Hi Chris! I found out about your channel about 2 weeks ago and binge watch your videos because I find them really informative. You may have given the answer to my question in one of your videos but I can't seem to find it, so here it is. I have medium hair and in your Recommended Products list, you recommend Redken Big Blowout to add fullness and volume after blowout or Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother to give a smooth shiny texture after blowout. Would you say we can use both to add volume AND shine texture or is it better to use only one or the other, depending on what result we want, to avoid to much product on our hair? Thanks a bunch!

I'm a skeptical 58 year old with fine thin hair - never have used a leave in conditioner in my life but somehow this man influenced me - I bought the leave in conditioner as well as the heat protectant and have been honestly surprised - my hair didn't get weighed down as I feared, and following his over the head curling iron technique as well my hair actually looks healthier and thicker than it has in decades. I need to work on the curling iron technique still but the curls do last longer (esp with the heat protectant too). Thank you - so happy I found your page!

I am new to your channel, I am so glad that I stumbled onto your channel, my hair type is fine and for the last 4 years I have been loosing a lot of hair every day I could not understand why I am loosing so much hair, I have seen my doctor for blood test all was fine, I thought going through menopause was causing my hair loss, which was not menopause, I have tried supplements which also was not working. I saw your video in regards to shampoo and conditioner and leave in conditioner as well as the oil, and also how to correctly shampoo my hair. To my amazement my hair is so healthy and no more hair loss. Thank you so much for your videos, you are an amazing hairdresser with so much knowledge. I wish I knew this 4 years ago. All the hair loss I experienced caused me to feel depressed and it was frustrating because I didn’t know what the cause of my hair loss was. I have always had fine hair but I had a lot of fine hair. My hair was so fine and very thin, I even saw a hairdresser who specialises in making human hair topper I spent over $1000 in purchasing a hair topper. I honestly feel like my hair is on the road to full recovery. Once again thank you so much 🙏all the way from Australia

New to the channel and I was watching your videos on "Hair care must-haves" as an African American woman with unprocessed thick tight curly hair, I believe in products that work for all hair types and I have learned that this belief have saved me every time. When I follow "Natural hair" trends I become a product junkie and my hair suffers for it. Currently I am using JOICO shampoo and conditioner and my hair really likes it. But, I can not for the life of me figure out a quality leave-in conditioner. Is there a leave-in conditioner that you would recommend for thick, curly, kinky, coarse- textured, unprocessed and not much if at all damage hair? I'm in need of a great quality leave-in conditioner that works for all hair types even mine 😢 Kinky coil's🙂 Thank you, either way🙏🏿

I'm asking the same question on everyone of your videos hoping you'll answer one of them. Important question! I ordered your recommended products, the Pureology leave in conditioner, olaplex oil, Redkin Big Blowout and Redkin Thermal Spray. They came in the mail today. My question is that what should my regimen be? I only wash my hair once every two weeks but you said only use leave in conditioner only on wet hair so what do I use between? Do I use the Big Blowout and Thermal Spray every day? My hair is so damaged. I blow dry my hair straight, then use a curling iron set on 410° for big curls.

If my hair is too wet, it seems to slip off but if it's too dry it doesn't seem to stick to my hair. So, at what percentage of dryness should the hair be in your opinion for the leave in conditioner to work?

Good info. To each his or her own. I make home made pepper jack Mac and cheese. Someone who is use to the cheap stuff won't like real cheese Mac and cheese. I like that u understand that hair products work differently on each person. I wash with 2 different shampoos (one cleans, other purple) I condition, after I use leave in conditioner. I blow dry and add oil. Wrap it or put mousse on it and roll it. Or part down the middle, add mousse and 2 strand twist it. I get the wan look without the wan. I really enjoy these videos bc Chris really cares about people's hair. It's not so much about promoting stuff that is not needed. Thanks again for your honesty.,🤗

Sometimes, I might not have access to my favorite shampoo, or favorite hair oil, but I must always have my leave in conditiner, because my very fine, very curly AND very dry hair need, NEED that conditioning. Now of course, I do use oil on my ends and also use heat protectant whenever I blow dry, and the best thing is that I dont need many products that would weight down my hair, because with my leave in is formulated for fine hair, but it is moisturizing enough for my dry hair needs!

After leave in conditioner, then you use both thermal spray AND blow out and oil? Both Thermal spray and blow out? Can you use one spray or blow out with a blow dryer?

Is it better to let hair air dry or should we use cool/warm hair dryer to dry wet hair which are color treated? Does the latter method gives some shine to otherwise dull n frizzy hair? Pls do reply 🙃 Stay Blessed Stay Happy Always 🥰🤗😘🧚‍♀️🦄🌈🧿

Seeing Curlsmith in the intro. That's what I use for my curls, but at that part you're talking about things that don't work and are a waste. Is Curlsmith bad in your opinion or was it just a random shot? I did buy the Pureology leave-in conditioner you always recommend, it's great :D
@BlowoutProfessor

Hey! Curlsmith is totally fine 👍 That was just one product I'm not into. Every line has some good products and some bad products :) No such thing as a line that's great at everything :)

I had coarse thick hair in my younger years but now at 73 my hair is thinner obviously. My question is does you hair change to a medium or is it still coarse? I don’t dye it. It is a silver white. Should I use coarse or medium products? It seems much more silky and softer than it was in my youth. Doesn’t tangle at all.

I can’t describe how thankful I am for your channel and the information you share here! Im struggling to find the leave in conditioner from pureology in my country or nearby… can you recommend another one? Im thinking about Moroccanoil all in one leave in conditioner. Is it okey? Thanks again!

I actually found the answer for this question in a comment area under some other video. I also could not find it in my country. He said the REDKEN one united leave in conditioner is second best.

Chris one serious question here? Just got a pixie for the first time in 40 years Had very healthy hair as a bob with Redken Voluminous products, Root Boost and styling brush but after just 2 washes and lower temp iron the beginning of damage to my thick yet fine and porous hair here in North Florida is evident to me. What would you advise? Unfortunately I can't find a video where you work with short hair.

My problem with leave in conditioners is that 99% of them seem to have super strong fragrances and can cause allergies! I wouldn't mind a very very mild fragrance like a LIGHT coconut, but most of them smell so super strong. Do you happen to know of one that doesn't?

Hello, Do we have to use heat protection and blow dry cream same time? or just have to pick any one of them?

Hi Crist. I have some questions . Is Ne’cessarie shampoo and conditioner ok to use? If I have wavy hair 2A type so I have to dry my hair by defusing a little bit before let air dry , I want to know I need heat protection or not? The last question I use curl defining, so I still need blow dry cream or any styling cream or not? Moreover, could you recommend a good curl enhancing that good for thick and a little bit wave for me. I don’t know how to choose because they have cream, gel, moose. I like touchable but keep my wave nicer. I will waiting for your recommendation.

Hi Chris, I love your videos! Would you ever do a video on the redken extreme line? I'm confused about all the options and if the add ons are mandatory, like the redken extreme lenght sealer? And I only trust your opinion after getting much healthier hair from following your videos😆

Hey Chris! I was wondering how can we "re-moisturize" the hair after a blowout? I wash my hair once a week but I notice that after like 3-4 days my hair is dry again I use a leave-in and I oil my hair every night. I have a platinum card blond hair
@BlowoutProfessor
@BlowoutProfessor 2 года назад
Hey Sho! The hair oil and leave in is very important. But platinum hair has a real problem retaining moisture. Olaplex 3 is great for solving this... Here's a video -go to the moisture retention part :) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VXF7pWge498.html

Hi love the video. Is it possible for you to record a video on African Afro hair? It seems to me like Afro hair has a few exceptions to the rules. Like my hair is fine and coarse so when I watched your video on hair type and products I was left still a little lost. Then there are certain products in the Afro community that are considered professional but do not know if they are like Kera Care and Design Essentials

I have natural black hair and I did purchase the leave-in he suggested and it was very softening to my hair! Also we can use professional salon products that aren't specifically marketed for the community I was concerned about this but a good quality product is just that

Can you tell everyone if the mark hill hair lab bond repair range is good. It’s half the price as olaplex but it’s apparently the same I would like to see you do a review on it. As I’ve bought a few of the olaplex products but hate the price range but obviously it’s worth your money for the results. But if mark hill is a cheaper alternative I’m down for using that instead. Thanks

Hello Chris! I love your videos and the way you explain things! I have a few questions if you don’t mind. What do you think about drying with a diffuser attachment? I have fine hair and my hair becomes super frizzy in countries with high humidity. Do you have any tips? Do anti-frizz sprays work? Can you recommend another dry shampoo for fine hair? In my country you can’t find Pulp Riot. What do you think about microfiber towels and silk caps/ silk pillowcases? Do they really make a difference? What is your take on brands like Virtue, Living Proof, Oribe, Kérastase, Briogeo, Bumble and bumble, Ouai, R+Co, Aveda and Rahua? Do they have any products you like? Thank you for your hard work! Have a very nice day!😊
