Hi Peter! On Tip #2, can we include the requirement for renter's insurance in their rental contract or is this just a suggestion? Thanks for all the great and informational videos!
@bellah.8796 I was thinking the same. I think I will make it a requirement. Or included in the rent... I have to do more research on the state or county laws.
I absolutely, positively hate insurance! You pay for many years and then have a claim - your rates go up! What in the world have we been paying for, to begin with!? I know how it works but, very frustrating. So you are forced to have coverage that will do everything in their power to not reimburse you and will raise your rates or even deny coverage if you make (in their eyes) too many claims. An absolute scam.
