Discover why Combined Army could be the perfect faction for you. The evil alien invaders are the focus of this video as I present 5 reasons why you should consider playing the Combined Army in Infinity.
I only just recently dove into Infinity and I am our local Avatar player. Loved your video and chuckled as you went from bullet point to bullet point. Sepsitors, Taigha creatures... solid breakdown.
Something fun you can do is use the Megalodron in normal Infinity games. They do have rules for it, but not for any tournaments. Still super fun to use on your friends, it also is absolutely terrifying for them because that things profile is utterly monstrous. BS 15, total immunity, ECM, MSV, pardon my french but the fucker is LOADED.
What do you mean evil!? We try to bring Ascension to all, actual apotheosis! Our diplomats are just taking a more direct approach to convince you of our goal.
Just for new players to know, recently I played NOURKIAS. He is one of the best (if not THE best) close combat fighter in the game, and he's part of the combined army and he got PROTHEION. During the game he killed 6 ennemies in close combat. Each time he get shot at and lose wounds BUT, each times he killed someone and EAT him/her... like a furious rampage zombie!! My opponent had to inflict 10 wounds to Nourkias to kill him! That was a pretty great game, even if I lost it! :P
My Anathematic got Berserked by a Kiel'Saan a few weeks ago... Nourkias teached him, why Im not afraid of CC in my own Deployment Zone😈 Playing Umbras more and more, they are realy fun👍
Hey Infinity Gamer, I am watching your videos from Germany and enjoy every single one of them, keep up the great work for our community and all the best to you!
Wish I had experience in this game to appreciate this more. But love the content. Would not mind if you reviewed the factions coming out in Blackwind. I haven’t decided which force I want to play because I love the aesthetic of both factions
Biggest difference between those Armys is the amount of Charakter Models you will play. Steel Phalanx has these almost Demigods like Achilles and Ajax wich are very tough to kill and can perform very well! Most of the time, you will think about wich of this guys will make up the bulkhead of youre List. Its very Elite like Lists with not so many Models. Hassassine have more finnese and some tactics that a lot of other Armys cant use. Like the Fiday, wich you will learn to love or fear, just like the Speculo Killer in this Video😉 If that dont help, maybe inform yourself about their Vanilla Factions, Aleph and Haqqislam. Wich ever way you choose, you cant realy make anything wrong with one of these😉 I might wanna play both because of their Gamemechanics, but dont want to play the good guys😜
I bought some infinity miniatures a few years ago. Yu Jing and Combined Army older starter sets - I think. I am a total noob. I am watching your channel to get into CodeOne. The Morat figures are very cool. Thanks for all of your great content.
Dude, awesome commentary! Love to watch you. Constructive criticism: add more photos of the units, show the stats, be more accurate with them :) (Ikadron is no 6-6 move, speculo really might get into deploy, etc)
@@the_infinitygamer I would also appreciate this. I am very new and the game isn't very friendly with showing images of the models or untis. Brilliant video. It made me buy into CA
I respectfully disagree about Morats needing less thinking. I would argue that due to their lack of tools and skills they need more thought than some other armies. Granted they have a definite function but successfully acheieving that requires strategy.
Could easily just be me! I felt O12 needed a lot of thinking to have them make a dent in the enemy but MAF can take a swing at almost anything. They have smoke and MSV, something Military Orders don’t have - so maybe I’m skewed having to come from a faction like that too.
@@the_infinitygamer I guess it's a personal view that could go either way. On one hand fewer skills / equipment = fewer rules = simple On the other hand fewer skills / equipment = fewer rules = less options to deal with certain scenarios = not flexible enough There's no wrong point of view. It's down to personal perference and play style. I think MAF had one hand tied behind their back, but in the other hand they've probably got a big gun or a stick to beat you over the head with.
I think you’ve summed it up nicely. Plus, different play styles will lean towards ‘big stick’ or ‘finesse’. When I lose playing a finesse list I wonder whether it was me, the list, my opponent. But with a big stick list I know it was likely me because the guns were all working
before the onyx contact force was a sectorial I was really interested in the models. Unidrons, overdrons, ko dali, fraacta, these are some of my favorite models in all of infinity. but i never started them because there wasn't enough support for those units without fielding things like dr worm, or morats, or shasvasti. All of which I actively dislike the look of.
@@the_infinitygamer These are some seriously good points. So mostly play CodeOne and we got the CA CodeOne set. This does make it tempting to pick up more for the N4 jump.
