Thanks. Just picked up one of these on sale and really like it. Super underrated camera capable of a lot more than just vlogging. Great sensor, really good lens, good mic, best in class AF, downsampled 6K video etc...and it fits in your pocket. Cant beat it IMO.

I love my ZV-1, it complements the A74 really well. I take the ZV-1 out the majority of the time, for the reasons you mentioned.

Great Video Sidney! I use the A7siii for my main camera but I have two ZV-1's as my B and C cameras. Great for top down but also has a product mode that bypasses the eye focus to focus on what is closest to the lens. No more covering your eyes with the product. I also use it for most of my walk and talks. It's light and I can hold it all day without my arm falling off. My A7sii is way too heavy for this old man to hold up for more than 20 seconds. I just purchased an M3 gimbal which, when paired with the ZV-1, should make the perfect walk & talk rig.

I use this a my "walk around the room/B cam". It's also a great dad, take pictures of the fam camera. I also use it as my main interview camera when on a showroom floor.

Definitely the best webcamera. Hands down, I use it everyday at work. Also, you are right about the standard picture profile. Struggles in low light but give it light and it is great.

The main drawback l think, is the one inch sensor reduces the chances to get a blurry bg. The 1.8 will help a little but it is what it is. I wish they made something like this but with 1.4....or with 4/3 sensor at least.

I had the ZV-1, it is indeed a great camera. However, the ibis is unusable. I shoot more run and gun for broll and travel videos, so this didn't work for me. I see it being perfect for tripod shots or top down like you displayed here.

I've wanted a camera since my childhood. And I get closer my goal as never before. I just thought to buy zve10 and then I watched your zve10 vs zv1 video. After that, I watched your 13 mini video and I decided to buy an iphone instead of zv1 or zve10 because my current smartphone has a very bad camera (especially in little bit low light.) But iphone has a good camera and can shoot 4k videos. So now, I want to buy iphone firstly 😂 thanks for your videos by the way.

It's pretty easy like he said. Very straightforward. Align the "shake" of the two clips together and you will see a similar result. Adjust to your taste and you're done!

If you're vlogging objects in front of you, go for it. If you are a vlogger that mainly films your face, look elsewhere. And don't use the 3rd party wide angle lenses. They are all bad, no matter what youtubers will tell you to make some bucks of your purchase.

Luis they've got wide angle adapters that will get you to around 18mm. Adds a little bit of size, but still not too bad. I get that's not an ideal solution for everyone though l.

It’s just the type of mount. Also, the RC2 has the strongest handled to screw in the plate to your camera without any tools!

It definitely charges the camera, but slowly. Def not to the point where it keeps it at 100% charged.

Its a full frame a7siii, and bigger than the ZV-1 (I have a video on these rumors). Slightly larger than the ZV-E10. Nothing beats the size of this zv-1. I would love to see a version 2 of this.

Hi bro, I have a sony Zv1 camera, but when I press the movie record button the camera display gets a little bit darker, other times the display is bright. Is this normal to these sony zv1 cameras or any settings to change??

Thats normal if you are recording in 4K. Quite a few Sony cameras do this to help with overheating issues.

Depends on what you want. The ZV-E10 has a larger sensor but youre going to spend a lot more buying lenses for it and it's not pocketable.

Feels a bit like a sales video to earn some more affiliate money since you don't call out the negativ aspects to your made points (low res streaming only suitable for facecams or zoom meetings, subpar stabilisation, low range ND filter, ...). That being said, the ZV-1 replaced all my previous big DSLR / SLT gear and is good enough for nice photos & videos during trips and since it is so compact I use it much more often than my previous setups. I esp love it on my gimbal for capturing dog trainings and similar jobs or for quick 'n' dirty slowmo b-roll @120fps / 1080p. :) // I heard in a few months the ZV-2 will come out. I really hope they keep the current lens or make it even better (more wide angle and or faster aputure).

I actually picked up a second hand ZV-1 last month for most of these reasons. Mostly because I was tired of my A7iv overheating in long zoom meetings 🤣 Though when I tried to use it as a B cam in SLOG 3 it came out way too noisy. You just use it with no PP and match it like that!? Loved the pacing and style of this video btw 👏

The RC2 is my jam! I use the Peak Design plate that works with arca and RC2, but totally prefer the RC2. Its a sweet overhead camera. I really want one, but holding out for a version 2. Love using my a7c for USB streaming. Its a great little camera. Good video as always!

The massive downside is that it overheats so fast! Even after changing the settings for this, it still overheats after 15 mins. For someone who records multiple videos in one sitting, this is infuriating!
