On the lat pulldowns, according to one study, it's actually more effective to lean back a tad bit. He's correct in saying not to rock back and forth, but I several people would disagree on the "pull straight down"

How do you know when you are lifting the right amount of weight in order to gain muscle mass? I've heard from someone that you should try and target 7 reps, 3 sets otherwise the weight you are lifting is too light? I see in this video he's going for 10-12 reps.

For strength- 4 to 6 reps, Size- 8 to 12 reps Endurance- 20reps or more

I do this work but I also add Deadlifts and Hyper extensions because I'd just rather work my full back on the same day. If anyone has other suggestions on what to add it would be much appreciated.

There's nothing wrong with being skinny if you're healthy. If you're fat your overweight and thats not doing right by your body but I dont understand why people think youre less of a person if you're on the slender side.

Exercise is the key. Don't give up, push yourself and do these every week. You will see in time that you will be able to do more reps.

Thank you for the motivation. I'm currently limited to home workouts. Pull ups, by far, are the most hardest workout I have ever done beside dips and leg workout. I hope I'll rock them soon. Do you hit the gym or doing home workouts? :)
