You’re totally right about scents made by companies in which fragrances are not their main focus or niche. Those ones are made to appeal to the widest variety of people possible, so they tend to be more linear. That’s why I prefer niche fragrances for the most part.

You said it perfectly!! They’re a great entry into the fragrance world but once you’re in, it’s easy to leave them behind 🌚🌚 (with a few exceptions)

Actually dior got started in fragrances. Also Maison francis kurkdjian sold his brand to LVMH a few years back and he is now head perfumer at dior. Also before MFK started his own brand he was making perfumes for designer brands such as Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea.

TOTES agree about designer fragrances. Once you experience niche it opens a whole new world of possibilities. I had Libre Intense and it unfortunately gave me a headache after several hours which had never happened before.

Libre intense did the same to me! I got compliments but I couldn’t take it 😂 so I gave it to my friend who loves the original (which I was never impressed with)

I have the Diptique and the Prada and a different version of libre. I also like baccarat rouge but I haveva dupe called all saints sunset riot. Now I am very curious about the rest! Thanks for the inspiration ❤

I have both Baccarat and for the EDT, the absolute perfect dupe is Armaf, untold. I tried alllllll the dupes out there for it and none is as good as Untold. Not only it smells identical but it also smells like a high quality fragrance. On clothes it also lasts a long time, a few days. For the extrait, the perfect dupe that I found is from Al Haramain, Amber oud rouge edition ❤ I honestly tried every single dupe recommendation that there is for the Baccarat, and these are totally worth it 🥰

I totally agree that ysl/ Lancôme/ they all have almost The same DNA and doesn’t give me chills. Like they don’t input effort in new perfume, but in the same time perfumers are the same som are making expensive niche I really don’t know how it works there but you can see different between niche and mass-market brands🤷🏼‍♀️

Thomas Kosmala No. 4. I have never smelled bacarat but I do own Thomas Kosmala no.4 and everyone says it’s a good bácarat dupe. I’d love to for you to smell it and let us know if they are similar. Thank you for the video 🙏🏽

TY 🫶🏼 I love both for different occasions and reasons, Her is a beautiful girly, flirty scent that I’ll wear all day long. Baccarat Rouge is rich auntie vibes so whenever an event calls for the schmoney auntie, that’s what I’m wearing.

Thank you! I definitely prefer fleur de peau. They are similar in the sense that they are skin scents and powdery to me but that’s all. The glossier is nice though and they’re finally at Sephora so we don’t have to blind buy anymore.

I agree for the past two years I’ve stuck with niche fragrances because designer just hasn’t done it for me 🤷🏾‍♀️ I do have glossier and I use it as a gym scent but love le labo another 13 ❤️

AFAIRemember, at the time of my comment, the closest 'clones/dupes/alternatives' to Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau De Parfum is ARMAF Club De Nuit untold EDP. (always sold out for now - referring to fragrancebuy-ca - for around USD50 of 100mL) On a side note, it has been said that Club De Nuit untold EDP during the dry down is more like Baccarat Rouge with a little twist.
