We teach our softball catchers to present pitches the same way. Having a consistent presentation for the umpires will win you more strike calls. We’ve got a great video on our online platform where I discuss this exact topic; you can check it out here: catchingiqonline.uscreen.io There’s a free 3 day trial of the site… hope this helps. Thanks
Hey, thanks for watching the video! I played college baseball and played a few seasons overseas in Australia and a couple in Europe as a player/coach. I also run a training facility in Colorado where I work primarily with catchers.
@@SquishDaBug Glad the videos are helpful! And good luck to him this coming season! If you guys are interested in having access to the catching drills and mobility exercises we do at our facility, we have an online platform that would be perfect for you guys: catchingiqonline.uscreen.io/ Hope to see you guys on there, you can make video requests on the online platform and I can make a video specific for you guys. Thanks again for watching
@@SquishDaBug Does it matter if he played in college or even mlb? Even a guy who never played can still learn and teach the game. The best player ever at hitting couldn't teach hitting. The average pitcher taught Nolan Ryan to pitch and Tom Brady to throw a foot ball.
