I’ve realized that the controls or controlability can either make or break a game. That’s why Mario 64 is still a great one because the physics of the movement were on point. But Sonic 3D blast is unplayable, and even the sonic adventure games after looking back had some flaws.

Considering playing more mario 64 ont he wii U while watching a classic film on Netflicks. That or more game and watch gallery 2 on the 3DS.

One of the many reason's I dig you Larry, is that you're constantly showing up in the comments for other youtubers. You genuinely love all this stuff as much as we do.

In my opinion that was just a cop out. It was early 3d and Titus hadn't put out any 3d titles previously that would prove that they could do much better. If you've ever played the psx version, or the "finished" version, its not much better.

Did Titus make any good games?

@@ToejamandEarl1983 3d chess was, objectively good for a chess game, if you like that sort of thing, and every 2d game I can remember playing from the 16bit era were mediocre at best, so no, from my experience I they haven't put out any

Batman Returns is one of my favorite SNES games of all time, as well as one of the best movie adaptations ever made.

I loved 'Batman Forever' on SNES. Then I played 'Batman Returns' and had my eyes opened to what a good brawler actually is.

It'd be dope if NRS made a modern MK Mythologies similar to Ninja Gaiden, Devil Cry, or MK Shaolin Monks.

I wish they revisited this idea and worked with the people who made the newest batman games. This batman games have great combat and exploration and good puzzles. Thats exactly what you'd want in a MK game like that. Those batman games are some of my fav games all time.

At first I didnt believe you in that rugrats scavenger hunt was a bad game. Then I googled it and saw first hand how terrible it is. I was like wth. When I was thinking rugrats I guess I was thinking the ps1 game.

I rather play those old THQ N64 wrestling games in HD than WWE2K20.

Man I hated those games. I was a big wrestling fan back then but I just couldn't stomach WCW vs nWo. It looked so bad and the audio was horrible. The most fun wrestling games for me were the more arcade oriented ones. Wrestling is more like a real life fighting game/soap opera, so it just doesn't work for me when it's set up as a sports game. This is also why I absolutely hate WWE2kwhatever. Give me Fire Pro, give me WWF Arcade.

I have played Earthworm Jim 3D and it's incredibly average. Mid-tier 3D platformer of the 90s.

@@mikeburkhardt7893 dude, crap - I meant Warzone. I got confused. Warzone was the game I played...I just looked at the cover of Warzone and yeah, that's the one I meant. I don't think I played Attitude. But you gotta admit, hitting someone with a chair was fun!

@Samson Holdsworth Same. It came with Wave Race I think and we got Mario 64 at the same time. The nes and SNES were put away around the same time, forgotten for several years while we enjoyed the wonders of this new amazing 3d console. 8 and 16-bit games are what I played when I was really young, but the 64 was the system my siblings and my cousins and I all played together. It's the one where some of my best childhood gaming memories come from. Rounds of Diddy Kong racing or Mario Kart, GoldenEye matches, me and my little brother playing through Ocarina of Time together, getting to watch him fall in love with zelda, he was too young to really get LoZ and Adventure of Link, he became obsessed with Zelda for a while because of that game, my mom made him a Link costume for Halloween one year, we rented that game over and over again, but never bought it, we got majora's mask and later windwaker though. So many games though we all played together, smash Bros, mario party(controller killing bastard that it is), conkers bad fur day muliplayer(literally the best multiplayer death matches ever conceived. The beach...omg...all of them just pure fun), i dunno so many games. So many great 4 player games, too many to list. The N64 was the best system to get a bunch of people in a room together and just have fun. No other system has managed to match this except for some GameCube games. Sure, there was a bunch of bad games, but there was so much experimentation and just a general focus on fun. I really miss that era of gaming. We always imagined what the future of video games would be, sadly, the future has never lived up to our imaginings. We never imagined a world of microtransactions and games that are more movie than game. We pictured all these great game mechanics being expanded and games becoming more mechanically immersive, instead we got QTE's, hour long cutscenes and grooming a horses asshole.

No release day 100gb patches… those were the days.

i still have mine..it works too (unlike some of my other consoles which i had to re-buy...glory of old tech) i get it out every now n then to enjoy it.

@@AdamKnappDoesMovies because the N64 relied upon cartridges to play games...not CDs...and cartridges were far more reliable than CD's

hey i grew up on original Nintendo 1987 and a little of Atari which i played before the nintendo, and it is even older 79 82 ish, now how old do ya feel ?? heehee

Maybe azad video on good ports. Oddly duke nukem 3d despite being heavily censored manages to be an amazing port. Sometimes beating the pc original due to improved wespon sprites.

Batman and Robin by Konami and Death and Return of Superman by Sunsoft got it right

@A World Under A Spell I don't think the N64 was terrible. It had a lot of good games and for the time, it's graphics were really good. Ofcourse it had some terrible games too, but I don't think your opinion represents the general sentiment towards the N64.

@A World Under A Spell I don't know if you watch Sega Lord X but he named the N64 as his favorite non Sega console of all time. All of my friends have pretty fond memories of the N64. I don't think you exactly have the popular opinion here.

I always lost my direction after every battle. N64 always lacked RPGs compared to PS1 and this is one of the worst.

Seemed like once you unlocked the top "earth" spell the game was on easy mode.

I remember renting Quest 64 as a 12 year old, not realizing how terrible it was. I beat it over that weekend, I still remember getting down to my last healing item on the final boss and just squeaking it out. Good memories.

I own 90 games for the N64, and I think all of them are worth playing. Saying the N64 only has 10 good games is a myth. Yet you hear that so much that many people, like you, now believe it is true.

hell no CF63 1/3 is great, you just havent given it a real chance, when you learn how to play it it's quite fun.

Both bad, but the nod goes to Dark Rift for not working on all TV sets back in the day.

@@johnhancockretro The only good thing about Dark Rift was that it was one of the few titles on the 64 that ran at 60 FPS.

It helps more on some games, even is necessary to play certain games. Sacrifices frame rate on some games though. Well worth it.
