I can’t believe this happened I was wearing my Deni jersey today when this happened. But I want to thank Deni for playing with the Wizards because when he was drafted I was jumping for joy because a Jewish player from Israel and that I’m Jewish playing for my favorite team. I want to say Shalom Deni Shalom. That means Hello,Goodbye, and peace I’m going to miss my Wizraeli and The Jewish Mamba
I'm a fan of deni, I wanted to say that it was fun watching your podcast for several years that deni was in Washington, I wish you and washington lot of success in the future, thank you very much
@@pearsonw3 so you have another five years in you to wait on this organization to get right lol I bet we go through 2 different coaches by the time we start winning
@@patlsmusic The organization is clearly telling us to wait. We have hella future picks lol. You don’t have to stick around. We have assets, lets see what the front office do with it.
@@tianayates6564i didn't know 14 points is single digits. A 6'9 SF who does have scoring potential when he 43 points with 14 rebounds against N.O And he was their best defender who can also distribute the ball. Im not saying he's an allstar but that's a skillset you build around
We shouldnt of traded Deni hes the only guy I wanted to keep. Teams has to be shakin up I understand that we suck lol but like you said this draft stinks. Im sure its a few sleepers there always are
Dawkins really wanted the guard from Pittsburgh enough to trade Deni. Dawkins looked real happy at the end of the first round. Personally, I think the Wizards should have gotten more, but we’ll see
Front office wants 1st round picks. I remember OKC and Boston were criticized for stacking 1st round picks. Of course not every pick works out but both teams eventually found their core players. Sarr, Coulibaly, extra 2029 first round pick
Deni is super talented and gonna be solid for Portland, but Washington needs to be bad next year and develop the 19 year olds. I really like Sarr and Bub. I'm not sad about losing the Deni bandwagon fans!
I think the 2020s rebuild is officially over. Wiz are now building for the 2030s, they have no plans to Win in the next 4-5 years that's for sure. Now you got a roster full of players that can't wait half a decade in order to only get the chance at a chip, kuzma and poole and tyus won't wait another 5 years for the wiz to get it together, they wanna win now. What are you gonna do with Kispert and some of your other pieces? Just seems like they overthought this whole draft way to hard and they still didn't take in how much of a sabotage they committed. Like you said it's kinda like the gafford trade, it makes 0 sense for washington to restart a rebuild around alex sarr.
How a 6'9 SF who can distribute the ball & was the top on ball defender doesn't make the team better? Kuzma doesn't make the team better because outside of scoring he doesn't bring anything to the table.
Not that I really care about Danny leaving Washington, but remember what I'm saying, you lost one of the NBA's future sports stars especially if he stayed with you
Someone who scored 43 points against N.O. & got 14 rebs but the ceiling is low? While being the team's best on ball defender? I'm not saying he's an allstar but that's the type of skillset you build around
@@Tone22845 spare me. Time the Wizards stop settling for mediocrity and get some true athletic ballers on the court. You can point to any player’s unicorn game and make a case. If you can’t see him starting or first or second off the bench on a contender, the ceiling is low. Avdija been getting a pass for years because of the Israel card and fandom
@@lew218 someone who can get you 43 points & 14 rebounds in a gm cant come off the bench for a contender? It's a reason why GS wanted him. Name 1 thing draymond green can do that Deni cant? Y'all 🤡's will its the wizards organization not Deni
@@lew218 🤡 how are they gonna get top notch athletic ballers if they don't wanna sign with them in free agency? If you have 6'9 SF who distribute the rock & defend & was getting better by showing his scoring potential against by dropping 40 against N.O with also 14 rebs and then you trade him way for a washed up brogdon? If you can't bring top notch free agents you have to develop the young talent you have. Deni is 6'9 & can defend last yr rookie bilal coulibaly is 6'8 & can guard multiple positions & now you have sarr whose 7'1 & can guard multiple positions. That's what you build around because the wizards always sucks when it comes to defense. 🤡's like you can't see that's the only way they're going to get better because top notch free agents isn't coming to DC
@Tone22845 No you don't around a average starter!!!! You build around cornerstone players 2-3. This mentality is why this team has sucked for so long hanging on to average players trying to justify picking them!SMH!!!
@@danielmatthews3108 my point is he's better then poole & he brings more to the table then kuzma so wouldn't it make more sense to trade them?A 23 yr old 6'9 SF who can defend & and distribute the ball doesn't grow on trees. He showed what he can do when he's utilized properly against N.O. when he had 43 points & still able to 14 rebs. They're not going to be able to bring in top notch free agents so they have no choice but to develop the young talent they draft. And trading them as soon as they start showing flashes is gonna keep them at the bottom
@@Tone22845I see what your saying but Deni is not a elite cornerstone player. This team needs elite cornerstone players not average players. I would trade JP and KK and just let the young guys play because they can't be any worse. If your a championship caliber team adding Deni isn't a bad move for depth. But he's not a starter in my opinion and the wizards need starters now.
@@danielmatthews3108 you keep saying he's average but his attributes isn't average. A tall wing who can pass & defend & showed his scoring potential is what you build around. Trading that away for brogdon what that have to do with bringing in cornerstone players? Just because the wizards is a bad organization doesn't mean he's not a starter. Draymond Green is a starter but he never put 43 points & 14 rebs in a game. Deni did. So as 23vr old what makes you think he's not a starter?
Good move by the front office…. IVE BEEN SAYING IT ALL SEASON DENI WAS AHH FOR US…. WE PAID THAT MAN ALL THAT MONEY TO AVERAGE SINGLE DIGITS…. AND BROGDON IS A GOOD PICK UP IMPROVEMENT FROM THE 3 AND ASSIST…. AND HE KNOWS HOW TO FACILITATE BETTER THAN TYUS…. And I think we’re going to move on from Johnny Davis this about to be his third year and that man still doesn’t see the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️ Bagley is most likely gone our line up is going to be… brogdon poole bilal KUZ and Sarr
@@markantony9038 14.7 is great for y’all as a starter…. And no tf he was not coming off the bench he had more starts than he had coming off the bench…. Idk why yall mfers swear he was an off the bench player…. This like his fourth year and yall okay with 14.7 ppg… that’s why we will always be ahh…. And Deni wasn’t a team player just go back and watch the games I watched all 82 of them and he acted like Luka complaining waving his hands up and down not getting back on defense 🤣🤣🤷🏿♂️
Probably stating the obvious but still…. The toxic dani fans are just a few and naturally more vocal than the rest. I personally loved your analysis and that you didn’t fear to criticize deni when you felt like it. Thank a lot for probably two years since i first watched you😅 good luck!
Y🏀!!!! Ed O, We're in the mix #2 #14 & #26. We can rebuild our team with these picks and the#51, Could be more if we flip Kuzma. Develop these guys. Brogdon goes as quickly as he was traded. Salute Deni Str8 Up 🫡💪🏿.
Then ask for the 7th pick not 14th and another 1st 4 years from now. I'm pretty sure Dani is better than any player Portland will select at the 7th. This move does nothing for the team as far as rebuild goes unless Ted Leonsis wants to save money. Why trade Dani and keep Kuzma, Ty Jones and Poole ? This makes no sense.
