It's so funny that anybody ever thought Dyami was over Luke when it's a new regime and they drafted Luke and his last name is McCaffrey XD. He's WR3 with WR2 upside it's not even a competition, Dotson is only a stone's throw from being a bust himself, Dyami nearly didn't make the team several seasons. Luke led the rookie class of WR's in contested catches and has a great vertical and tested better than CMC on a lot of physical metrics at combine... People are sleeping so hard I question which team they root for. Newsflash, Dyami isn't breaking out. He might have a nice couple plays or a touchdown this season if he's lucky. He runs good routes but his hands are unreliable. Crowder and Zaccheus are more than likely WR4/5. I don't get why that's even hard to understand but a lot of people seem to think that Luke isn't a key player on this offense despite being a top 100 pick. Dyami's ceiling is WR4 this season. Luke has much better hands and his routes will improve quickly between Terry, JD5 and CMC mentoring him. A lot of people clearly have never seen Ed McCaffrey film or the wild catches Luke made in college.
The Dotson doubters are hilarious. He was getting thrown to by Sam trash Howell who couldn't even get Terry the ball. The fact that Dotson even looked good with Wentz throwing to him shows that he just needs a tall QB who can actually see him on the field. Which we have now with Jayden.
@@markantony9038 I'm not doubting that Dotson's upside is WR2 but his floor is only WR3 this season and he could easily be overtaken given: A: He was not drafted by this regime. B: He dropped way too many touchdown/first down plays last season regardless of who was throwing him the football. He only had 500 yards last season because of it and we lost momentum in games early in the season partly because of him. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a decent season but he's going to be competing for touches and might be better off used as a decoy if he can't get more reliable hands. Qb vision doesn't have anything to do with his poor play last season.
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, however I think you a bit overboard on Sam (even Tom Brady would look like trash all things considered) Howell. IMO Sam will do well in a decent set of circumstances. As I said you certainly are entitled to your opinion.
@@rocketman7887 Where did I even mention Sam once? I don't think you're even replying to the right comment. This is about Dyami being the most obvious bust ever. He had a ton of quarterbacks, nothing's changed. Dotson's halfway to being considered a bust as well, the drops were terrible last year. It's make or break for Dotson, Dyami's way past that, I can't wait until we can move on from him but he's signed through 2025. Nobody is going to want him, I guess he's just a 4.4 depth guy who's only good in practice. I could see him getting cut and going to the UFL next season or just being a camp body like he is now cause he's fast. I'd much rather see Crowder or Zaccheus on the field. People act like Dyami is a cat with 9 lives with how many chances he's had already, dude sells games by dropping half of everything. I can run a 4.4 40, doesn't mean I should play.
The thing is that Mr. Brown has talent. Someone has to take his position. No has been able to take his place thats why hes are number 3. He would have to drop to 7 if we keep 6. Name 4better receivers on the squad better than him?
Ed who in the world is in disagreement with you about McCaffrey over Brown? Brown might even be gone by the end of training camp. McCaffrey’s going to start over Brown. The one thing that Brown is really good at is blocking down field. I will give that to him, but other than that he’s been a huge disappointment. In my opinion at least.
dyami has proven he sucks. that dude shoulda been gone last year. We really should have tried to offload him for like a 7th rounder 2 years from now... getting past willy one time isnt something to crow about lol
