I'm definitely in support of you using your actual voice! The past voice sounded a bit robotic and had a super flat affect (which I now understand why!). Honestly, as a Portuguese speaker that moved to an English speaking country, your accent and pronunciation is great! Having a good delivery with emotion is so much better than the "perfect" pronunciation of the AI. Keep on!
I can relate about your concerns with your voice’s accent when speaking english(as I also don’t speak it as my first tongue), but your accent is great.
Finally, someone reised another trope pokemon. Like the regional mammal, bird, bug, pika clone, pseudo legend, fish.there is also a meme bird like farfetched, delibird, chatot, hawlucha, oricorio, cramorant... I only don't know who that was in gens 3 and 5... Tropius and sigilyph? And gen 9 has more than enough, squakabilly, bobirdir and flamigo
I prefer your regular voice it sounds more authentic. Plus the effort you put in your videos is worth watching even if your accent may be difficult for some to understand.
I’m so glad you’re using your natural voice now! Personally I have no trouble at all understanding your accent :) I think society places too much importance on sounding like a native speaker. But even native speakers of any language have some sort of unique accent. English is so different from Spanish too - we love reducing our vowels and jamming sounds together. Y tu suenas mejor en inglés que yo en español 😅 Looking forward to more of your stuff!!
glad you're moving away from AI, when I first found your channel I loved the animations, editing, and all the effort put into research. once I realized the voiceover was AI though, I was pretty surprised and stopped watching. don't let all the effort in your videos be tainted by AI, your voice sounds fine. trust me, i've watched many video essays with thicker accents that I didn't mind either lol
Ohhh, I knew something was up with your voice but I couldn't put my finger on it I'm a big fan of your work but it must be a lot (animations, reaserch, writing and editing) so I understand why you'd resort to AI to reach a broader audience since a lot of people are not willing to watch videos by people who don't speak English perfectly Ethics aside, I honestly don't mind hearing your real voice at all. The ai gave me some sort of uncanny valley at times with the way I could sort of hear you while also not being you..? It was mostly the clear lack of emotion that scared me at times I'm not a native english speaker either so I know it is very hard to learn all the rules of a new language. Honestly, the best thing you can do is practice, which sounds like really dumb advice (kinda like when they tell beginner artists to just draw) but it does make sense (personally I recommend listening to music and/or watching movies and shows in English. I learned a ton of pronunciation that way) Great video as always! I hope you have a great 2024 🌻🌠🎋
i wasnt really bothered by your voice personally, i dont ever think i would've known if you didnt tell it was ai but still, keep up the character development pal, im sure you'll get better every single video
Dont worry too much about your accent and pronounciation. It isnt as bad as you think. Keep on making Pokemon content using your own voice. It is still better to listen to than with an AI. It feels more reassuring to listen to real people speak. Also, Im sure you can practice english pronounciation and enunciation on your free time. Everyone isnt born with an accent. You can actually practice it.
@@talesofkarim An AI clone of your voice? Woah, technology is wild! You shouldn't have to feel insecure about your voice. We love and support you and your content! ❤
I definitely like the previous voiceovers more. There was always a very nice flow with your words, but that flow is broken now since you can hear that youre trying to focus on pronunciation. I hope you'll get more confidence in your own voice, because I really liked it when you have stories to tell, and flow was a big factor, but now its distracting.
