Thanks for sharing Jeremy. These are absolutely my favourite snakes. The most variable and hence potential for selective breeding in a python and definitely the most interesting to interact with without needing to fear a face bite or being defecated on. Thanks for promoting them and best of luck on your potential clutches this year. I hope you get a nice group of Ivory Jungles soon

It’s awesome you want to breed the ivory jungles. I have a 100% ivory jungle female I got from Nick Mutton about 3 years ago and she’s my pride and joy. Would love to see more of them out there.

I am Australian so carpet pythons are pretttyyyyyyy available here haha. I have a palmerston locality jungle carpet. Shes just over 2 years old now. The second half of her body towards her tail is way more yellow than the top half, but the blacks are really crisp and in natural light she looks amazing! Julatten are the next ones im chasing! I just enjoy the localities so much more I think!! I like that they are a little bit spicy when they are tiny though haha, my girl is so much better now though than when i first got her. I havent copped a bite from her in over a year now. She is a bit high strung, but totally handleable. If you're chill, she's chill. I love carpet pythons, my favourites along with antaresia! ^_^

i loooove my carpet python and i wanna get a pure jungle next! theyre so active and engaging. they do like to hunt at night though so you have to be careful if cleaning or something haha

I don’t interact with them at night at all unless I have to. They know if I’m doing anything at night that it’s feeding and that’s it. I do all of my interacting with them at night.ill be having 2 clutches of jungles this season and one that’s a jungle X caramel jag.

I will have at least 2 clutches of jungle carpets this year! The first clutch should be laid in about 2 weeks. Then it’ll take about 50 days for them to hatch. Then after they have about 5 meals they will be ready for sale after that. Keep watching the channel because that will give you the opportunity and I’ll tell you how to get on the waiting list for them during the clutch pulling. Wait list just gives you first crack at them before I list them on the market for the general public.

I was wondering if I could get your opinion on which enclosure size would be best for a jungle, if I'm hoping to keep them in the same enclosure throughout their life: a 48"x19x48, a 55"x22x24, or a 71"x19x24? Would your answer change between males and females? Thanks very much!

I would not recommend putting a baby into an adult sized enclosure. That will more than likely lead to a baby that feels insecure and become highly defensive. For an adult jungle I wouldn’t keep them in anything smaller than a 4’X2’X2’ enclosure. If you want to go bigger than that for an adult go right ahead. As adults they’re normally mellowed out and don’t have the insecurities that babies and juveniles have. The big thing is to upgrade the enclosure size and the baby grows.

Did you say Carpet pythons are your bread and butter? Prove it! Get rid of those boring ball pythons haha! Damn those babies are already massive. I think your holdbacks are already bigger than my holdbacks from a year and a half ago!

Lmao I could never get rid of the balls but the expansion I’m doing this year is basically for the carpets. It will double the size of my room and make the snake room half of my basement. For the size of the babies well dad is all but 7 foot he’s a big boy lol. The sister I held back is slightly smaller but not by much. Thanks for watching bro! Once the expansion is done there will probably be room for a Papuan or 2 👊

Might be missing the big picture....all snakes are so cool! Cut all of them some slack please...some can't help the human interpretation that they are "boring"!
