Hi! question, so even when the game is released, they will continue updating the game with new characters or events???, or maybe they're just releasing the final product with a number of characters and that's all? I'm very curious because that sounds amazing.
Ilsa and Silva is my best bet. There is already 2 gun users but they both fall under the midranged machine gun play. I think Ilsa would provide a close to mid range options for players, flexible in any situation, while Silva can have a long range option of hitting less but hard. Maybe a mechanic that more further away targets, more damage Another one would be Yngwie, I think we lack shield wielders in the game. Maybe mechanics that punish enemies when getting blocked at a right time and give allies near him some defensive buffs
Seeing this game's long development, it makes me glad this isn't a publisher owned IP, where the publisher owns and funds the IP/project and _not_ the devs. Had this been a Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, or even Sony owned IP, the game's development would've been a very different story.
Just a heads up, they most likely can't just translate a model from rising to relink. The way they need to operate would be very different, so they would need to be rigged differently and they don't have the same level of detail either there's very unlikely any reduced workload between the two. Also, since Versus Rising is developed by a completely different and private studio, they probably do not share technology.
That’s a VERY good point. So a better way to phrase it likely would be these characters have already been identified as unique enough for a fighting game which could translate to bring unique enough for Relink with a few exceptions.
@@TagTheLegend yeah that’s a valid point for sure. It it also might not be so simple, while sharing tech between games companies is often limited, I would assume they do share certain data. So one thing they might know is what the reaction to different characters is. It might be that, the less popular characters in rising don’t make it into relink. Maybe they look at the data from rising and decide a new character is better than an a character that hasn’t seemed popular in another game. I don’t know who is unpopular with the player base in Rising though.
I think it's more like they wouldn't have to fund effort into creating a 3d model from scratch. Rather they can just use one as reference, and make another in almost no time at all, comparatively.
@HalfBoiIed Yeah of course. But I meant they don't have to waste time on a design team, like they would for creating an all new character. Rather, they can look at another model and copy it. No character building, since it already exists
Sandalphon being playable would be amazing! I would love if they adapted the "What Makes the Sky Blue" storyline. That's an amazing story for people to meet and see Sandalphon's character
With Lucilius/Lucifer casually knocking at our doorstep, I can see him following behind, maybe even Lucio will tagged along. But my guess is that there might be couple evokers and those frequently appears in 4koma are more likely to comes. Such as Jin and Soriz or those with high relationship with support cast like Farrah & Juri or Vira(Which is the representation of Luminera/Chevalier that lack thereof, where Ferry is from the island of Celeste) Altho Song is a nice addition to Range team, I wish they come along with Silva, Eustance or Ilsa to bring more firearm/range(ish) options to the table filled with melee dorminance roaster. Man, there's so many wishful addition I want to happens, we can only wait and see, I guess. Zooey, one of Magna II, one of Six-Advent, one of the 12 generals, etc. Even playable Lyria with her skill set of summoning the 4 primal will do. I can't help but wish to see every possible person on how will they show off in this full blown action setting that no longer bounded by the simplified webgame format.
Not having played the mobile game or versus but just looking at all the possible characters my top 5 wanted list would look something like this: 1. Magisa 2. Lucio 3. Belial 4. Ilsa 5. Zooey Not gonna happen bonus. Michael These were based on design, jp voices and playstyle
Instead of Nier, I think Orchid would more relevant. And please don't ruin the game with random collab characters... I really DON'T want a collab character in this game, let it be it's own thing and there's so many good characters that could be used instead of random manga protag. The characters I would want: Vikala, Anthuria (dodge tank please!!), MONIKA, Noa and Wilnas or Lu Woh
I expect Sandalphon to be added to both Versus and Relink due to the fact that he always tops the popularity charts. Plus he's cool and loves coffee also the Sandalphon you showed in the vid is a "what if" version of him where he turns pure evil. They might add in the regular Sandalphon (who is still a pretty badass character despite not being "full" power)
Nah that's a what if, that's just Sandalphon from shortly before his debut event, his fate episodes even show him stealing the wings of the Four Primachs, something we only see the end result of.
@@PurpleBadger331 Grand Sandalphon is literally a "Fantasy" unit. The actual Sandy that joins the crew is the Light Event version hence why I said a "What If" version since this Sandy isnt the version that joins you.
It probably won't happen but: i want metera and eutice. I know that the game already has two gun users but eutice just looks cooler and has more tools in his kit.
Metera was actually in a super early reveal trailer of Relink but we dunno what happened to her. Either she got cut or turned into Tweyen (April character) since they both are bow users who float
I don't know enough about the individual characters. Anila would be awesome, we don't have a polearm user yet. Beatrix looks awesome too. Wouldn't be surprised to see 2B as a collab unit. I'd love to see a Monster Hunter collab, as unlikely as that is. But it would be perfect cuz giant monsters.
@@navatheramenguy3127 Halberds are polearms. Vane wasn't in the fighting game though, until Relink came out, I was only familiar with the fighting game characters.
This is the only game I wish was a game as a service, It's been a little worrisome how other than the new boss and 2 new characters, there might not be much else post release. The mobile game has so many cool characters and collabs, It would have been so sick to have new bosses, collabs and events regularly. I want at least a male spellcaster.
What makes you think a character model made for a fighting game in a different engine by a completely different developer ( Arc System Works) would be used for Relink ?
Also need to consider that they seem to want a 50/50 male a female split. We need a male caster and female gunners. Need male polearm wielder and a female pugilist or striker. Sandalphon probably not happening. Grimner would be nice. Aila is definitely happening for sure if they make more after duo in april.
Ferry can summon her pets actually if you saw it on Havian vid. I would rather it's from Cygamesverse char than collab actually, theres so many cool char on cygamesverse.
Honestly , a BlazBlue character would be sick. BBDW already has a crossover with GBF (Narmaya as a playable character) , so it would be sick. KNY crossover is sheer copium , though.

Sharlotta and Io are considered Light element, Vane is earth and Yodarha is wind, not water for any of those. Yes, they do have water versions, but generally they're NOT considered as water characters.
If they had to add an evoker I hope they add Fraux just because she'd have a playstyle similar to Bayonetta And if we had a general I'd love vikala or kumbihira
I want this game to also add Beatrix to the game. I would love to play as her in relink and Rising ( shes been confirmed to be dlc for rising in may) Plus they are allowing players to link their relink game to granblue to get items so hopefully they add Beatrix
Yo hell no. Vikala, I guess you don’t know Vajra. And Nier, dude Lobelia is by far the coolest Evoker next to Geisenborger. The only character that SHOULD be added is Beatrix along with Eustace so you can have a Society squad like the Dragon knight squad Oh, and Robomi and Nicolas and Ayer and Feather
I don’t agree with you an alphen being too similar, he uses 2 types of longswords where one actually drains his hp for damage, it would make for a really interesting high risk high reward playstyle
Idk how popular they are but I hope metera and Yuel gets in one day love those two I got into the mobile game last year and it’s a tone of of fun but none of the current picks you mentioned that could happen are hitting for me besides grimnir The two already announced I liked in the mobile game somewhat so I don’t mind them
I don't think they are gonna use assets from versus and use it to relink. The most they can do with it is use it as a reference. And versus and relink uses completely diffferent engines. And we have cases where a game in development are moved to different engines and a lot of the assets made in the first one are scrapped and made new ones for the new engine.
Not trying to Gatekeep but seeing you make guesses on Characters and a Franchise you seem to know barely anything about is kinda strange and just seems like following the newest trend. At least do some research on the Franchise and the characters, man. Personally, I'd love to see Characters that arent in Rising, for diversity. Sandalphon is literally the fan favorite Character, so he's a no-brainer. I'd prefer an Evoker that wasnt Nier, hoping for Alanaan, personally but wouldnt mind the others either. Grimnir I'd replace with one of the Archangels or maybe even Halluel&Malluel, as a duo character they could have a unique Playstyle for sure. Vikala is good though, she's my favorite Divine General
I really want to see Alexial in the game she would be another cool character of a great sword fighter despite she's in the granblue fantasy mobile game but she hasn't been revealed for the rising game as of yet
So is this going to be something similar to Genshin where you have to keep buying new characters or buying things to gamble for characters? Don't take offenese by me asking if this game is some pay2win thing.

We don't have any Bro users in Relink so the Lowain bros are very likely and for collabs, I guess Cygames is in good terms with Square so maybe Clive from XVI? I'd rather have Terra or someone else but Clive would be free advertising.

I would love to see Mugen in either game definitely believe he would have a unique fighting style since he could end up going into a rampage the more damage allies take since its somewhat how he goes rampage in the gacha game.

Dont agree with these 5 options, except for Beatrix, because shes coming soon also for Versus Rising, it woudl be weird if shes not coming for Relink too, as she belongs basically together with Zeta. My Wishlist/ Hopes and Predictions are rather 1) Beatrix 2) Anre 3) Soriz 4) Anila 5) Metera to make first more of the fitting options from Versus playable in Relink too. However, the IP has so many cool characters, its basically a never ending money maker for Cygames to add constantly for both games always more characters. But these named 5s I think woudl make the most sense and I'm very surprised, that the first two DLC characters are somethign totally new and not first say Beatrix and Metera or Anre and Metera. In the end its very likely, that they will add Characters, which will broaden the versatility of the already existign weapon types, that are covere,d as eventually add new characters, that logically aren't way too exotic, that they have for a single character extra a complete new weapon type, just so that the character can work in the game.
Hard Disagree, I'd prefer Characters not yet in Rising to show other Characters off to Beginners to the Franchise. Beatrix and Zeta dont belong together either, thats more Zeta and Vaseraga. Sure, Bea and Zeta are Friends and work for the same place but Vaseraga is Zetas Bestie. They have multiple Events showing that off very well, one literally named "Right behind you"
