If we're being informed about all of this military strength, power and technology shown in this video, it makes one wonder about our military's strength that we DON'T know about! I feel safe. Just a thought.

Just imaging that China and Russian is now getting technology that the U.S. had 20 years ago. Now just imaging how far ahead the U.S. is right now in capability. They now have the first Space Force ever. The only way the enemy can fight them effectively is by dressing in civilian clothing and hiding among them.

I had the same exact thoughts. The whole time while watching the video twice cuz I watched the original video and I just kept thinking what kind of technology and weapons do we have that are kept secret by the government and military if we don't mind revealing these weapons than just what kind of weapons do we have that the general public doesn't even know about and I'm talking about the weapons that are known only to the people that operate them smh. Idk maybe I'm wrong maybe that's all the weapons we actually do have and military keeps no secrets from it's people but I doubt it cuz no way that the biggest superpower on the planet today will expose all it's mighty strength and it's ability to protect it's self and it's ppl and ability to conquer other countries cuz then other countries know everything about u and u have no advantage so they gotta have some crazy advanced technology and weapons that they keep it a secret

I’d like to think I’m a small part of that…I’m an Infrared sensor and phenomenology subject matter expert (what we call a SME). Part of my job is to make sure that we are ALWAYS doing what is necessary to make sure that nobody can ever launch an attack on us that we don’t see coming. Before you tell me that they can put a missile warhead on a balloon…I would ask you “Do you know how much those things weigh?…and how big of a balloon that would require?” IR sensors would never see that but the radars would. I’m not saying that the recent intrusions aren’t a problem…they most certainly are. They’re also embarrassing…but I was talking about sneak attacks with weapons systems (especially nukes). Not to mention, the terrain here is vast, and often difficult. Supporting a supply chain from the other side of the world, would be nearly impossible for any other one nation to do.

My BIGGEST critique of them. I have grown to like them more and more but this is definitely the biggest problem I have with them. They miss so much because of it. Whether this type of video or a music reaction video. They need to pause more if they are going to talk. That’s sort of how reaction channels are suppose to work. If they can fix that I’ll subscribe in a heart beat!

@davidweeks4006
@davidweeks4006 Год назад
Honestly speaking, I’m a fan of the channel and y’all have grown on me more and more. My biggest criticism is y’all have to start pausing more if you are going to talk even for just a few seconds because you end up missing small but SUPER IMPORTANT details in your videos. Whether it’s a video like this or a music reaction type. Plus if I’m hearing for the first time myself while watching you, I can’t hear everything either. Oh and the second critique id give is to turn the video volume up a tiny bit at least, if you can, because the talking drowns out the sound. And I have to keep adjusting the volume especially at night or in certain places because the video volume is sort of low, but if I turn it up and y’all start talking it’s super loud because you guys get excited which I really like about you guys, but hate having to keep adjusting volume lol. I could always go watch the original video myself but I like to watch it for the first time with other people so I can see how others feel simultaneously as me while hearing it for the first time. Please don’t be upset with my opinion lol, which I know you won’t, because I still have a lot of love and respect for you guys. Just putting my 2 cents in. I’m sure others don’t care, but I think discourse as long as it’s well intended and respectful is a very good thing! Keep up the good work!
@davidweeks4006
@davidweeks4006 Год назад
Honestly I wanted to stop the video out of frustration a few times because you talk over some of the most important details. I don’t think you realize how much you are missing. Reacting is listening first, pausing, give your outlook, then continue and repeat.

There's always a person near the President carrying a Titanium briefcase called the "Nuclear Football". In that briefcase is a device to communicate with the 400 silos, 20 or so subs, and nuclear armed planes and give the launch orders. The Minuteman III can launch in 1 minute and payload is on target within the hour. Submarines can launch upwards of 64 nuclear tipped Tomahawk cruise missiles that would scream 15 feet above the ground for hundreds of miles. Given these subs are normally 20-50 miles away from a hostile target, the time on target is about 15 minutes or less. Nuclear bombers would likely be in the air, because we'd be at DEFCON 2 or 1, meaning they are hovering off the enemy shore. Then a variety of B-2, B-52 and other aircraft would scream into enemy airspace and drop dozens of nuclear weapons. This would take the longest but be the most devasting.

We actually keep designing and maintaining these weapon platforms to not kill people but keep people from being killed. It's a deterant but certainly would cause massive casualties if forced to deploy them.

My son has been in the Air Force for 12 years.. he's now commissioned and flying jets, helicopters, navigating drones, and has the reach of technology that I'm not even allowed to know about... But, I know.. Also, if we were to go to war right now, there would not be boots on the ground. It would most certainly have a lot of biological warfare on top of nuclear missiles. The United States has the thermodynamic nuclear warheads that only Russia has over all the other countries. It would be self-defeating to fire these weapons because there would be nothing left. Very scary to think about. The bombs that we dropped in world War II are like little teardrops in the ocean compared to the power we have now. 😬✈️💣🚀💥
@Prozak63
@Prozak63 2 года назад
Interesting. To fly jets, helicopters, and RPA would require 3 different specialty codes. And it sounds as he began enlisted and later "became" commissioned. This was all accomplished in 12 years? That's the first I've ever heard off in my 26+ years...

First off, it would depend on the mission (and war) as to whether there would be boots on the ground. As to flying jets, helicopters and drones isn’t exactly right. They are different in training, missions and rate, mos etc. Granted a helo pilot could become a jet fighter pilot and Vice versa, but it takes different training and and years to do. To do all that in only 12 years had to start as a drone pilot in enlisted then move on to officer and become a pilot. To become an officer takes 4 years at the academy to start. So now, you’re down to 8 to be trained and qualified in three different types of jobs. Very suspect. And this coming from a veteran who worked in a rag outfit and adversary squadron who knows how long it takes to become a trained pilot.
@greggwilliamson
@greggwilliamson 2 года назад
Think about this, a Naval Aviator (all others are pilots) must take a 25,000 lb FA-18, traveling at 160 mph, and hit a spot the size of a regulation football field, while that football field is moving in all three axes at the same time. Up/down, side/side, forward. Plus, they have to find the damn thing in the middle of an ocean. It ain't where you left it.

POTUS is always flanked by someone carrying a suitcase with nuclear launch codes, but the actual process involves multiple people. The US has a policy that it cannot launch first strike nukes, and military members are supposed to refuse any unlawful orders. This played out publicly at the end of Trump’s term when there was concern about his state of mind and military brass very publicly reminded troops of their oath to the Constitution and duty to refuse any unlawful orders. At the Reagan Library in Cali they have the Air Force One plane used through the early 2000s that you can go through and the front of the plane had the military station where the launch codes and secure communications were.

Yes, if a missile is launched we will see it and we have a robust missile defense system based on land and sea across the world on bases in various countries. It's capable of intercepting most warheads from a number of missiles launched from Russia or China. If it's not intercepted on the way up it will be intercepted on the way down. I can’t remember how long my boys training who flys an F-35, stationed in Japan rn was but well over a year, somewhere around over a year to 2 years. You literally have to be trained as a pilot, in class, on Cessna’s, most which take months each before you even get close to a jet. Those f-35s run around like 100 million each, 10k to let you crash a 100 mil $ jet? Keep dreaming my friend. Not to mention an ejection would most likely cause major injuries to you as well. The president of the United States is the commander in chief of the US military and has the authority to order an immediate military strike whenever necessary. Congress must declare war before we can send troops to fight on foreign soil but that takes time and requires a super majority vote before action can be taken. The president has this power in case immediate action needs to be taken. Unfortunately this provides a loophole and makes it possible for a president to order an airstrike on a foreign country without a formal declaration of war. (Like Barak Obama did with Libya.)

I haven't finished the video yet so idk if it covers this but on top of our huge and expensive military and homeland defense systems, we are also part of NATO. So if by some miracle another country successfully launches an attack on our homeland, All the NATO superpowers would immediately retaliate/join in our defense. (And vice versa for the US if someone attacks a NATO country) I'm glad yall did this reaction though! I like hearing your input but also it might help some who are feeling uneasy about world affairs right now! ❤

An F-22 Raptor costs an estimated $120 million, $334 million if we factor in research and development costs. 57% of Air Force Pilots makes between $129,640 and $322,527 a year.

Got to say though, it said only the UK can closely match the USA but thats not correct, we have ships to protect our islands so nowadays we have a smaller fleet compared to America. But every year both countries do participate in "war games" . These games normaly last 5 days but unfortunately a couple of yrs ago the Americans had to stop half way through DAY 1 because they were over run so quickly. No disrespect to the American forces , they are amazing but never under estimate the smaller British forces :).

@@seigeengine why does he have to be that? Because he goes against the grain and tells everyone to fight hard for what they want in life? I think it’s counterproductive to cast him out. Think of all the people out there of all races who worked their takes off and came from nothing and now are super rich. If it wasn’t possible it wouldn’t happen
