The idea of going home just hours after a delivery is SO appealing to me!! I've had two hospital births, and I just couldn't wait to be back at home where everything is quiet and comfortable.
I'm totally going to make that tea for my labor, but add date syrup instead of honey. Some research has suggested dates not only help with labor, but date syrup after birth helped moms avoid excessive bleeding.
I heard that orca water also helps with labor as well this African mom teaches her daughters to start using it at around 36 weeks to help with delivering
I have to do inductions with epidurals for several different medical issues for all of my babies(I'm just glad I can avoid a C-section) but these tips are still so so useful. Or at least, some of them. Even though I know I'm heading into an induction with an epidural I've started drinking the red Raspberry Leaf Tea .. I am ALWAYS low on iron and with my first I was SOOOOO low. This time they checked and my iron was NORMAL. Wow.
Hi Kira :) two questions. 1. Are there any alternatives to the coconut oil and coconut water? 2. Where do you recommend getting the postpartum support belt thing from?
Hi Charlotte! 1- olive oil would work in place of coconut oil. Be sure it’s unopened when you first use it. 2- I have a link to the postpartum belt in the description below. BuyBuy baby may sell them as well if you have one in your area
A few days ago I submitted my information to get the free list on the provided link, but I never received an email. I checked my junk mail just in case too. I went back today to try and resubmit my request but it said I was already subscribed. Can you please help?
Larabars I believe are all gluten free. They are usually just dates, other fruits and nuts. They are delicious and a nice pick me up. I will probably take some with me as my snack.
Two questions for? How do you make the tea like the ingredients you said you have all the mom has to drink it how much is T how much is water how much honey also when you do the ice chips is it just the red raspberry leaf tea
4 cups double strength tea, 4 cups coconut water, 1/4 to 1/3 honey. Ice chips I think she said was just the red raspberry leaf tea. There is a video about her labour tea.
It's usually just a hospital policy for all laboring folks. But if you have a planned cesarean they will tell you not to eat before the surgery either.
You really shouldn’t eat because if u need an emergency section. If this is a first time birth and you are just not sure then I suggest everyone listen to their own drs.
@@sweets8446 medically necessary cesareans are SO rare. It’s insane to tell all mothers not to eat because there is a tiny chance they will need a cesarean, and if they do, a very tiny chance they will aspirate 🙄
Yes, look up "CajunStork and Red Raspberry Leaf Tea" and you will find several videos on the tea including a taste test video and recipes. I also have a handout on it that you can find here: kit.co/CajunStork/red-raspberry-leaf-teas-and-alternatives
@@CajunStork It was the raspberry leaf tea and only one tea bag. I'm still suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum so may be why didn't sit right with me. I've been medicated fluffy since 24 weeks and since 30 weeks my diet has been back to normal on medication. So I figured should have been okay with the tea but I was wrong. 😅
