@@callefalk4457 they're doing this all over YT comment sections. The other one I've seen is for a movie site. Also for crypto accountants. They'll go on about how they made $ with crypto and like 20 other fake accounts will chime in too and vouch for the broker. And all the account ts are usually 2-5 months old.
The first and second primary tubes downward angle not being parallel or symmetrical with one another really gets at my OCD! Good thing their hidden by the frame rail and you can’t really notice it when the header is bolted up. Looks awesome.
Cut out the most interesting part of actually finding the angles and fitting everything between the collector and flange. Thats the part i want to see and learn
Been watching this channel from the start and i love it . Mr Newburn is a great guy,got lots of common sense ,a propa car guy. Best part of the team .Just keep him away from the gearbox on Blasphemi lol. All the best Danny uk 👍
I just went through so many of your videos to find this one from 2 years ago because I wanted that tube marking tool. Then I saw it’s $1600 and decided to feed my family instead. I’ll revert to the Jerry rig practice of using my belt or something else as a wrap around to achieve the best results I can. I don’t know why I thought that tool would be cheaper.
There's something so satisfy about those last shots of you slipping the header into place! Knowing that you built that and there will be no question about fitment is a beautiful thing!
Love the road trip content but love the fab/build stuff way more! The audio has gotten much much better... but still miss a step here and there. @Newbern, facial grooming is on point! Overall constant improvement, can't wait for the rest of this!
Awesome work there. Better and better. And, it is absolutely heartwarming to see... the RoadKill donkey overseeing production. Mascot and Luck Charm. Without that magical piece of art, none of this would be possible. Well, maybe.
Audio is so much better, thanks for that👍 This video makes me think I need better friends. To get your truck up and running in 5 days will be awesome. Look forward to the next one!
Honestly, Mike is the best wealth of knowledge about welding I've come across. I've never welded a day in my life but after watching Finnegan do his welding thing after Big Chief made fun of his work, it gives me the motivation to try.
Great video can't wait to hear the rhythmic rumble of that beast. I was interested in the Furick Markout Pro until I saw the price, at $1800 I'll stick with calculations and cuts that are a touch long then dial them in on the belt sander.
Watching your shows has revitalized my ambition to drag out my cars spend (Lots & Lots ) of quid on cool ass parts like new holley brawler and intake, headers and a bunch more stuff .... Love all your shows haha!
Glad to hear so much progress is on the way for the C-10! Am surprised though that it looked like the primary tube for cylinder 8 was a little shorter than the other guys and I was under the impression that would hurt scavenging, figured it would help to have it come forward to meet the other pipes and match the length. Can’t wait to see this thing fired up!
Hell yeah those mufflers are the muscle truck specials he probably called David before he ordered them 😂. Can’t wait to hear “this is the music of my people!”
Awesome job! And super excited that you finally got a good microphone - almost blew out my eardrums when the video started cuz I'm used to turning the volume up!
Oh btw Finnegan, congrats on the new pup.. just make sure it doesn't stare at the light from the welder and go blind.. It's mesmerizing to dogs for some reason. Also, you need to teach James (Cleetus' friend/coworker) how to make exhaust.. his Nova's exhaust... you just know it's about to break with him making hundreds of pie cuts and no back purging.
First episode I've seen in a while and I'm throughly impressed with how good these videos are getting! The graphics, transitions, edits, etc. are fricken awesome!
It's looking like I will need to fab headers for my Galaxie project and you make it look way easier than I know it is. We'll see if I build up the courage to do it or try to make something off the shelf work.
SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS THING COME TOGETHER! I have loved this thing since you started working on it. Bang up job yall. Buying a tig rig thanks to this channel!
Great channel, awesome work and I really appreciate the effort you put into these, but if I hear someone explain back purging one more time I'm going to punch a hole through my computer screen!
Highly recommend 5/8 drywall on your ceiling. Say you go to bed after welding and there's a small spark you have nothing to slow a fire through ceiling/floor of home
Finigan I would sugest that you put a big back panel with the big back window instead of the stock small winndow. LMC has the complete back panel for about $500. Will make the C 10 look much better!
A less expensive and more forgiving alternative for headers is using schedule pipe. It's thick enough it dosn't warp much, you can use a mig welder, you don't need to purge it (although it's a good idea), comes in all sorts of bends the one major drawback is it's quite heavy. Makes good short-mid length turbo headers but might not be practical for full long tube headers.
Motion raceworks carrys plastic mockup blocks to build headers before you cut your tubing its like what your using but you can make the whole header and mirror it identically
Hey Finnegan is this the start of your how to series? Honestly a bunch of the little tricks you've showed me in these videos have helped me with fabrication and vehicle building.
Iv a golden cocker spaniel here in ireland 🇮🇪 best a luck keeping your fella tired. My lad needs 2 hours walk for 1 mins rest 🤣best oul dog all the same 🙃
Awesome stuff! I've got a buddy that makes making headers look easy..it has to be one of the hardest things to fabricate..It seems to be about patience and practice!
