Another great video,over the years my wife and I have had eight Volvo’s and three Mercedes,the Volvo’s were easily the best cars.

One beautiful car,at Australia the base model BMW 320 i starts at $71,000 with the very harsh ride and huge price with out the options added the Volvo winds the award for pricing and features here the Inscription T5 starts at @ $61,000 AU so much cheaper than the BMW the next BMW 330i starts at @$78,000 AU with out options added.Go for the Volvo.

Volvo would sell more units if they upped the HP on their engines. Which means going to a 6-cylinder, turbo charged power plant. But it would kill the gas milage. Best seats probably in the business.

My 2020 V60 CC is only T5 engine, it's very smooth and it will top out at 130, but I wanna do a governor delete my old Saabs would do 150 mph. 😇 OH MY HAVE TIMES CHANGED.

@@johngaudet6316 Hey John, ya I have a V60 T5 fwd as a loaner right now, love it, feels faster than 0-60 in 6.2 might suggest, kinda disappointed in the MPG, last monthlong loaner was a 2020 330i base rwd, and yes I know it weighs less and maybe a bit more aerodynamic but I was getting 31mpg driving it hard, the V60 manages 24.8, 50/50 City Highway when driven somewhat normally and start stop on.

My boss has a 2017 xc90 witht the T6 and 220k miles. Has been extreamly reliable for him which is why i got a new V60.

I just found out that 2021 models do not have an AM radio tuner. How does one tune AM radio stations now?

That's a good question. From what I understand there are two ways around this regarding tuning to an AM station. First, you can just stream a station you like via your cell phone with whatever service you like. TuneIn, Radio.com, etc. Also, the S60 comes equipped with HD Radio. A lot of AM stations can be found on the sister FM sub stations. For example, in my NY area, 102.7 FM has an HD3 substation that airs 1010 wins, which is an AM news station. Of course, this all depends on your listening area and what is available to you. You can check out hdradio.com for more info. Hope this helps.

The B5 replaces the T5 and its only difference is the addition of a 48-volt mild hybrid. The B6 replaces the T6, which is not available on the S60, but the 2022 S60 still offers the Recharge (formally known as the T8)

Bextar636 If that’s your reason, then I can imagine that you don’t know much. Please don’t regurgitate the same old talking points everyone uses. Even the goofball that says “Rev up your engines”, calls Volvo Europe’s best luxury automotive company. Their prices are reasonable firstly , and the rest of your statement “ cost of parts, labor “, doesn’t make any sense as well.

I would argue that a negative point would be resale value. Doing a quick search of AutoTrader in my area(Boston/Metro West) it seems that this generation S60 with 10-15k miles on them have lost about $12-$15k in value since new (2019 model year). This was also true of the last generation of S60. No doubt, Volvos are great cars but I wouldn't recommend buying one new. Obviously, the SUVs will hold their value much better because of the decline in interest of the sedan segment. I would say if you're in the market for a new Accord or Camry, a used or ,better yet, certified pre-owned S60 would be great alternative and better value overall. Some that I've seen are CPO that are extendable up to 10 years/unlimited miles.

Michael Bonavita Now you my friend know how to look for a car. You’re don’t buy this car new, lease it. Researching is key to avoid paying unnecessarily for any vehicle. My true concern is quality when I decide to spend my money and I like being different with my vehicles. I have one these and I can confidently say Volvo’s quality and attention to detail is superb. Like I was trying to explain to Bextar636 without telling him much is if you want to dig in your pocket, be my guest. I have much greater things on my mind.
