I was working at a place on the base that housed the Mercy sailors after they came back from New York when covid was really bad there. They had to quarantine for 2 weeks with us. Such nice people, but some of them did not stay in their rooms like they were supposed to 😂

About 4 years ago the military shot a missile from Texas and a military base in the Pacific not only tracked the missile but shot it down from the same island. The 1st test was 2500 nautical miles distance away from each other. The 2nd test was 4500 nautical miles distance away from each other.

If the parents are shocked (easy to read this body language) you can believe the children are also, even moreso although their feelings, fear, may stay internalized for years. I would like to second the motion to all be friends, from the US. The only real drawback is that while our taxes pay for our military, civilians don't have any say in what our military does. Even if we all disagree with what our military is doing we don't get a voice in the matter. I still support the soldiers, just not all of our government's choices.

Canadians come to the US for surgeries. I met a few. They said 6 months for a kidney transplant. It gets worse, like a broken arm. They came down here. Even got their stuff all ready to live here. They say it is faster and they do not want to go back to Canada. So those who can afford it come down and stay. One person had Diabetis and had to wait for something so important a test. Just to see if it was not bad or bad and if they need Insulin. Down here they cried in how it is taken seriously. Seriously in this case not taking a year. The lady could have needed Insulin. Her dad was Diabetic so it was important. She did not have it but had another thing Canadians went back too though. They did not mind and up there worke better for them. But they came to the US for anything major they said.

ya, unlike, a lot of other militeries of other countries , that wouldn't care less, if there's civilians, just look at russia, they're just blowing up cities in ukraine just like any other day, they couldn't care less, its not military vs military only, its every civilian fighting for their lives there ..there should be a goal or objective in war, and just killing civilians isnt any part of furthering an objective its just stem from a cold heart, (and like leaders like russia/putin who are heartless)
