, and once fully dried redrill the holes. use a drill bit smaller than the stock screws and that will make the screws be nice and tight once theyre reinstalled.
A woodworking trick I've used in the past to repair holes is to take wood glue and mix with a fair amount of sawdust. Fill the hole and allow to dry. Re-drill the hole and install screws. I've never used it for stock repair but I'm curious if it would work.
I just wanted to let you know how much I love your content. I finally, not that long ago, got myself an AK. Your videos definitely helped me become comfortable with the AK platform. Keep up the amazing work
Rob, I just wanted to pop in and thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have learned and improved more in six months of watching your videos than I have in almost a decade of pursuing this hobby. It is an absolute shame that social media is shutting down our First Amendment, all to keep people scared and ignorant of our Second Amendment freedoms. You are a true American Patriot.
For loose screws remove screws from stock. Remove stock from gun. Mix two part epoxy on index card. Using a tooth pick apply epoxy to screw hole. DO NOT FILL HOLES. Just line the sides. Put stock away and go play with something else. Come back tomorrow after epoxy has set and completely dried. Reinstall stock and screw in the screws No quarantines but this has worked for me I used a modified version of this to repair a duffle cut g98k. Love channel. God bless and good luck.
I love you man....thank for you selfless efforts to help make the concerned citizen focus what could happen but hopefully won't. You and your support people are like the best insurance for the worst case scenario. Mad respect Rob and staff, peace and love
I just picked up my first AK last week after many years of love and respect for the platform. Long story short I discovered AKOU47-74 and after spending a couple hours watching your content I couldn't resist any longer and picked up a ZPAP M70. I have many friends who run the AR platform but here in the Arizona desert, I wanted something that could handle this environment's harsh punishment and just work when I want it to. I already picked up a few things on my first order from your shop and plan on an optics setup from you in the near future! I grew up in Southern Indiana and am very familiar with where you're at! Beautiful part of the country. Thanks for all your help Rob!
I got in an actual shoving match yesterday with a purple haired whale in the grocery store. I was wearing my Awsome, AKOU Devil Girl on AK shirt, and miss piggy got retard triggered, and started screaming at me. Some crap about misogynist blah blah, it was hard to interpret the oinking. It got more spicy when piggy saw my concealed carry, (.44 1858 sheriff) and she started screaming, I was threatening her, and gonna murder everyone. Lol. Yeah... It was funny. Only because, this pig was a tourist, and Ive been shopping at same store for years, and every employee knows me, by first name. So it wasn't even a question of if Im a good guy. She was told, shes not welcome. Of course she threw a fit, and knocked over a end piece of garlic bread. While screaming about guns. I helped pick up the bread. They gave me 2 free! Its the little victories, that really make my days. And no cops involved. Side note. Piggy easily outweighed me by 100lbs. Probably 150. 🤮 Great vid!
@@chriscarnes87 I absolutely agree, but there was no avoiding this one. Once someone enters my circle, screaming and wagging a finger an inch from my eye... I probably could have handled it better, but, Im not taking that shit frankly. Hey, at least I didn't have to talk to cops.
A little tip for the screws backing out - which happened to my MAK-90. I used one piece of a wooden coffee stir stick (found in any coffee house) and some silicone sealant - that did the trick!
Hello my friend ! Please dont use the JB Weld instead use the blue Lock Tite it it make to hold threads and also it can be removed with out much of a hassle. It can be found at any auto parts store. The red LockTite is suppose to be permanent just like the JB Weld. Great info my friend !!
For the screws backing out, you can also use toothpicks. Stick 2 in the stock screw hole, insert screw, once it starts to grip break off the toothpicks. Tighten screw. Easy peasy.
Wooden matchstick or toothpick in a hole will also make the screw tighten much better. Works great! I have done this when installing strap lock buttons into guitar bodies too - works well.
optics on a under folder from the side, my own design. and shimmed for the combat setting. AK Operator you would be very surprised. I zero at 25 yards where it is about two inches low. Good for 25 to 350 yards
Great seeing you again I hope this shall be more often. Trust in God and the Constitution keep your powder dry and your eye on the target God bless and Semper Fidelis from Arizona
I just remove all the wood furniture and replace it with adapters and mlok rails. All my AK’s have TWS dust covers, SLR handguards, and Rifle Dynamics buttstock adapters. Also bought 5.56 AKs to stand in for my 5.45’s.

As far as what to use for stock screws backing out, just go to your local hardware store and get some blue loctite. If desperate, use the wood shaving trick as described in the video. Never use JB Weld lol. Thanks AKOU but just don't use JB Weld on this type of thing unless it's an absolute last resort.
I reeeeeaaallly prefer irons but I fully recognize the advantage of optics. I have optics on my rifles. I use quick detach master mounts so I can take them off when I’ve had enough 😂
Gorilla wood glue works well to ease removal place soldering on screw head allow heat to transfer and screw will come out works good on lock tight as well hope this helps keep up the good work😊
Always a good morning when I get to wake up to a new Rob Ski video. Mr. Ski, I would love to see a video on some of your favorite drills to run with the AK on the range! Also hope everything is well with Veronica!
You faced opponents running mainly irons as well. It's 2023. You will be facing totally differently equipped "enemy now"...it's your rifle and you will do whatever you want. I'm perfectly ok with your choices, but I use optics on my Go To rifles.
Yes with optics... But a true Rifleman first uses and learns iron sights, whether an AK or AR, if you learn and become proficient with iron sights, you'll only be better with an optic!!
