Downsides of Being Short
Downsides are being in crowds and only seeing backs. It's claustrophobic. Shopping for clothes has been a challenge in the past. The struggle to find pants is real. The shortest inseam that you can typically find is 30 - so tailoring can be costly.
The good news that companies are starting to get it - such as Peter Manning. Their clothing fits! Peter Manning was frustrated, being a man of modest stature, with shopping for clothes. Closing Words from Alpha
Being short is freakin' incredible. It's not something to be ashamed of or embarrassed about. It boils down to you feeling good about who you are and confidence. If you use your height as an excuse, stop because you can't change your height. Instead, embrace it! Get comfortable in the fact that you won't get taller. Tall men have no advantage over short men.

lions dont live in the jungle and neither do giraffes. lions are easily in the top 1% when it comes to size of creatures in their area especially if you include insects. a single kick from a giraffe can kill a lion near instantly and the main reason giraffes lose is because lions are pack animals and team up.

All my cousins grew like 3 inches between their 18-21 ages as we all hit puberty pretty late. It’s all about genes, your diet n how the amount of sleep you get.

Hi, I am approximately 5' 5," and the average height for a woman in my country is around 5' 4." For me, it is more about cars, my walking speed, and the way tables are set than anything else. There are certain cars that I feel like I have to really duck down to get into or out of, because either they are too low to the road, or the doors are too small. Short people, try getting into or out of a kiddie car, and you just might see how I feel. On the other hand, there are other cars (like my dad's pickup) that I feel like I have to jump or pull myself up to get into or out of, because they are so high up. My mom's Subaru is a car that I can get into comfortably, because it is low enough to the ground where I do not feel like I have to jump or pull myself up to get in or out, but at the same time, it also has enough ground clearance (and the doors are generously sized enough) where I don't feel like I have to duck down too far. Also, if I am sitting at a table that appears to have been set with shorter people in mind (which most tables seem like they are), I feel like I have to bend my elbow sideways, JUST to grab my drink. What makes it worse is if someone is sitting right next to me. Short people, try sitting at a kiddie table, and you will see how I feel. I have also been told that I walk fast (I have long arms AND long legs). I hate it when I am walking with other people, and they tell me to slow down. I do not have as much of a problem walking by myself, but when somebody slower is walking in front of me, then that throws me over the edge. Short people, try walking with a group of snails, or having them walk in front of you, and you will see how I feel.

That That it's not about how much you eat, its what you eat that actually that can contribute with height. However it's 90% genes but the other 10% is a healthy with a consistency of 60% veggies and greens and the other 40% of carbs and protein aswell as daily exercise can be a benefit. Even if It doesnt work for you it never hurts to be the healthy person compared to the majority of people 😉

The saddest thing was when I stopped growing , and alot of people I knew started growing taller than me. Almost Everyone I knew that was short as a kid, became taller than me by the end of highschool. I’m an average height dude where I’m from ( 5’9 ) but tbh I feel short because of 3 reasons 1: when your average height people still treat you like your short just because your not 6+ feet tall , and in general people don’t take you as serious as if you was a taller person. 2: since I’m average height , half of everyone I see whenever I go outside is taller than me, and most of the people I see that are taller than me, is almost always a few inches taller (like around 6’1 or 6’2) 3: sports , whenever I play sports it’s usually against taller people which is annoying because they can reach over me easily. It doesn’t help that my hands are also really small for my height aswell, so I have trouble catching, and my hands are too small to even palm a basketball But with that being said, I am learning to accept my height. And I even started Exercising a lot and doing things to make my height not affect me as much

It's all about attitude and confidence it doesn't matter if your tall or short if you don't have the right mindset then you wont achieve what you want. If a tall guy goes up to a girl all nervous and has no confidence then she more then likely wont want to date that guy if a shorter guy walks up to her and has confidence and the right attitude then 9/10 times shes gonna like him more then the tall guy. You can't change your height but you can change things like healthy skin,mind set, confidence, and being successful, don't focus on something you can't change for the rest of your life live it to the fullest and don''t think because your short you cant achieve great things. I’m 5 8 years (shout out marky Mark) and what I’ve realized is you don’t need to fool yourself about height being a desirable trait... I.e. “TALL, dark, & Handsome”.. but between confidence and taking care of yourself... you should have no problems. Be grateful you’re alive.

I'm just under 6', 6" tall. I have not done all that well with women, and never made the slightest attempt at dating until age 30 (53 now). It's time to start a movement to make all those narcissistic and shallow people shut the f...k up and show some respect and compassion. It's no one choice to be short and one can't change it. It's time for everyone(especially for women)to realize that's it's a real problem for short men which has to be addressed finally. It's an outrageous form of open bodyshaming and discrimination. I remember in middle school I used to always wish I was tall. I was small, scrawny, and short, I was tired of being a tiny kid that nobody ever paid attention to, so I started working out, I made my own routine and workout plan. I watched videos on how to do basic workouts at home, Eventually I formed a 6 pack and my arms started to bulk up. Then I started going to the gym and went often to workout and get stronger and bigger, I’ve been working out since the 6th grade and honestly I don’t even care that I’m short, being tall was never my goal, my goal was to be noticed and it definitely was accomplished. I’m 18 now, still only 5’6 but I couldn’t be more happier with what I’ve accomplished with myself and my body. Whether your short or tall, love who you are and embrace it. Have a nice day everyone.

Its weird because I live in canada and most of the highschool kids are 5’10 or 6 feet and above, so I feel bad about my height but then When I look at the flipside and consider how lucky I got to be even 5’6 and half considering I have such short parents. Lol being short was a normal thing during the 50-60s according to my psychology professor. The only reason why it became an issue is because of the Hollywood/tv/cartoon influence, where they cast super heroes/actors/animated characters that are 6ft2 and above. But of course there is no denying that height is a factor in now days western societies, whether you like it or not.

Growing up I was always the shortest in my class. Its been easy to avoid fights and bullies my whole life, unfortunately the ladies avoided me too. Its a double edged sword

Honestly the one thing that annoys me about being short is that people tell me be confident and dominant. Im just a chill dude man why i gotta act all tuff just to get some respect.

My husband is 5'2" and he's a stud! My guy never walks with his head down, has a firm jawline; and looks a helluva a lot better breaking it down on the dance floor. Might I add he's got the confidence of a 10'2" tall man. I will say this; when I met him he almost had too much confidence as the way he explained it "American girls have been brainwashed since childhood to only view taller men as adequate mates" so he pretty much blew me off at 1st not realizing I was into him! Maybe with all the rejection in his life he almost didn't see the blessing in front of him. Either way, all it takes is confidence; but not too much! lol might miss something good that's right in front of you!

NO, no one's brainwashed, it is scientifically proven that females always prefer tall males no matter how short they are, look into it, it's instinct not brainwashing, girls in general will always prefer a tall guy with a good face, all this hype and lies abt confidence and personality are pure comforting horseshit

S1lk R0ad No it depends more so on the social culture. Look at Japan for example. Ladies over there prefer more softer and shorter guys. They prefer more passive and less dominant men.

I'm 6'2 and I like my height but there are definitely advantages to being 'shorter'. Like needing less muscle to become aesthetic, clothes will fit better, you'd fit better in planes/cars/busses, you can be better at certain skills in sports (dribbling in football etc). Just be happy with urself, there's pro's and cons to everything!
