Mam Kino Loads of love from India. I have just started to practise yoga and this tutorial for the core was really helpful. Hope I will as flexible as you one day. Thanks for helping me out
Thanks Kino. I always appreciate the videos you release for free on RU-vid. I would love to see a video like this for getting prepared to perform handstand pike press and tic tocs.
Great!Thank you for these drills! I do those exercises every day and good news! I got up from the Laghuvajrasana yesterday on the beach!! It took me about 6 months of daily practice to make it happen) you never know when this moment will come but it is always a big surprise that makes you move on and gives you belief in yourself)) A warm hug from the Black Sea Coast , south of Russia) still hot summer weather is here) Namaste, dear Kino!!
Good morning from Edinburgh Kino and happy birthday! Thanks for another new video here on RU-vid. Has been amazing and challenging for me but I will keep trying and as you say, the secret is practice, practice, practice. Enjoy your day! Namaste.
Hey Kino.. You are simply amazing.. Have become your fan offlate watching your videos.. Getting into such poses while talking without losing a breath!! It's simply wow!! I have been practicing yoga since 2 years and more regularly in this lockdown time.. Can you help me with a link to relieve my right leg hamstring pain.. It pains while I stretch for janu shirsasana.. Thanks
So glad you’re practicing. Where is your hamstring pain? If it’s in the sitting bone, you have to be careful as that is the attachment. But if the pain is in the belly of the hamstring muscle, keep going gently. Be sure to engage your quadriceps as these are antagonistic muscles and can help release the hamstrings.
@@KinoYoga Yes, I feel pain in the belly of my hamstring before warm-up and feels ok during the session.. When I press my fingers into the belly of my hamstring, there is some tingling sensation which sometimes radiates from the butt bone and to the knee as well.. Thank you so much for your suggestions.. I will engage my quadriceps and try to go slow.. I don't want to stop practicing as am really in good rhythm and body is getting to better shape than ever before.. Glad that you had time to reply to me.. Namasthe from Bangalore 🙏
Thank you Kino, loved it! Just finished this practice. I would love to see a similar format video for releasing hips/stretching out hamstrings and overall leg flexibility. I find that my legs are tight and it's pulling on my back and throwing me off alignment, well I push myself and then it happens.
Hi Kino.. These look so simple but real hard specially Lolasana nd other sitting postures. My husband suffers from sciatica nd hence suffers from immense leg pain, could you pz suggest any asana for the same? Thanks
They are SO hard! :) Have him lay with his legs up the wall for a few minutes, then, with legs still on the wall have him take them to Baddha Konasana position for a few minutes. This releases the lower back where the sciatica stems from. Sometimes it can last awhile, sometimes it can go away quickly.
Kino, my girlfriend has been trying these exercises and often experiences an embarrassing side effect of releasing gas in certain positions. She was too embarrassed to ask so I said I would for her. Is this normal sometimes?
I remember reading in Vogue magazine they were doing a yoga class in (I think it was Africa, the pictures were beautiful and the building of a couple of pictures they took looked like this. And the article said a Tiger walked in, and none of them were at ease and relaxed when the tiger just calmly laid down and watched the class. Africa's animal police went and got the tiger out. So-why didn't they breathe deeply and relax???? (joke) I guess not even yoga techniques could make them relax in the yoga class. Yoga has its limits, or humans have their limits.
I thought that was so funny. I read this in Vogue quite a few years ago. My (late) boyfriend would tease me about that story everytime i did yoga in the living room-it was shiva rae's dvd, after reading the vogue story. I had only found out about you a few months ago and you are amazing. But when i did a yoga DVD after that vogue story, he teased me about relaxing but it was a joke referencing to why were all the people in Africa not breathing to relax when that tiger walked in, It was so funny. and it was really funny because no one got hurt also. Yes,Animals are so amazing, mysterious and also your videos of other countries. That video with that fruit stand, that man carrying all those watermelons on his bicycle, (look breathe posture) it feel like it opens my mind. Your insta is wonderful too.
