@@nirast2561 When faceless hunter was going around with the Starros. Red Tornado was immune to the mind control, and needed to be stopped another way. I feel like it was downplayed mostly because he's a robot that could probably be rebuilt

With B'Wana Beast, I always felt what made his death so sad besides just what Mike did to save everyone was also the fact he'd propose to Vixen sometime before these events, and what he did wasn't just the actions of the hero, but wanting to protect something precious to him.
Bwanna Beast’s death really messed me up, as well taught me that whatever power you have. Can always be used to protect your family, friends and especially loved ones.
For a show that pays homage to the Silver Age, which is the wacky one in the three ages, it pretty much has a lot of depressing deaths. Honestly, it sucks that people slept on this show and shunned it for being wacky. Like yeah, it is wacky, but it can also be serious when it needs to be.
when a show/movie is self-aware and never pretends to be more than what it is, this opens up potential for the show to surprise its viewers when they actually take a different route.
And unnecessary cruel as well. Like how it treated Red Tornado. Every episode centered on him was to either destroy him, force him to destroy his son or have the Faceless Hunter destroy him to never see him again.
Same. I always thought that power was awesome. He also seems to be able to control the beast he makes, as long as it's made from two creatures. Three is already considered unstable, and the only reason the gryphon worked was because Batman volunteered to be the brain and help keep it stable. The Starro beast, as mentioned, was too much. His death in the show definitely hit me the hardest.
Imagine the thought going thru Bruce's head as he's staring at Damien knowing he's about to watch him die and repeat the cycle. It must be an awful last moment for him.

Doom Patrol's death hit me hard when I was a kid. I loved that episode and the patrol, their powers were weird and wonderful and thats what made them unique from other heroes. They will always be remembered and cherished.
I really love how this show used a modern batman in the golden age era, it's a really interesting concept and him being so nonchalant about all the wackiness adds an underlying layer of hilarity.
This show was such a gem. It spotlights characters who otherwise weren't appreciated(like Ted Kord and B'wana Beast) It featured a Batman who was able to actually maintain relationships, call upon help and even say what he felt instead of being angry silent brooder like every other series. Plus it just looked nice, the character designs have a bit of a Bruce Timm feel and the snappy color works 110%
B’Wanna Beast’s death still gets me until this day. I remembered when first watching it, I was still hoping to see him come back. I was a sad boy when it wasn’t the case....
Personal I would’ve given an honorable mention to Thomas and Martha Wayne. Yes I know they bite the dust in almost every version of Batman. But I felt it was really well handled in “chill of the night.”
Well not really the origin story wasnt really the focus it was Batman's reaction to the guy who killed his parents(Joe Chill). And I loved how the villains beat him up for admitting that he was the one that actually created the Batman from killing his parents because Batman revealed that he was Bruce Wayne to Joe Chill
I think the Christmas episode handled their deaths better. We just see the Waynes walking down an alley, disappearing into the shadows, followed by two flashes of light accompanied by distant gunfire. Sometimes, less is more.
Except despite being a comedy, Batman acted for the most part like regular Batman. The other characters added comedy. Even BTAS Batman had more friendly moments than this Batman.
The doom patrol dying shocked the hell outta me as a kid like yeah the other deaths left an impact on me but that one shocked me so much because it was so unpredictable

*Sup Guys!* Damn, I watched this show when I was really young (under 6 years old, at least) but I never really knew how many superheroes died in the show.
B'wanna beast death was the saddest for me especially at the very end when he's says "I would do it all again in a hummingbird heartbeat." He was so selfless!! Saved everybody even when everybody laughed and made fun of him. I actually cried at the end.
Red Tornado's son's and B'wana Beast's death hit different man. Red Tornado's kid because you really felt how RT felt during that whole episode, and how much of an impact making the tough decision was, and B'wana Beast because an ultimate sacrifice was uncommon and it had a significant impact on the other heroes and the world around them.

The scene after the death of The Doom Patrol should've been included. Seeing the people that watched them give their lives come together saying "We are The Doom Patrol" made that episode hit so much harder.
Don't y'all see this! Look at how many non-Batman characters die in a Batman cartoon! Brave and the Bold introduced so many cool heroes and villains that most people would've never known about. This is why this is my favorite Batman cartoon. It not only introduced me to Batman back in the day, but also to so many other DC characters. And i am grateful for the people that created this amazing cartoon. Props to the creators!👏👏👏

Ted Kord here was portrayed as someone Batman could talk tech with, but also could cut loose too. That Joker II killed his parents made it more an ironic echo for Damian, as his grandparents died at the hands of Joe Chill here.
I think thats why i love Batman also so much: As Dark and Gritty he normaly he is. He can also be more lighthearted and funny, without feeling out of place :D
I've always loved this show but I really didn't think about how many tragic deaths we saw on the show. Bwana Beast's always comes to mind instantly, probably due to the buildup and everything.
It's weird to me that no one ever talks about Red Tornadoes death. He was destroyed in the Starro arc. And from what I can tell is never rebuilt. Since he never shows up again in the series. People greave for Bwanno Beast at the end of the arc. But not him. And he's never mentioned again. Yeah this was a great show.

Tornado Tyrant/Champion deserves am honorable mention. Red Tornado made a son able to be effectively human but in doing so made him too human and ultimately flawed and has to resort to killing his own son when these flaws turn him to the path of evil.
There was something so simply tragic about the fact that the first Black Canary didn't die fighting a supervillain or saving the world, she died in a normal fire.
I loved this show so much, and for an awesome show like this with some goofy characters it had some really brutal deaths. But all the dead characters returned in the last episode at least, so that cheered me up as a kid.
Definitely not my favorite version of Batman but I loved all the team ups with different heroes. This show introduced me to the third Blue Beatle who is now my favorite Blue Beatle, it also introduced me to Firestorm

I'd actually list the Doom Patrol's deaths at #2 and B'Wanna Beast's at #1. The Patrol's demise, while sad, was a retelling of their comic book 'deaths' at the end of their original book back in the 60s. B'Wanna s death, on the other hand, was original to this cartoon, which carries more emotional resonance.
Brave and the Bold was my childhood when i was a kid i waited till 11pm for batman brave and the bold every single night.Pss loud house was 9pm and ninja turtles was 10pm.Ahhh good old times
This was such a colorful cartoon of an affair compared to JL. I never expected many deaths from this show, let alone four in a single moment. The Doom Patrol would have to be the hardest moment. Something about “it happened in the past” deaths seem less devastating maybe because you know how it affects people in the longrun as it IS the backstory. But a death in the moment, in the now? It hits hard as a tragedy with repercussions yet to be fully realized. That moment the island exploded, my jaw dropped. The moment they renamed the town, I couldnt stop crying. (Even thinking back on it, my eyes water a bit...)
