You are right, many of us are always broke just because we are trying to impress other people, who don't even care about us. A change of lifestyle can definitely allow us little savings at the end of every month.

Thanks Susan for this teaching on budgeting. I thought I knew how to budget but wapi! Mine has been just a list of expenses. I bought your Budget Tracker and am now using it. It gives me a wholistic picture of all my income sources, expenses etc. Just the whole picture. This has been very humbling to realize that I do not have so much money left over as I thought I do. So I have to look at the various categories of expenses to see where I can improve so that I can be left with a larger surplus to go into my now underfunded savings and investment. Otherwise you are an expert at breaking it down. You speak from your own personal experience and that is how I am able to understand very well. Thanks again.
