I bought a 2008 Honda Fit that has paint fade on basically the whole car. It’s bright red and I’m wondering how do I go about on fixing the paint ? And what’s a good website to get “cheap” wheels for a Honda Fit ? Since fitment industries is hella expensive lol
I also just got an Invidia exhaust installed and it sounds great ! Was that a K&N air intake you have ? Ik you said it was like $100 but I’ve seen it for $303 lol
Update: The exhaust came in, installed like a breeze, and sounds fantastic. THANKS A MILLION for the recommendation. I'm waiting for the cold air to get back in stock and I'mma cop that bih asap. I just ordered the exhaust, I can't wait to install it. Thanks for the recommendation I've been looking to modify my fit but hadn't the slightest idea where to start.
Me encanta la cultura que hay detrás de este coche! Pequeño pero da muchas alegrías! Genial vídeo! Gracias por dejarnos verlo! Saludos desde España 🇪🇸!!
I just got done installing a bigger battery in my 2008 Honda Fit. I got the NAPA "THE LEGEND PREMIUM" 740 CA/590 CCA. H: 6.75". W: 6.75". L: 9". BCI # 96R, NAPA # 8496R. I have it running lengthwise from the fuse box to the air cleaner. It fits perfect! Nice and snug! This is the direct fit battery that Napa had installed in my 2005 Mustang 4.0L
just bought my first car and its a 2007 honda jazz (yes im on the other side of the world, lol). and this helps me a lot for what things i need to do with my baby. cheers mate
I got a 2007 Honda Fit. It’s a nice little car. Very reliable and roomy. Sadly it’s my winter car now that I recently got a 2014 si coupe and my 2000 xj will never see snow salt every again.
I found the center console with armrest new on e-bay for the Honda Fit for $44. "Rotatable Storage Box Armrest Center Console For Honda Fit Jazz 2009-2013 12 11" Brand: XUKEY. Made in California.
Woah where were you when I got my car a year ago? Haha nah I was a broke a college kid now just broke. But definitely gonna be working on my fit soon! Just subscribed
You need some weathertec floor mats now. The standard mats and carpet in these things catch absolutely every crumb and speck of dirt and never lets it go.
Spritex performance springs. Night and day difference, and still rides good. Only about a 1" drop bit much better handling , and much less sway at freeway speeds.
I picked up a '10 5mt with low mileage last summer, I have been having a blast weaving thru Chicago traffic and the gas tank lasts about 300miles even tho I usually shift around 3rpms
i have the same exhaust and car but i got vtec yoooooo HAHAHA and btw but i had my resonator deleted and believe me bro it sounds so much better without it
i’m happy i found this channel , i love my honda fit but i hate it , i have a 2011 (pre owned but worth the investment) i’m trying to modify mine as well , one day at a time, it’s crap rn but it’s gonna be amazing lol , can u spare me a link for the cold air intake i’m not sure if the one you showed will fit mine
Great mods and good video. My 03 civic got totaled so i picked up an 08 Fit. I could have got an 10 but i really like the non organic radio display of the 08. I am planning on getting some AVS low profile wind deflectors and hood shield. And most like going to do an all around tint with a visor tint as well (abiding by all local and state Laws). Maybe a tow loop as well for that pop. What are your thoughts on a Vtec SOHC decal (like the ones you would see on most civics) on the rear doors? I have heard mixed opinions on it (many nay sayers laughing on why you would want to flaunt a SOHC) but I really like to brand a Vtec engine no matter Single or Dual Cams. Thanks again for the great vid.
It's called a lower bumper or a skirt on the front of your car and it's not a higher powered exhaust it's just a exhaust it's a muffler that that's it.. Plus that's not a quarter and take you installed because of the placement of it literally it's just a short head ram.
Interesting that Honda has the part number named “front spoiler” The hks muffler is called “hi-power” And about the intake, yes. And I regret it. Wish i could remake so many of these videos having grown since then
Hi, what's the name of that part below the bumper where you have your fog lights? I have a fit 2008 and my bumper doesn't look like yours, mine is completely closed with no space for the fog lights....
@@JustinMods I’m in Jamaica bro I have my fit now for 3 years and I love it I hope to modify it in time but go take me while I was wonder if those flood lights could fit my FiT
@@kevinhutchinson2237 you can look at this page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Fit for more info, im not sure which one it is, but the L15A is a VTEC engine, not sure which one you have.
Hey Justin...new sub here. I'm on the verge buying a used Fit. Many for sale fom private owners near me. $7000 budget... which year would be a good start? I'm thinking 2012 and up... any significant things to look for with a car over 100k miles?. Thanks, middle aged guy, looking for reliable commuter, not power...
@@JustinMods thanks for the response man! I've been driving the fit consistently since December and once I own I want a tad more power and presence ya feel
That cold air intake is not a cold air intake...its hot air intake... every intake needs a proper airbox or you lose hp... you just get sound and more fuel consumption... when your engine gets hot that air stays under your hood and goes directlly to that intake... use your stock airbox and get a K&N filter for your car and tell me im not right...all other mods are cool...
I said it was a ram air intake, some people don’t know the difference. Cold air intake seems interchangeable to the Internet so I used that word, ram air intake has significantly less searches. Been considering getting a new intake system, but I want to save up for another car or some wheels for the fit
Any fit for 4 grand is about right, make sure to check for basic mechanical issues, the fits are reliable cars but owner error is very much still possible, listen closely for sounds, look under the car for leaks, make sure the body is in good condition, make sure you’ve got a good deal and use everything you can to get the price down (problems and things that weren’t listed in the listing)
Got myself a fit mate. 2009 sport. The problem I am facing is, it's got that perl blue color and it's faded out on hood and roof. Looking to use a vinyl wrap. I don't mind wrapping same color but I think it's very difficult to get same one and it would odd. So I am looking for some other options. A Matt finish black is what my buddy is suggesting, I was thinking of carbon fiber look. Any suggestions mate?
Hi Justin, do you know where can I buy lips and spoilers for my honda fit 2008, I want to have installed the aerodynamic kit, if you have an online store that ships internationally would be great, thank you,
That's a short ram intake (SRI), not a cold air. It'll suck up hot engine bay air and more often than not you'll lose power, even over stock. Absolute waste of money unless you just like induction noises and nothing more
Cold air intake probably killed the already shitty-ish mileage (this car should routinely achieve 40 mpg but 400 lbs of unnecessary weight made sure that wouldn't happen).
You seriously wasted your money for a three to five horsepower gain if you even got any... The engines tune for the factory air box. They've proven that 99% of the time there are little to no gains at all for these aftermarket filters. Especially on a car that has a mass air flow sensor where it left more particles in and the sensor gets dirty a whole hell of a lot quicker. So I'd send you one from 109 horsepower to 112. Maybe. I made a mistake when I was at Young spending money on a car not even worth a trade in value of two grand.
@@JustinMods just don't be disappointed when you don't get what you think the value of the car is worth when you go to sell it one day. Just trying to look out for your interest man! 🤟
